Superb accommodation with amazing views

A family of 6, we found apartment A3 to offer spacious and gracious accommodation for us all. We ate most days in the lovely terrace which offers splendid views over the valley and the little village of Pari. The pool and sunbed area was just below and is accurately captured in the website photographs, what more is there to say? We did leave this lovely base most days on various trips (Siena twice, beach at Castiglione twice, acquapark at Follonica as well as Montalcino, Saturnia springs, Pitigliano, Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Galgano etc) but it was always a pleasure to return and enjoy San Ansano.

Spectacular views, memorable stay

Staying here was a unique and memorable experience for our family of 3 adult couples. The place was a little hard to find at night as the pin did not take us to the correct location on Google maps. It directed us past the turn and on the road below to a chain off road that we could not go down. So the location was almost correct but not quite right to actually get us there. Eventually we found it. The 3 bedroom apartment is very spacious and modern but yet authentic as well. The only negative with the layout is the large bathroom was not connected to the master suite. Ricardo was amazing! He grilled chicken & steaks for us on the outdoor grill with wood and branches from olive trees. It was absolutely delicious and a true Tuscan experience to watch him at work. We have fallen in love with this place!!! The view is stunning! It's peaceful, relaxing and a place we will return to without hesitation. The owner was incredibly prompt in responding to all our questions and requests prior to arrival. Thank you for everything!

Die großzügige Wohnung ist mit allen Dingen ausgestattet, die man braucht. Es gibt eine wunderschöne Terrasse zum Essen, einen Grillplatz, einen Pool und Liegen im Garten.

Viel Platz für uns als fünfköpfige Familie! Tolle Aussicht von Terrasse und Pool, nur 35 Minuten nach Siena oder 2 Minuten ins liebliche Pari mit einem Cafe und einem kleinen Laden. Sehr empfehlenswert! Den Pool musste ich jedoch mehrmals selbst von Tieren und Laub befreien...

Under the Tuscan Sun - with fantastic hosts!

After driving down a small tree covered drive it opens up to reveal two rustic buildings, an outdoor kitchen, EXACTLY what you see in the photos. Martin greeted us showed us around and had been at the property for some time waiting for our bag to be delivered (lour bag arrived from the airport before we did) The property is stunning. The small town of Pari is a treasure with two small but delicious restaurants and there are sulfur baths just 2 KM away! We used the outdoor kitchen to grill, we picked up delicious meat at a town nearby recommended by Martin. Of course the pool was perfect for actually relaxing and enjoying our time. We did a few day trips (Radda, Montalcino, the beach town nearby) and enjoyed the sulfur baths - if you drive past the "main" area and the spa you can just park on the side of the road and hike down - AWESOME! We were a little thrown when we arrived to learn that the apartment didn't have AC - VRBO messed up the listing. This was in NO way the owners fault they were shocked and quite upset to discover the error. Immediately every fan available was brought to us and more were delivered the next day. We learned the way of life in the country (closing shutters to block the sun and retain the cool during the day) and we were completely comfortable sleeping, cooking hanging out. I would highly recommend this rental - the owner has a couple of rentals so a bit of research if you want something closer to Sienna you can find their rental there as well.

Calm beauty

Quite the nicest outside space and view across to Pari we've ever had on holiday. The generous loggia provided the perfect spot for lazy days and balmy evenings. We appreciated the peace and tranquility of the setting, the comfort and spaciousness of the apartment and the friendliness of the owner. The Maremma coast is stunning and with numerous trips possible to a variety of towns you're not short of things to do either.

Sehr geräumige Wohnung mit großartiger Aussicht

Die Beschreibung der Wohnung war absolut zutreffend. Sie ist sehr geräumig, alle drei Schlafzimmer sind groß, ebenso die Küche. Es gibt genug Abstellmöglichkeiten und Stauraum. Die neuen Bäder sind sehr schön. Die zur Wohnung gehörende große Terrasse, die auch Schatten bietet, haben wir besonders viel genutzt. Von dort aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf die umliegende Landschaft. Erwähnenswert auch die dicht abschließenden Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern! Der Verwalter Martin war sehr hilfreich, insbesondere mit Tipps für Restaurants. Wir (Familie, 5 Personen) haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Klare Empfehlung!

Fantastic!

My family and I spent a week here last August. It was PERFECT. The property manager was amazingly kind and very willing to help in any way, the views were fantastic, and everything exceeded expectations. The house was perfect. We had a lot of fun at the pool on lazy days, walked to the nearby village of Pari, and did some day trips to Florence, Siena and the beach. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone and everyone!

Wonderful stay in Tuscany!

Our arrival, settling in and day to day living were seamless and the management was most helpful as well as unobtrusive. The farm and village of Pari are just wonderful, and farm is positioned strategically regarding Sienna, the beach near Grosseto and Florence. The pool was perfect for the hot summer days. The farmhouse with those thick walls was comfortably cool though.

Siamo arrivati a destinazione e siamo rimasti colpiti dal luogo che avevamo visto solo sul sito. Casa accogliente, pulita, tranquilla, ben attrezzata (cucina, forno e frigo sono ok) Piscina ben tenuta e in lontananza (ma nemmeno tanto) Pari, un vero spettacolo mente si nuota. In caso di necessità Martin vi potrà aiutare, grazie di tutto. Ci siamo fermati 2 giorni in più....

Ideal place

Wonderful location in the middle of the countryside, yet Siena is only 15 minutes away. The apartment is fully renewed: comfortable, quiet, in many ways ideal. Walk around the property for some breathtaking views. We wholeheartedly recommend it.
