Traumhafter Aufenthalt im Herzen der Tokana

Wir haben mit unserer Familie einen traumhaften Urlaub auf dem Landgut der Familie Bernabei in der Toskana verlebt. Die herrliche Lage des Anwesens und die absolute Ruhe haben es uns besonders angetan. Zum Empfang hat man uns eine Flasche Montepulciano, Brot und Salami geschenkt. Das Haus war sehr gemütlich und passend zur Umgebung ausgestattet. Trotzdem mussten wir auf Annehmlichkeiten wie stabiles WLAN und Deutsches TV nicht verzichten. Wir reden oft über diesen Urlaub und haben ihn für das nächste Jahr fest eingeplant.

Splendid Tuscan farmhouse with a spectacular view

San Ansano is an absolutely beautiful place, we loved it from the moment we first saw it. It is an old traditional farmhouse spendidly located in the Tuscan hills, on the one hand very peaceful and quiet, but on the other hand close to the SS223, the road connecting Siena with Grosseto on the Mediterranian coast. The house is divided into three apartments. We generally stay in apartment A3 on the first floor. It is quite large with a generous living, three bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, and two bathrooms. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and decorated, creating a comfortable and pleasant environment, with the perfect fireplace in the living room completing the picture. The house is very well maintained and clean, and the friendly German housekeeper, who has a great sense of humor, takes perfect care of it. But although the place is fantastic on the inside, we love it most for its terrace outside. The view is simply spectacular, with the Crete Sienese and the mountaintop city Montalcino on the east and the Monte Amiata on the south. The terrace also overlooks the garden, from where the sweet smells of rosemary and lavender readily rise up to the seating area. Furthermore, the garden has a luxurious swimming pool. The terrace also presents a fine view on the picturesque little village of Pari on top of a hill about 1 km to the south. Pari is a charming place with a small grocery, where we buy our everyday goods, and a ‘locanda’, a small restaurant with perfect homemade Tuscan food. For us San Ansano has it all: beautiful peaceful surroundings with spectacular views, perfect walking, charming cities like Siena, Montalcino and Pienza, great food and great wine, the beach close by….. you name it. Per chi è alla ricerca del vero relax!

L'anno scorso siamo stati per la prima volta in questa splendida struttura e quest'anno non abbiamo avuto alcun dubbio nello sceglierla di nuovo! Panorama mozzafiato, tranquillità assoluta e una splendida piscina sono gli ingredienti principali. Molto confortevole l'appartamento con terrazzino privato panoramico. Inoltre a disposizione anche un barbecue per chi si vuole cimentare nella cottura della bistecca. Insomma...consigliatissimo!

wonderfull and confortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at San Ansano Agriturismo Le Caldanelle. We stayed in Apartment A2 and our stay exceeded our expectations; very nice, clean and confortable, very great kitchen and sittingroom. Martin, the housekeeper, was really very helpful, nice, and very personable.We were surrounded by all the nature and quiet. The swimmingpool was really nice and had an astonishing view on the valley and Pari.This is an ideal place for people looking to stay in a beautiful quiet setting that is a little off the beaten path. The village of Pari had a wonderful trattoria that we frequented. There were also may wonderful trails to hike. And all within 30 minutes driving to Sienna and many more fasinating small towns. This was a real oasis and we feel very fortunate to have been able to stay here. We highly recommend staying here to future travelers.
