Charming penthouse

What a lovely apartment to stay in! It’s The only apartment on the top floor with sweeping views from a terrace that is almost as big as the apartment itself. The kitchen was tight, but for two people it worked well. The location was ideal and we fell in love with the city and the apartment itself.

great apartment, suffering from neglect, needs attention

We gave this apartment a 4 because it really is a nice place in a perfect location. However - it has been neglected and is in need of some attention. The patio does not look anything like the photos. The basic furniture is there. There is one plant & some pots with dead weeds, and a broken light fixture on the ground. A shade awning has been removed, so there is no shade during the heat of the day. Inside: the 2 lamps on the desk - one has a burned out bulb, one has no bulbs at all. Bathroom: no trash can, no towel/rug for floor after shower. Kitchen: no hot pads, no towels, although the young woman that checked us in did go out & buy one. The mounting plate around the door handle on inside of entrance door is missing 2 screws and is very loose. Bedroom is quite dark & could use a lamp on the other side of the bed. CHEZMOI property managers: They said a person would be there for our 3:30 arrival. Nobody was there, we had to call again & wait on the street for 15 minutes. When we emailed about some of the missing items, they said all would be taken care of. We were there for five nights; nothing was taken care of and we received no apology or explanation. It's a shame that this really wonderful place is not being given the care and upkeep it deserves.

Great location

A lovely property in a great location. The internet was pretty spotty and required numerous reboots, and the washing machine did not seem to be hooked up to a drain but fortunately there was a mop and a bucket. It was well supplied and quiet, particularly for being so well located. I would stay here again, but I would be afraid to brave doing laundry without assurance.

Perfect

The location is perfect—right in the middle of the city, with countless shops and restaurants/bars within five minutes’ walking distance. The terrace is stunning—exceptional 180-degree views with bustling sidewalks 50 feet below—even the toilet has a pretty great view (if you open the privacy-frosted window). The building is quiet—I was there all weekend and only ever saw one other person. Plan on providing your own internet connection—the house wifi is ok for sending email, but I found it was not quick enough for any kind of streaming/video calls. Bed was great—firm & supportive. Shower was hot with plenty of pressure. Hair dryer, iron/ironing board and shampoo/shower gel were all provided and there was plenty of closet space to get the luggage out of the way. Dishes and kitchen equipment were plentiful for dining and drinking in the apartment.

Just lovely

Although we had to leave early due to the mess with Trump and not being clear about who would be allowed back in after border closer... The unit was lovely for the 10 hours we got to spend there. So wish our vacation would not have been upset. Lovely view. Lovely apartment close to all.

"We could not have had a better holiday at this lovely apartment!" Michael (Germany) We particularly enjoyed the wonderful terrace area which was bathed in sunshine all afternoon, but with gorgeous views across the city and also to the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada. The apartment is perfectly located to enjoy the sights of the area, particularly the Alhambra and Granada Cathedral which was just a few streets away. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay and in addition felt very homely. In addition to this our host was extremely helpful and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable - we would definitely recommend.

Close to shops and restaurants and easy for all transport options. Gloria is a wonderful host and ensures you have a great stay. The only problem now is making time to go back, can't wait!

Fantástico Benigno (España) El apartamento es fantástico. Las Fotos aunque son buenas no le hacen justicia. La situación es inmejorable. Decorado con gusto, silencioso, y con todo lo necesario. Una joya. Pero lo mejor del apartamento es Gloria. Hace todo lo posible porque estés a gusto, con detalles que van más allá. Le gusta lo que hace y eso se nota. En definitiva altamente recomendable. Volveremos seguro.
