A delightful stay
We recently stayed at this beautiful property in Barmouth and had a truly memorable experience. The house is spacious, full of character, and offers amazing views. Its location is great, just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and drinkeries.Each bedroom had its own unique style, but still felt cosy, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, perfect for our group who enjoys cooking. We only missed a blender, as we love making soups, this is just a personal preference though, not a fault.A few small issues to note: the dining room would benefit with curtains for privacy and warmth, and the living room curtains could do with a refresh. One of the radiators in our bedroom didn’t work, however this has been reported and will be rectified, thankfully the weather was mild during our stay. There was a slight draught in some front bedrooms despite them being double glazed.Nick, the owner, was responsive and helpful, which we appreciated. However, on two occassions he entered the property unannounced while we were inside. On a third occasion, a repair was done while we were out, though I did later see the email Nick had sent I had not responded before the repair was carried out. We didn’t raise it at the time, but it did feel like a privacy concern.Overall, the house was lovely and in a fantastic location. I would recommend a stay here.
