Fantastic rental in the heart of Ka'anapali, gorgeous Lanai with a great view of the beach and islands beyond. Honua Kai is our favorite resort on Maui, and Duke's is the icing on the cake. Hosts were responsive, and the unit was very clean and well presented.

We had a really nice stay here. The location is fantastic, and the beach right out front is beautiful—especially for snorkeling. The condo looks just like the photos, and the grounds are well-maintained and truly lovely. The concierge, Julie, was extremely helpful and welcoming, and she helped us book some great outings. Overall, a great spot for a Maui trip, and I’d definitely stay here again.

October 2024 visit

We loved everything about our stay. The condo was amazing, the staff were beyond helpful and so friendly. We actually were supposed to move to condo in Kihei but we love Honua Kai we ended up extending our stay for another 5 days. We can’t wait to go back.

Great property

Honua Kai is a fabulous property. Great pool for both couples and families. Beach is good - amazing snorkeling right out in front of the resort. The condo is a great size for 2 adults. Would be tight with 4 people. The bedroom is on the small side and is not large enough to accommodate 2 large suitcases. No luggage rack or dressers. Overall a great place. Would recommend.

Wonderful Quiet Location

Unit is just as pictured and is in a quiet location with a good ocean view from the lanai. Resort is really nice and right on the beach. The restaurant on the resort property has very good food with an ocean view location. Only one issue-the sleeper sofa needs repairs. Is missing several springs and a rod that holds the foundation tight. Ended up just sleeping on the sofa because the pull out bed was so uncomfortable. Will return to this resort again in the future. Great location and a beautiful resort.

Check in process horrible

We arrived to the property around 3pm was informed the unit wasn’t available at that time. My spouse and I waited until we received a call from Cara at 3:40 letting us know the property was ready. We went to the bell desk and received security bracelets. My spouse and I went up To the unit and was still locked. Proceeded Back down to the bell desk with about 12 other people seeming to have the same issues. The response from the bell desk was it’s only 5 more minutes, by the time you get up the doors will be unlocked! Not a good process and will reconsider future rentals

Our stay at Honua Kai was fantastic and the perfect fit for our family vacation in Maui. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious, and in a great location with easy access to everything we needed. Lovely Family Resort

What a perfect place to stay! The only thing we wished for was more time at the resort. The property was very clean and well maintained. There are 3 pools, plenty of swim fun for our kids, age 10 and 2. Convenient location, beautiful room and view.

Enjoyed our stay

Beautiful stay only issue work was going on by facility maintenance painting was done on our balcony which we were not able to use

Wonderful place to decompress!

We are now huge fans of Honua Kai and particularly love this unit. Checkin/out could not have been easier (no pesky lines!), the unit is lovely and comfortable, and we slept great on the bed. Plenty of room for our family of three, and the location of the unit is nice and quiet. Cannot wait to return!
