Dear Charlie, It was very nice indeed to have you stay for a week in Sunnybrae. I'm very glad you enjoyed it so much! You'll be welcome to return any time! Anna

We enjoyed having you stay. Thank you for leaving it so clean!

Thank you very much - I'm delighted that you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much, Nancy. I'm delighted that you enjoyed it so much!

Dear Valerie, I am very happy that you said the location is fabulous and the garden is a joy! Thank you. We did have some problems with your stay as you know. I hope we were never defensive! I really have no record of that at all! But you did not read instructions well. You said you had difficulty finding the house. No-one else has in twenty years - it is right on Chapel Brae and overlooks the Games Park. It is very easy to find. Worse, you did not read the instructions about the washing machine and tried to break it by forcing the lid shut without closing the inner drum and then called out our manager because it was making a grunching sound. It was because you did not close the drum and this nearly broke it! I'm glad you like the extensive collection of CDs and high quality HiFi. Similarly there are lots of books, but we can't cater for everyone's taste and many people reading modern books choose to read them on KIndles and similar. Thank you for letting me know about the grouting on the shower. I'm not sure what you mean about the mattress because we renewed it only two years ago. We shall keep providing herbs and spices as a courtesy. We really don't see curry powder that is one year old as problem as you do! Curry powder lasts at its best for three to four years. if you check. The tap and basin unit in the upstairs bathroom are modern units and the tap design is just modern and feels a bit stiff. I used it myself recently and it's absolutely fine so long as you are not expecting an old-fashioned tap! There is a second satellite TV point in the lounge, but most people like to have a separate TV room as we have and a quiet lounge at the other end of the house. That is one of the great joys of Sunnybrae - that family groups can be together when they want, and also in separate groups at other times.

Thank you Mary - and Walter! I'm delighted that you all enjoyed it!

Dear Bart, Thank you very much! I'm very happy that you enjoyed Sunnybrae so much. You'll be very welcome to come back any time.

Thank you very much for this lovely review! I'm delighted that you had a good time. I think I just need to explain that the mattress in the king size bed is nearly new - it is just 12 months old! We choose mattresses for good back support, and it is simply difficult to choose a mattress that suits everyone. So if you found it a little firm, that is because we have to cater for people of different sizes and weights and so choose mattresses that are firm rather than too soft. I hope that explains the bed detail and I am very glad that you had a wonderful time!

Thank you very much for this excellent review! I'm delighted that you enjoyed it and loved the gardens. I think I need to explain that the mattresses are all recent - some only twelve months old. We choose mattresses for back support and it is simply difficult to choose a mattress that suits everyone. So if you found any a little firm, that is because we have to cater for people of different sizes and especially weights. So we choose mattresses that are firm rather than too soft. I hope that answers this point and I am very glad that you had a wonderful time!

It was a real pleasure having you stay and corresponding with you! Thanks very much for letting me know about the flickering bulb in the kitchen - I'll get that replaced. Thanks also for putting me in touch with your artist friend. We are going to see her next week! Best wishes and you'll be very welcome to return any time.

Thank you very much. Yes, we have lots of red squirrels in the garden! I' m very happy that you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much, Mary. It was a pleasure to have you stay and I am delighted that you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much! I'm delighted that you loved the house and garden, and of course you'll be welcome to return any time.

Thank you very much, Martin!

Thank you very much! It was a pleasure corresponding with you and having you stay. You'd be very welcome any time.

Dear Douglas - Surprise ! - the kitchen was remodelled last week to make space, and there is now a brand new dish-washer! I'm very glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for telling me about the sliding shower door - one of the wheels had just worked loose and has now been tightened again. We did not expect you do use the sofa bed. You booked and paid for only 5 people and there are beds for 7! So the sofa bed should not have been needed and was left in its position as a normal couch and not rotated as a bed. So thank you very much for your feedback and I'm delighted that you enjoyed your stay. The dishwasher will be here for you next time!
