Beautiful view, spacious house, needs maintenance

We stayed here with 8 adults for a weekend on Lake Como. It's a spacious house with a beautiful view and we made a big dinner of local vegetarian ravioli, focaccia and salad in the kitchen. We were able to hike to Villa Balbianello, waterfront cafe's and the Lenno ferry from the house - which we enjoyed. The host, Matteo went with us to the house for check in and helped us to arrange taxis from the boat terminal and back to Como train station. The house needs more careful preparation for guests in our opinion as frequent renters. It lacked basic supplies such as paper towels and napkins. It also had a number of broken items including a toilet flush and seat that was detached. Our group agreed it needed more thorough cleaning, as other reviewers have noted. If you don't have a car be aware - the nearest grocery store is a 2km round trip with a very steep hill on the return.

Leider entsprach das Objekt in zahlreichen Punkten nicht dem im Inserat beschriebenen Zustand – sowohl hinsichtlich Ausstattung, Zustand als auch Privatsphäre. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in keiner Weise gerechtfertigt.Nachfolgend die dokumentierten Mängel im Detail:1.Die Spülmaschine wurde vom Vermieter zwar versucht zu reparieren, ist aber weiterhin nicht funktionsfähig.2.Die Klimaanlage läuft aus.3.Mehrere Wasserhähne sind lose montiert und lassen sich vollständig um die eigene Achse drehen.4.Es fehlt jegliche Grundausstattung: keine Handtücher für Pool oder Küche, keine Kaffeemaschine, keine Spüllappen.5.Die Poolbeleuchtung ist defekt.6.Sonnenschirm und Ständer sind beschädigt.7.Die Sonnenliegen sind ebenfalls defekt.8.Der Tisch im Außenbereich ist instabil.9.In allen Bädern ist deutlich sichtbarer Schimmel vorhanden.10.Die Klospülungen laufen dauerhaft nach.11.Mehrere Toilettensitze sind lose.12.Ein WC ist schief montiert.13.Die Outdoor-Stühle sind wackelig und instabil.14.Im Pool befindet sich ein defekter Ablauf, der nicht gesichert ist – ein Gast hat sich dort am Fuß verletzt.15.Die Treppe am Pool ist locker und stellt ein Sicherheitsrisiko dar.16.Der Wäscheständer ist defekt.17.Auch in der Waschmaschine ist Schimmel vorhanden.18.Es kommt regelmäßig zu Stromausfällen aufgrund unzureichender elektrischer Kapazitäten.19.Die Müllentsorgung muss vollständig durch die Gäste organisiert werden

Lovely family trip

We were in total 8 adults. Lucky as we were, the other appartements were unoccupied, so we could use the pool for us alone the whole week. The house was clean and had a beautiful view. As some already wrote, the kitchen is not as good equiped for larger groups (lack of salad bowls and bowls to mix stuff). The host gave us mulitple ideas for sightseeing, restaurants and others. When we had questions, they were answered via WhatsApp in Minutes. Thanks for having us and arrivederci :)

Lovely apartment!!

We were there with 10 ladies. Had all we needed, if not, Matteo made it possible immediately. The pool and the lake view is definitely the best ! The rooms and beds are spacious. Lovely apartment!! We recommend the apartment and the host.

Moyen à cause d'un descriptif trop alléchant pour etre honnete

Le descriptif de l'annonce ne correpond pas à la réalité; en aucun cas il n'est précisé que la piscine est commune à cinq appartements ni que trois chambres sur cinq sont au sous-sol Les photos montrant l'ensemble de la maison, la piscine et les chambres sont donc très vendeurs...Loin de la réalité !!!

Merci pour votre avis. Je voudrais corriger un certain nombre d'inexactitudes dans vos commentaires pour le bénéfice d'autres invités. Jusqu'à présent, tous nos clients ont clairement compris les informations sur la publicité sans aucun problème. Pour éviter tout doute et pour clarifier, nous partageons sur l'annonce que la piscine est communautaire si claire pour tout le monde. Nous listons également les chambres de la maison qui sont situées dans le sol. Je pense qu'à en juger par vos commentaires, la communication était clairement un problème pour vous, je suis désolé de le dire. Je préférerais ne pas répondre de cette manière, mais j'estime qu'il est important que les clients qui lisent vos commentaires reçoivent les faits complets. Par exemple, vous nous avez informés à votre arrivée que les directions pour vous rendre au domicile n'étaient pas claires même si jusqu'à présent nous n'avons jamais rencontré de problème car nous fournissons l'adresse et l'itinéraire pour nous rejoindre comme nous l'avons fait pour vous-même. Vous avez également indiqué que vous n'aviez pas reçu de contrat avec notre numéro de téléphone pour nous joindre à votre arrivée. Nous vous avons émis un contrat envoyé 6 mois avant votre arrivée et avons pu vous en fournir une copie à votre arrivée. Lors de votre départ malgré le fait qu'on vous ait conseillé d'enlever vos déchets, ce qui fait partie du contrat de location pour rester et garder le lac de Côme une région d'une beauté naturelle exceptionnelle, montré où et quoi faire avec les déchets au départ, même au point du propriétaire enlever les déchets à l'extérieur de votre véhicule pour que vous les emportiez avec vous, au lieu de cela, vous avez choisi de partir et de laisser vos déchets derrière vous. Malheureusement, et malgré tous nos efforts, ces invités pouvaient ou ne pouvaient pas comprendre ce qui était clairement annoncé, ce qui était clairement écrit, ce qui était clairement dit ou ce qui était clairement montré. Contrairement aux huit autres avis, tous ont reçu des notes plus élevées de la part de clients satisfaits et des nombreux autres clients qui ont séjourné, apprécié leur séjour et n'ont pas rédigé d'avis.

Lovely accommodation with great views

The overall accommodation both inside and out were great. Ample room for 10 people. Check-in was quite confusing but once we met Matteo he was great. Very helpful, gave lots of information about the area which was useful. The villa is at the top of a steep hill, bare this in mind if you're planning on walking anywhere. Overall a good experience and would visit again

Amazing Lake View

We were a family group of 10 & we had ample space here. The views from the ground floor living space & the 1st floor family bedroom with balcony are beautiful. We received a warn welcome from Matteo who was very helpful & a great communicator. We prefer to eat in, & when we enquired about a larger casserole pan a new one was delivered the very next day. Great service. We would definitely recommend this property & hope to return in the future.

Beautiful lake como experience

Our families (four parents, 3 children) had a wonderful time at Matteo's property. The view was spectacular, the pool was nice, and the apartment was spacious and modern. The location was up the hill about a 20 minute walk from the Lenno ferry, which we used regularly to explore the lake. Matteo was a superb host, and helped us out with numerous suggestions at any time of day. Overall, we would absolutely stay there again. A few suggestions for matteo (all minor): The downstairs bedrooms don't have A/C, which was fine, but they could use a dehumidifier to make them a bit more comfortable. The kitchen could use some more cooking implement for those of us who like to cook while on vacation. The wifi doesn't reach the upstairs - a very easy fix.

Stunning view - great house

We had the pleasure of being here for a week with 11 people (9 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of space for us. The view is breathtaking and the owner is super friendly. Only minus point is the equipment in the kitchen (one cutting board, one big knife, one cooking spoon etc) and the advertisement mentioned a fully equipped kitchen. That is incorrect. Also, the fridge does not get super cold. Except for these minor things the house was really great and we had a lovely stay. Would consider booking again and can definitely recommend this house.

Das Haus bietet genug Platz für eine Gruppe von bis zu 10 Personen. Alles ist noch sehr neu, deshalb fehlt es noch an der einen oder anderen Sache (z.B. mehr Schneidemesser oder Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad). Ich bin aber sicher, dass der sehr nette Besitzer - Matteo - das demnächst noch nachholt. Die Terasse hat fast den ganzen Tag Sonne und einen schönen Blick auf den See. Die offene Küche eignet sich super, um zusammen zu kochen. Lediglich das WLan funktionierte nicht gut und dafür waren 30 Euro etwas viel.
