Not clean. No communication. Poor maintenance

We touched down, examined the property and left after seeing the lack of cleanliness both within the unit and externally. It’s clear that this property has not been cared for. I have several videos and pictures to show broken furniture, stained couches, cobwebs, broken cabinets and outdoor furniture, dirt etc. We tried to communicate with the owners but only reached the property management company and they just kept saying the owners would call. We had to end up getting different accommodations and still have not heard from the management team. Shell yeah is a big shell NO!

Unfortunately it was just one thing after another - the floor was so dirty - absolutely no extra supplies - 1 trash bag for 7 days - no batteries in the channel selector - the keypad to the entry wouldn’t allow access because of low battery - among other things and I have stayed here several times - it just wasn’t a pleasant time

We had to reschedule our Fall Break at the last minute. Hurricane Ian destroyed many things, including our plans. I’ve been to Destin dozens of times over the last 30+ years. Great property, very close to Mid-Bay Bridge. Easy to get groceries, go to dinners, and avoid the traffic on the main road. My Brother in Law wants to buy this property. He fell in love immediately.

The only problem was the sofa bed had dirty sheets on it and the grill only worked on one side and they need more pots and pans

Property was lovely, plenty of space with great bedrooms/bathrooms. All necessary items were in the house making it a home from home. Super close to pool and beautiful beach.

Perfect family vacation!

We loved everything about this our stay! The home was beautiful and well appointed! In a great location with everything we needed for every member of our family from toddler to senior! It was very clean and up to date. We arrived late but getting in was no problem. Highly recommend and we will stay again!

Summer getaway 2021

Shell yeah! The neighborhood is pretty quiet. The lagoon pool is nice but can get crowded at times. The beach is just a short 10 minute walk. The property itself is good aside from the banging of garbage disposal that wakes us up almost every morning from the business behind the property. I will definitely recommend the property but just be aware of the noise youll hear in the morning. If not for that,this place is definitely 5/5.

Perfect family house

Some complained about the noise behind the house. 3 business garbage bins being emptied daily. The bedroom in front never heard it. The back bedrooms definitely hear it but it was 4:30am every morning for about 15 minutes,not all night. We used a sound machine to help. We had deep sleepers so it didn’t effect us to bad. House was very clean and had the necessity’s to cook a meal. There was both a regular coffee pot (bring coffee filters) and a Keurig. Biggest issue was the beach the shuttle takes you to has a very small section for public use. So there was no where to set up for a day at the beach, do to so many people on such a small stretch of beach. Drive down to the beach around the Crap Trap to have a day at the beach. We did come in June which is one of the busiest times of the year. Bring a baby gate if you have little ones! We didn’t bring one thinking the house would have one and constantly we’re finding things to block the stairs from the 2 year old.

Nice home area loud

The home was spacious and for the most part clean. Minus very dirty floors- shoes were a must- some mildew in the bathroom, broken glass on the rug, and a broken piece of trim in the kitchen. Where this home was located was very close to the dumpster site- we were awoken every morning at 3am by obnoxious slamming of the metal bins.

Would NOT stay again....

My family of 6 kids and 2 adults would not choose to stay here again due to the disruption from businesses located behind the home. My family was awoken every morning to extremely mound banging and crashing from Waste Management picking up trash, the later recycling from the businesses located directly behind the home. We were startled awake each morning around at 4:30 am and 5:30 am..... While the home was safe, comfortable for a family of 8 (including a baby), and a convenient location for pool & beach the excessively early morning disruptions is enough to keep us away in the future.

Excellent vacation rental but VERY noisy in the morning

The rental was very clean, well decorated, and plenty of room for our group of 5 adults and 3 children. Major drawback was a waste disposal service located was so loud every morning behind the house it woke all the adults and children up between 4am and 5am EVERY morning. I would go back to Villages of Crystal Beach but not this particular rental because of that.
