We built and completed this property of 38 apartments in 2008 and loved it so much that we kept one of the apartments. Both of our children have spent all their holidays here, we have all learnt to surf, we have been coasteering and hiking and enjoy visiting all the attractions that beautiful Cornwall has to offer. My children have both grown up now and so we no longer need to just come down in the school holidays and are able to enjoy it out of season as well as in season. This apartment is our sanctuary and we are happy to share it with couples and families. it is not suitable for stag and hen parties and not suitable for wheelchairs as we are on the 5th floor and the lift does go wrong rarely.
The development of the A30 now offers a dual carriageway all the way from Exeter which has cut a full half hour off our journey meaning we can get down much quicker and we are within easy flat walking distance of the train station and short 10 min taxi ride from Newquay airport.
We do not have have any reviews yet as this is the first season we are letting our property and are looking forward to welcome guests who we hope will enjoy it as much as we do. this is a magical place for both thrill addicts and those who want to relax and need some space. it is a great place to unwind and take some time out with a wonderful morning walk along the cliffs to blow the cobwebs away.

The location of Rocklands is ideal, it is both close to the beach and yet we can easily walk to the town centre and enjoy the shops and restaurants. There are lots of activities for all to enjoy including fishing, surfing, coasteering, hiking, golfing, surfing, boarding, and building sandcastles and wonderful restaurants and pubs to try
The apartment with its floor to ceiling windows in the lounge is perfect to enjoy the incredible views across the sea, beaches, cliffs and local countryside. Polished marmol floors reflect and enhance the natural light making it a bright open space for you to enjoy.
The bathrooms have been designed with relaxation in mind, there is energy efficient mood lighting, floor to ceiling copper effect tiles, a contemporary styled bath and stand alone shower with oxygenated water - an experience as refreshing as hitting the waves themselves. The kitchen includes all appliances such as fridge, dishwasher and washer drier to make it a home away from home with black granite worktops and gas oven and hob.

The rush of adrenaline as you hit the water on a fresh morning surf... catching a sunset on a summers evening... spotting dolphins and surfers from the comfort of your apartment ... watching storm clouds gather from your perch on the cliff ... its all part of the unique Rocklands 35 coastal experience. No other place is quite like it.
Newquay is all about beach culture and lifestyle and Rocklands 35 is perfectly placed to make the most of what Newquay has to offer. Right underneath you and 133 steps away is Tolcarne Beach, a lovely family beach that has a surf school and some great places to eat.
Jamies Fifteen restaurant is just around the corner in Watergate Bay and the house burger cooked by Ryan at the Little Kahuna restaurant just 200 m into Newquay is delicious.
The cliff that Rocklands is built on creates a unique A frame shaped break known locally as "The Wedge" which provides a pretty special adrenaline rush... try it for yourself or watch the surfers tackling it from the comfort of your apartment.
Down on the beach you can try to find the hidden cave in the rocks that leads right through to Lusty Glaze beach where they have an adventure centre with its 750ft zip wire,abseiling, coasteering and vertical assault corse - up the side of a cliff and a fantastic beach hut bar and cafe but be careful not to get stuck and caught out by the tide!
