VERY NICE VILLA 9P, INCREDIBLE VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS AND THE SEA, LARGE PRIVATE HEATED POOL, TERRACES, WIFI, AIR CONDITIONING, BBQ.

Villa El Botin is undeniably: “A house with a view”! Everywhere you look around, even from the heated pool, the stunning scenery takes your breath away. You can see both the mountains and the sea. You are surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature, in the middle of large olive and almond groves. The house is located on a quiet road but only 5 minutes drive from the beautiful Andalusian village of Comares, also known as 'The Pearl of Axarquia' and voted 'Pueblo magico d'España'. There are lovely terraces, some shaded to enjoy al fresco dining

There is a very cozy and comfortable living room with a pellet stove for the colder evenings and a large French window which opens onto the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, hob, oven, microwave, fridge and all the necessary cooking utensils. There is TV, DVD, stereo, FREE WIFI and ample parking.

The large private swimming pool (12m x 4m) can be heated, except from mid-November to mid-March. There are terraces with views of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains. A barbecue area outside invites you to cook and dine al fresco. This part of southern Spain has the best climate in all of Europe, winters are very mild here, as evidenced by the many tropical fruits that grow here: mangoes, cherymoyas and avocados. Imagine, enjoying all this with friends or family in a super relaxing environment... something to dream about!

All of our villas are located in beautiful natural surroundings and quiet village areas. Therefore, these houses are ideal for the holidays of families and groups who seek and appreciate these characteristics. Please therefore note that the villas are not suitable and available for loud parties.

Our customers can also bring a pet, but please after requesting it.

The pretty village of Comares has been voted 'Pueblo Magico d'España' and is often referred to as 'The Pearl of Axarquia'. There are restaurants, cozy bars, a supermarket, a bakery (bread baked in a wood oven!), banks, a pharmacy and an ATM. Every morning, a doctor is present. Just outside the village you can enjoy via ferratas and the largest Tirolina in Spain. The beautiful surroundings invite you to hike, cycle, mountain bike or just… relax and enjoy the view.

The award winning beach of Torre del Mar is only 40 minutes (approx) drive from the house. You will find many wonderful “chiringuitos” (beach restaurants) where you can enjoy fresh fish straight from the nearby fishing port of Caleta de Velez. Velez Malaga is next to Torre del Mar and has a large shopping centre. The beautiful lake of Viñuela is a 40 minute drive from the house (approx). You can hike around the lake and enjoy a great meal at one of the restaurants. Nerja, with its famous caves and the famous Balcony of Europa is about an hour's drive (approx) from the house. Málaga, pearl of gastronomy and culture is also only one hour away. Visit one of the many museums, enjoy a real flamenco show or shop until you drop in the famous Calle Larios. Málaga has something to offer everyone.

Villa El Botin is also perfectly located for visiting other parts of Andalucia. You can visit Ronda, Granada (Alhambra), Cordoba (Mezquita) or the famous Caminito del Rey, on a day trip.

And there is so much more! Come and discover the beauty of Andalusia and the warmth of its people.

THINGS TO NOTE:

-Although the final cleaning is included in the price, we ask all clients to leave the house as they found it.

-For monthly rentals, electricity and gas are NOT included.

- Air conditioning cost: 30 euros by week is in place for your arrival, after this you pay for what you use. The average cost is 1 euro for 1 hour depending on the temperature that you set. Please be aware that air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms only.

-A dog can be allowed ONLY after request.

-Pool heating must be requested one week before arrival and is at extra cost.

-Pool heating is available from April 01 to November 15 at an additional cost of 190 euros per week

-To take full advantage of the surroundings, a car is essential.

-You must pay a refundable deposit of €500 on arrival, which we ask to be paid by credit card. You will be refunded within 7 days of your departure. This cannot be done on the day of your departure, as many guests leave the houses/apartments on the same day. Please ensure our office or your caretaker has your bank details in order to return the deposit.
-Pellets for the pellet stove can be purchased from your caretaker.
Pet cost: €50 per animal.

There is a refundable cleaning/damage deposit of 500 euros, to be paid on arrival.
For long-term rentals (more than 28 days), you pay electricity at €0.35/kw.
PLEASE NOTE THAT PERSON MAKING THE RESERVATION MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

A super place to get away from it all.

This villa certainly ticked all the boxes for a peaceful stay in wonderful surroundings. The villa was exactly as described and the pool with heating was superb for early morning and late swimming. The surrounding area is lovely and well worth exploring. The local village of Comares has everything you need and is a pretty white village on the top of a hill. The caretaker called on the first day and was available if needed. overall I would recommend this villa for a peaceful quiet holiday.

Absolutely Perfect

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the villa was perfect for all my family, which enabled me to spend quality time with all of them. The pool was amazing, we all had so much fun. Location is great for all the local tourist areas, and Comares is breath taking. We enjoyed it so much, we are wanting to do it again next year! My only criticism is the beds could be proper beds rather than camp style bases, a bigger kettle so we can all enjoy coffee together! However they were no issue and did not spoil our holiday at all! Loved it.

Long awaited covid holiday

The outside space was fantastic but the inside needed some attention, had we been a party of 12 it would have been a bit difficult….eg , bathroom space, , not enough seating for 12 outside , only 6 wine glasses, the kettle was only 1litre and would literally only make 3 drinks. Aside from these criticisms we adapted and had a fantastic time, think you. need to mention how very rural it is and quite a challenge as a driver!

Traumhafte Lage

Wunderschön gelegenes Feriendomizil inmitten der Natur. Hier lässt es sich völlig ungestört entspannen. Der große, sehr gepflegte Pool und die Aussicht Richtung Küste sind phänomenal. Die Wassertemperatur lag mitten im Sommer bei herrlichen 29 Grad, was will man mehr? Selbst ein wildlebendes Chamäleon stattete unseren erfreuten Kindern einen Besuch ab. Natur pur!

Dejlig ferie i skønt hus smukt beliggende med fantastisk view i rolige omgivelser.

Vi og vores venner havde en dejlig ferie i dette skønne hus som ligger helt enestående med en udsigt over bjerge og helt ud til middelhavet. Vi tilbragte 4 uger her og havde indimellem besøg af venner. Huset er beliggende ca. 15 km fra middelhavet hvilket tager ca. 30 minutter i bil. En bil er helt nødvendig da det ligger væk fra offentlig transport og indkøbsmuligheder. Huset var veludstyret og meget godt indrettet og lå midt i en Mango plantage. Josè , vores vært, sørgede for at vi fik rigelig med mango. Josè var meget service minded og vi kunne ringe 24/7 . Ligeledes var Linda fra Comares Holiday Properties meget hjælpsom og service minded. Poolen var virkelig dejlig og blev brugt flittigt . Vi kan varmt anbefale denne bolig og kommer meget gerne igen snarest. Dorthe og Henning sept./okt 2021

Tranquilidad y desconexión absoluta

Hemos estado 12 días en esta villa y la estancia ha sido maravillosa. La propiedad está totalmente apartada del núcleo urbano, lo que para nosotros no ha sido ningún problema, pero hay que tenerlo en cuenta si lo que se desea es moverse mucho. El camino desde la carretera es rural y en algunas zonas muy impinado. La piscina es grande y está muy limpia. Acudía una persona tres veces por semana a mantenerla. Bañarte y ver solo naturaleza a tu alrededor da mucha tranquilidad. Hay que tener en cuenta que había bastantes avispas. Había dos trampas para avispas pero aún así merodeaban por la zona de la piscina. Junto a la piscina está la zona de barbacoa, que disfrutamos un montón. Hay tres zonas de terraza, una en la entrada de la casa con una pequeña mesa con sillas, una en la trasera junto a la piscina con mesa y sillas y una zona de sofás. En el primer piso hay una amplia terraza a la que se accede por dos habitaciones en la que hay otra mesa con sillas, aunque echamos en falta en ella una sombrilla y luz para poder disfrutarla por la noche. Las habitaciones son amplias y las camas muy cómodas. La cocina tiene todo lo necesario y está todo limpio. Hay dos baños, uno en cada piso. El de abajo tiene ducha y el de arriba bañera. Es lo que menos nos ha gustado, y creo que deberían renovarlo. Además, fue una pena que los dos últimos días hubiese a ratos olor a desagüe, algo que me imagino podrán solucionar. En resumen, una casa estupenda si lo que buscas es aislarse del bullicio y descansar.

Maison tres bien équipee dans un site superbe

La maison est difficile a trouver au bout d'un chemin escarpe. mais une fois installés, tout va bien ;La villa est bordee de plantations d'avocatiers, d'orangers , de citronniers et de manguiers, murs à point... Il nous a manqué un peu d'information pour avoir de l'eau chaude, du chauffage (25 decembre) et le maniement du four mais ces détails étant reglés, nous avons passé une semaine tres agreable, chacun ayant son espace d'intimité. A signaler, deux terrasses au 1er étage plein sud avec chaises et tables et acces internet.. Nous avons choisi cette villa car elle est a proximité de Cordoue et Grenade . Je n'oublie pas la piscine que nos enfants ont utilisé le 25 decembre pour le fun ...Propriétaires gentils et attentifs . Nous recommandons cette villa.

Peaceful relaxing getaway with awesome views

The villa had everything we needed and more. The views from the property were incredible, and there was a lovely breeze most days to cool us down, otherwise it would have been too hot. Arrival at the villa was quick and easy - we phoned the caretaker a couple of hours before arrival and he met us when we got there, then we were left to our own devices. Apart from the pool man who came several times to clean the pool, we weren’t bothered at all. You need to be a reasonably confident driver to drive on the roads up to the villa, but it’s worth it. The pool was in use constantly and very much appreciated. I loved that we could flip the lights on at night and use it then too. The poolside area got the sun all day so we rarely left apart from to do a restock of supplies from the larger supermarket in Velez-Malaga, and a couple of sight seeing trips. Comares is a lovely place to visit for the views and the moorish architecture (and there’s a handy small supermarket for the odd item) Lake Vinuela was lovely for the views but it was too hot to stay long. The Wi-fi was useful but there was a good 4G signal as well. The TV didn’t have any English channels, but it didn’t bother us as we are used to that and brought our own iPad with films etc on it that we could just connect to the TV. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was easy to prepare our own food everyday. Dishwasher very welcome.

If you like it lonely and peaceful - this is the place to be

We really enjoyed the house and the surroundings. The large pool was great to cool down or be active. Some minor upgrades, like an outdoor shower or direct connection to a bathroom from pool area would make it even more enjoyable. AC is not available which was OK for us as we had a fresh breeze most of the time and kept windows open. However as no insect screens are installed, this resulted in itchy mornings. From the 2 villages nearby you can get everything you need. Generally speaking, it's more rural compared to e.g. Competa, but if that's what you seek - bingo.

Perfect place to unwind...

We came already for at least the 6th time and enjoyed it just as much as when we first saw Villa Botin. The weather was great, the heated pool very inviting and the service again excellent. The views are the most spectactular from watching the sun rise on the Roof terrace to taking a late night swim in the illuminated pool and watching the lights of Velez Malaga at night. A truely perfect place to unwind and forget the everyday stress at home. We already made reservations again....!

Sehr schöne Finca mit atemberaubender Aussicht

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche mit 5 Personen. Die Finca ist gut zu finden. Der Kontakt war sehr nett und bei Fragen immer greifbar. Finca kann man sehr gut weiterempfehlen. Es war alles super sauber. Alles, was benötigt wird, ist vorhanden. 2x die Woche wird nach dem Pool geschaut. Die Villa ist zwar etwas abseits, aber das weiß man ja vorher. Für uns war alles genauso wie beschrieben. Der Pool ist super groß und die Aussicht der Hammer. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Natur pur. Im Örtchen Comares kann man im "Molino de los Abuelos" super etwas trinken und dort auch hervorragend essen. Comares ist auch einen zweiten Besuch wert. Ein schönes kleines Örtchen.

Magnifique villa au calme!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Linda et Jose qui sont très disponible pour les vacanciers. La villa est très propre, confortable, bien entretenue et très bien équipée. La piscine est très agréable et la vue depuis la piscine et depuis la villa est superbe. Bien situé au milieu des collines de manguiers, c’est très calme, il n’y a pas de voisins autour et en 10 minutes en voiture on arrive aux premiers villages avec épicerie, boulangerie et autres services, le premier supermarché est à 25-30 minutes et la plage 35 minutes. Je recommande pour des vacances au calme avec des possibilités de différentes balades et activités.

Comares Andalusien

Das Haus selbst ist sehr sauber und gut gepflegt, gut ausgestattete Küche und schöner warmer Pool. Die Betten dürften etwas besser sein. Grandiose Aussicht und Landschaft, und garantiert kein Störenfried in der Nähe. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief angenehm und einwandfrei. Für selbstversorgende Ruhesucher hervorragend geeignet. Die in der Nähe liegende weisse Stadt Comares ist ein paar Ausflüge wert. Empfehlenswert und bis bald.

Schönes Haus mit super Aussicht

Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und liegt etwas abgelegen, ohne die Koordinaten fast nicht zu finden. Wir mussten in der Nacht fragen, die Leute waren sehr hilfsbereit, sind uns sogar nachgefahren, um uns den Weg zu zeigen. Aussicht ist toll und an den Obstbäumen hängen leckere Früchte. Am besten ist der Pool, der Aufpreis für das warme Wasser hat sich wirklich gelohnt! Der Weg zu den bekannten Touristenorten ist allerdings etwas zeitaufwendiger , da die Fahrstrecke überwiegend sehr kurvenreich ist. Die Aussicht und Landschaft des Hauses hat es für uns aber völlig wett gemacht.
