We had our dream wedding at Villa Teresa and it wouldn’t have been possible without Francesca’s amazing support and the perfect location. The villa is gorgeous - we loved watching the sunrises and sunsets from the roof terrace! The extra activities are perfect, amazing wine tour and cooking class. Us and our guests loved getting to know her and she helped us have the best time of our lives! We made life long memories here

We had an amazing stay here in August 2025. We are a big group of 20 people across 4 families (kids aged 10 - 18). More than enough space for everyone with plenty of ensuites. Kids had the whole of the top floor which they loved. Outdoor space is really lovely - with amazing views from pool and different sitting and eating areas.You can walk into the village which has some good local restaurants and a small supermarket - the kids really loved the independence of doing this on their own.Francesca was an amazing host - always available but never obtrusive. She arranged three dinners in for us (delicious) as well as helping us to book meals out (definitely visit the Butchers in Panzano) and wine tasting.thanks for such an excellent stay!

Villa Teresa is awesome

The villa is very impressive, almost all bedrooms have king sized beds that are super comfortable. We had 7 couples and the bedrooms are very private with amazing views to the hills beyond. The pool is beautiful and you can walk to Cavriglia for a coffee or a great dinner. Make sure to order a few meals to be prepared by Francesca and her family!

Excellent!

Everything was really excellent - the house, rooms, (we were 22 people), garden, pool, cleaning, contact with host, dinner, extra service, etc! Even how the house is situated was perfect - by itself, but still close to the village.

Incredible house in Tuscany

The place White Amazing. We have Space for everyone ( 15 people ). Very nice set up with the pool outside. Just Wow !! Francesca was helpful with us and i would return there anytime.

Perfect Birthday Celebration for a Large Group

We stayed at Villa Teresa for 7 days for my husbands 30th birthday celebration with 17 friends and family. Francesca was an expert host, extremely responsive and kind. She coordinated everything seamlessly and we are so grateful for the work she put into making our stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Highly recommend Villa Teresa for any vacation! We miss the pool and Ray!

Wonderful Stay

Loved our time at Villa Teresa. Beautiful house and gardens, wonderful pool. Plenty of dining seating, garden seating and lounge chairs by the pool. Very accommodating and warm host and incredible olive oil they produce. Should have had more dinners prepared by our hosts as the food was delicious (and no prep/cleanup). Hope to find our way back again soon!

Fabulous Experience

The Villa Teresa was an absolute dream vacation (despite it raining almost every day!). From the moment we drove up to the stately villa and we’re greeted by our hosts to the day we left, everything was wonderful. The villa itself was perfect for our large group - everyone had enough space to get some quiet time but the main rooms accommodated our large group perfectly. The pool is situated with an incredible view of the countryside. We just wish the sun would have come out to enjoy it more! The villa is a short walk into Cavriglia where there were a few good restaurants and cafes and a grocery store. All in all a perfect vacation under the Tuscan Sun (sometimes🌧️)

Villa Teresa

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Teresa. We are used to high end and what I can say is this is not the Ritz, but in some ways it is very close. Francesca was almost like your own personal concierge - arranged tours, drivers, stocked the house, incredibly responsive and not at all what you would expect from a VRBO. If this is your first time in Tuscany and you want to do it right - stay here. House was charming, pool as advertised and the bbq was fun. Only issue for an American is you won't get the AC as cold as you like, but that's literally it. The outside dining is a must, so much fun. We will be coming back again for sure.

Our family of 15 people just spent a glorious week at Villa Teresa. Everything was beyond perfect. From the ease of finding the villa to the impeccable conditions of both the villa and the property, the friendliness and knowledgeable hosts, to the divine meals we had every night. Francesca was responsive to each and every request and always with a smile. You will not be disappointed spending your vacation at Villa Teresa. It’s ideally located to visit all the top sites, although it will be very difficult for you to leave the property. The villa is immaculately maintained and extremely spacious. More than enough room for all 15 of us (all adults) to enjoy our time together. I highly recommend Villa Teresa as anyone’s choice for the region.

Italian Villa

The facilities are amazing. This is a beautiful LARGE villa with great amenities. The location is perfect for venturing out into the Tuscany countryside. Its about an hour away from Florence by train and an hour from Siena by car. The drive to San Gimignano is spectacular. Plan on getting back from San Gimignano before nightfall because the road is very winding. Francesca, our host, was very helpful and usually would respond quickly with answers to our questions. We did have some communications problems during the planning stages of our trip but all issues were resolved in plenty of time. Francesca was a good resource to help us plan wine tours, sightseeing, and find good restaurants. It would be helpful, however, if there was a guide book that had all this information already available. It would also be helpful if the guidebook contained tips on using the appliances available in the villa.

The week we will never forget

When my husband and I first got engaged, we decided to elope! We knew we wanted a small “backyard wedding”, but also get a vacation out of the place we’d travel to. After scouring the internet for weeks, we stumbled upon Villa Teresa. Between the photos, proximity to the airport, and rave reviews, it was an easy decision to book. From the moment we booked (1.5 years in advance), and even before, the host Francesca was incredibly communicative. She helped us coordinate van services, winery tours, not to mention an entire wedding. Prior to our stay, we also booked special dinners, which are offered by the villa. We had several individuals with a gluten allergy and Francesca made sure to accommodate. All the food was beyond our expectations and the service was incredible. We can’t recommend these extras more they truly enhanced our stay! Our favorite meal was the lemon sage ravioli, which was made during the cooking class. Villa Teresa blew us away and was better than we could have ever imagined. The incredibly spacious and private rooms made it feel as though we had rented not just a house but an entire hotel for our guests. The infinity pool was our favorite place to end the day as we admired the surrounding hills. Villa Teresa was by far the ultimate way to experience Tuscany and we could not recommend it more.

Vacation of a lifetime!!!

Villa Teresa was an absolute dream! From the initial drive up the olive groves to the beautifully manicured gardens, to the rooftop views of Tuscany. The grounds and the house were immaculately kept and we were welcomed by the most gracious and dutiful host Francesca. The meal her and her staff prepared was delicious, authentic and fresh with local flavors and olive oil produced at the Villa. It was by far the best meal our family had in Italy. We especially LOVED the bolognese! The pool area is even more stunning in person. It’s in close proximity to the house and has tables for eating and chairs for lounging. It even has a bathroom and outdoor shower with hot water. Our family didn’t want to leave the house because the pool was so spectacular. We also loved hanging out and eating breakfast on the back balcony and spent the evenings admiring the Tuscan sunsets from the rooftop balcony. With a grocery store close by, we stocked the fridge and did lots of cooking in the fully equipt kitchen. The location was wonderful with easy access to the main roads and the cute town of Montevarchi where we frequented for gelato-also close to many wineries. Air conditioning worked well and was worth a little extra cost. The rooms had plenty of space for hanging and storing clothes and the bathrooms were updated with great shower pressure and plenty of hot water for a house of 16 people. So happy with our decision to stay here and would highly recommend!

This host is not to be trusted

Though the villa grounds were amazing the host Francesca was a nightmare to work with. She provided price quotes In writing for catering (done by her family), the weekly AC (listed in discretion here as .50 euro/kw) and the electric. Once I paid the non/refundable deposit, she raised the prices. Once I paid the full rental she raised them again. The catering was terrible and didn’t provide enough food for guests and after all her price raises wound up being way more then if we eat out. She lied about everything, and would back me into corners knowing I’d have little choice but pay what she charged, like quoting 150-300 for ac, but then when my guests arrived suddenly sending me a text that now it’s gonna be double that. Communication with her was impossible as she was unwilling to listen or be helpful in any way. At checkout our bill was TWICE what we had originally agreed and she refused to honor any of her former pricing. I would NOT risk renting this villa if I were you.

August 2023 stay with family and friends

The villa is in a beautiful setting in a rural section of Eastern Tuscany. Bedrooms and bath’s configuration perfect for our group of 15. We did not use all the beds on the second floor but occupied all bedrooms. As typical, the kitchen is small if you want to cook for a large group but doable. The original kitchen and service entrance is below the ground level and accessed daily by the owners who arrive through a door inside the house. If this creeps you out get over it, the owners are lovely people protecting their property. We had excellent daily housekeeping because we cooked most nights (5/7) plus breakfast and snacks. The owners can arrange for prepared meals if desired but we did not use this service. The pool and grounds are well kept and inviting. The lounge seats and outdoor tables and chairs are substantial and well kept. We spent a lot of time outdoors and used the multiple grills. The local town of Cavriglia is a ten minute walk away and has 3 restaurants. There is a very useful COOP grocery store with most supplies for a quick shop, anything more substantial will require a trip to the enormous COOP in Montevarchi 7 miles away. The neighbors are farmers and have dogs that live outside and occasionally bark at night. I complained one night to the owners about one persistent yapper and I believe a discussion ensued since we were not bothered again. I highly recommend this villa. My family and friends would all return.

We stayed at Villa Teresa for our wedding week and had an amazing time! The villa is even more beautiful than the photos and Francesca is so lovely to work with. The breakfast we had daily was one of the highlights of our stay- would definitely recommend! The rooms were a little cold due to the winter but putting on the heat an hour before bed and buying some slippers solved that. The property is spacious and beautiful, the rooftop views are breathtaking. Will hopefully be back!

Dream Location for Tuscany Getaway

Rent this property for one week gathering with family and friend to celebrate 50th birthday. The villa is better then described in website and pictures posted. We had housekeeping and cooked dinners. Staff is wonderful and Cristina prepared delicious dishes! All guest, young’s and adults, enjoy the stay. Beautiful location, well managed with very friendly and careful owners.

Luxury in Tuscany

5 stars all around, the villa was perfect. The family hosts cooked dinners for us each night - delicious. The pool was welcome after various sight-seeing excursions, quite large and cold. A grocery in town provided breakfast items and, if "home", dinner left-overs made lunch. We hated to leave!

Summer family gathering in Tuscany

Francesca was fantastic. Very helpful, accommodating and went above and beyond on a number of occasions. The property was as advertised. If anything the building and property is larger than I expected from the pictures. We asked for the cooking class and for 3 meals - each was a fantastic experience. The group (young and old, from Canada, Australia and Africa) had nothing but good things to say about the experience.

Dream property

Really loved this amazing house. With plenty of rooms so each family had really nice privacy with its own bathroom. Swimming pool one of the most beautyful i have seen. Fransesca the host was really nice to us, we had a lot questions and inquires to her, and she was always available to help us :). I really hope we will come back to the villa Teresa after this dream vacation.

Dream Wedding at Villa Teresa

My fiancé and I are from the U.S. and had the idea to do a wedding in Tuscany. As I began inquiring about villas in the area, Villa Teresa immediately stood out to me. Francesca was so personal in her responses and provided great details on what could be done on the property. Upon booking and arrival, the property exceeded every expectation. Francesca and her family were there to help with anything we needed (which was quite a bit). The villa is a little less than an hour from the Florence airport and is walking distance from the cutest town where you can find restaurants and groceries. Francesca organized a cooking class for us one night at the villa, she gave us restaurant recommendations, and she helped us navigate the trains for our day trip to Florence. She has a lot of contacts in the area to make your trip as seamless as possible. The wedding day itself was directly out of a fairytale and I could not have done it without her. Her sweet mother even made custom olive oil labels from the property and handed them out as party favors to all the wedding guests with about 24-hours notice! Truly above and beyond. If you're looking for a true tuscan experience with a large group of people, this place will not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

Cooking services
Villa Teresa offer optional cooking services for its guests. I use our products when possible and row materials for the most part coming from neighbouring areas. I personally attend preparation that is usually done in a second staff kitchen in the basement, without using the guest’s kitchen. Meals are serviced under the gazebo or in the dining room.
