Great stay inTenerife

The property fit our family and our Tenerife vacation really well. The small pool was great for the kids for a quick dip before lunch and the 13 meter pool was wonderful and warm during a February visit. We also loved the banana plantation.

Lovely, spacious villa

Very good villa - Three large bedrooms and large living rom, plus plenty of outside space. Small pool in the garden, with a larger shared one available nearby on the finca. Well equipped with comfortable beds and sofas and good quality bed linen and towels.

Wonderful

Very spacious villa for 6 adults, comfortable and well equipped. We all enjoyed our stay here so much, plenty of private outdoor space too for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. Excellent supermarket 10 mins walk away and bus stop for buses to airport and Los Christianos 5 mins from the Finca. We enjoyed the paddle court and large communal swimming pool which was lovely and warm. A bit of noise from the neighbours during our stay, and self check-in was a bit unexpected and no one to meet and greet on arrival, but these did not detract from a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

Lovely villa on a banana plantation in a small local Spanish town.

The villa is spacious and has a lovely outside area with a bbq surrounding a small pool. The finca also has a larger pool and jacuzzi that you can access, along with a paddle court and childrens playground. It is in a quiet location so very peaceful. Some essentials in the kitchen would have been nice - oil, salt and pepper for example. However thete are bananas fresh from the finca by the big pool everyday. Guargacho is a local non-touristy town and has some nice food shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Easy access to nearby coastal areas of Los Galletas, Los Abrigos, Los Christianos and also the mountains. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

Home from home

Our 4th stay at Punta Del Lomo, our first stay at 44 and it will not be the last. The property has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The spaces outside will allow for larger families to have their own space. Loved that the pool is heated, great for cooling down. The kitchen is really well equipped, we had a few nights cooking buying from the local supermarket, great local ingredients, all tbe pans and resources are good quality. The bedrooms are lovely and airy, fans in the rooms helping to cool the inside. Bathrooms beautifully finished. The property was immaculately clean on arrival with bedding and towels changed while we were there. We are hoping to be back in the next couple of months. Great communication with Anna. Highly recommended 🙂

Tenerife's hidden gem

Thank you for the great stay at your villa. The house is nicely but simply finished, equipped in all what you need for your holidays. The only thing could be better is probably the kitchen which is a little dated and would be nice to have even a small dishwasher ( but it wasn't a big problem not having it). Outside area is very spacious with a bath temperature 😊 swimming pool great for the kids. The access to the bigger pool is extra bonus you get which was great for us. The location of the villa couldn't be better if you are looking for safe, tranquil stay on the island, still being able to get around Tenerife easily. The communication with the property manager and accompanying staff very easy and friendly. Overall amazing place to spend your holiday in Tenerife. Next time we will be travelling to the island we won't look further. We know where we would like to stay. Thank you.

Casa 44

Our communication with Ana before we arrived was perfect as were the instructions. She also kindly arranged for our early check in. However, when there we only ever saw the cleaning lady who did her best to be helpful but communicating was difficult given the language difference. 3 good restaurants within easy walking and the property was of good size and the outside space was excellent. The photographs on site need updating as they show two baths and now there are none. Luckily we prefer showers anyway. Unfortunately, there was building work next door which was very noisy at times. Overall, a good stay.

Excellent property and location

This is a really great place to stay and our family of 4 had a brilliant time.You get so much more than what you see with the villa with the extra pool, children's playground, table tennis table and the walk in the banana plantation. The level of communication before and during the trip was excellent and the staff we encountered were friendly and responsiveThe local town has a great selection of restaurants which are set up for locals rather than for mass tourism. This meant the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The location is great enabling you to get to the big tourist areas in under 15 minutes whilst also letting you explore the rest of the island.What we liked- the pool was a great size for our kids and was heated to a temperature that meant you could stay in for as long as you liked- the garden was a lovely place to relax- the house was clean, roomy and provided all the things you needed- the storage shelves in the main living room were really helpful- days out to the illusion museum in Santa Cruz, crazy golf, horse riding in Las Galletas, whale watchind, Monkey land- the view of Teide from the driveway was a real treat- the area has it's own microclimate where you could see lots of cloud in the distance but it always seemed to miss usDrawbacks- ignore instructions to call someone to meet you at the property when you arrive and follow the direct guidance given by the host.- the house is not detached and we could hear noise from next door

Mix of good and bad

Good bits. Very clean easy to find and clear self check in details. Very spacious, lovely little pool, well equipped kitchen comfy beds fresh linen. Great cleaning staff (Tanya) and Oscar the pool man. Very friendly got us more mugs and some fruit and sorted some pool towels for hire. Cleaned the villa halfway through and changed our towels. Bad bits. Did not see or hear from anybody to check in or out or say hello, see if we were ok or needed anything which we felt was poor. Also the villa is a bit tired looking in certain areas and no dishwasher which for the price we paid i would expect. It is actually semi detached so we had quite a bit of noise from next door early and late. We had lots of flies and mosquitoes too probably not helped by being on a banana plantation!

Fabulous place

We loved this place from the moment we drove in through the gates. The accommodation was spacious and clean and very welcoming. The pool was quite cool – but that’s exactly how we like it – and not overlooked. The big central pool was lovely and although it did get a bit busy on one day (no free loungers – shock horror) other days we were the only ones there. We were joined by our family (including 2 granddaughters 9 and 5) and we all loved wandering through the banana plantation and seeing the cut bananas being cleaned and packed. The girls loved the play park just outside our front door (with another one just up the road next to the school) and also the paddle tennis court which reception provided the bats and balls. We made full use of the BBQ and ate next to the pool most days – although we had a bit of a problem with the mechanism initially. This is a good time to mention that although we had a few issues when we first arrived these were sorted very quickly when reported to Ana – the maintenance man was excellent (he also cleaned the pool every couple of days) and he was always cheerful. In walking distance just up the road was a BBQ restaurant which had horses and other animals the grandchildren enjoyed and just down the road were a number of cafes and supermarkets, although you would need a car to get to the bigger supermarkets in the area. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would return if we were in the area again.

PERFECT HIDEAWAY

The location is not only ideal for getting around but has some excellent restaurants and a butchers where the steak and pork were amazing. The sea is visible from the main road and there are lots of quiet short cuts to avoid the main roads. It was less than a 10 minute drive to Costa Silencio and the supermarket at West Haven stocked everything we needed plus baguettes up to French standard. The house is large, of a good standard with high ceilings, remote controlled fans, induction hob, large fridge freezer, very comfortable beds and modern shower rooms. We loved the sofa's. A bottle of wine and large bag of ice was amongst the things left for us. The garden is large, completely private and not overlooked. It's illuminated at night as is the pool.The entrance has a high lockable solid gate. A wonderful place to relax with only the chirping canary finches in the trees. So many places to sit and we had sun from 9.30 to 5.30 in February. Number 44 is set apart from the other properties and is at the end of a road of similar smart houses but the entrance has been reconfigured to be part of the Finca. The butcher and one of the restaurants is at the other end of the road. Los Christianos is a 15 min drive. We were so happy to get back and lock the gate after a visit to the busy areas. The house was cleaned mid stay and the pool was cleaned every other day.

La casa bien, pero el precio no se ajusta a lo acordado

Aunque la casa estaba bien, el precio no se ajusta a lo contratado en Vrbo. La Agente Inmobiliaria modificó días antes la reserva y me advirtió, que o pagaba todo, o no podría entrar. Además habían cucarachas y los vecinos hicieron dos dias fiesta,sin descanso.

Experiencia agradable

El alojamiento nos resultó muy adecuado y agradable. Tuvimos una pequeña dificultad en la llegada, debido a un error en el código de acceso, pero con unas llamadas quedó resuelto. La zona es muy tranquila y cumplió nuestras expectativas.

Urlaub mit Einbußen

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, sauber und hell. Die Ausstattung (in der Küche) ist recht spärlich aber ausreichend. Der Außenbereich, Pool und Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und ansprechend. Zwei von drei Bädern sind neu renoviert mit jeweils ebenerdiger Dusche, neuen Waschtisch, WC usw., das Master-Bad ist noch das selbe (alte) wie auf den Bildern (hellgraue Marmor-Optik). Das Sofa im Wohnzimmer ist erfreulicherweise neu, allerdings nicht besonders bequem. TV Gerät (mit vielen auch deutschen und internationalen Sendern) auf dem neuesten Stand. Die Beleuchtung im Haus ist leider nicht sehr gemütlich, fast alle Lampen haben grelles, weißes „Putzlicht“ - das könnte vom Anbieter für einen gemütlicheres Ambiente geändert werden. Die Einrichtung mit Möbeln usw. ist Geschmacksache, wir persönlich fanden es nicht sehr ansprechend und gemütlich, eher funktional. Die Besitzer des Finca-Anwesens waren sehr freundlich und behilflich als zb das W-Lan ausfiel, wurde unmittelbar nach unserer Nachfrage das System neu gestartet und alles funktionierte wieder bestens. Die Agentur (Fr Reid) war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und hat bei allen Fragen oder Anliegen sofort geantwortet oder reagiert. Hierfür nochmals herzlichen Dank! Ein Late - Ceck Out am Abreisetag war nach Rücksprache ebenfalls kein Problem und wurde uns direkt ermöglicht, gracias:) Was leider besonders störend war, ist die Hellhörigkeit im Haus - da das Haus (Nr.44) eine Doppelhaushälfte im Wohngebiet ist, hört man ungewollt und sehr oft die dauerhaft ansässigen Nachbarn von nebenan…vor allem laut und störend in den späten Abendstunden und dann gleich wieder ganz früh morgens ab ca.6:30 Uhr, was langes Schlafen leider unmöglich machte (selbst mit Oropax). Es sei auch noch angemerkt, das sich das Ferienhaus unweit der Einflugschneise des Flughafens befindet und dadurch relativ oft und regelmäßig startende & landende Flugzeuge wahrzunehmen sind (je nach Tag und Zeit). Wenn man also tagsüber auf der Terrasse am Pool liegt und (eigentlich) entspannen möchte, könnte das den ein oder anderen Urlauber manchmal stören. Der Fluglärm ist deutlich zu hören, uns hat es gestört - das geht aber eventuell anderen Urlaubern nicht so, das kann ich nicht einschätzen…. Fazit : Schönes Haus, leider sehr hellhörig und relativ laute Umgebung durch Nachbarn, Straße, Hunde usw…Die Größe, der Service und Preis ist top! Wir suchen uns für den nächsten Teneriffa-Urlaub allerdings eine andere, ruhigere Unterkunft.

Das Appartement bietet beinahe alles was man sich wünscht. Lage ist top, man wird von niemandem gestört, der Pool angenehm beheizt, Wohnung allgemein gut ausgestattet. Hatten einen super sonnigen Urlaub im Februar und kommen gerne wieder!

Fantastic stay! Definitely will return

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home. From the moment we booked the villa our communication with Ana was excellent with lots of tips on the local area and things to do. On arrival the property exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and suited our needs perfectly. We traveled with our two kids, 10 & 11 and they loved the warm pool and the space of the villa. The property is very secure and we used the pool every day and the shared pool on the plantation too which was like an oasis .. we had friends call over to see it and they loved it too. The town is perfect , peaceful and had everything we needed including one shop open 24 hours ! We dined in the Mexican twice and the Italian restaurant and food was lovely. We had a car hired and whilst we visited other areas we loved coming back to the tranquility of the villa . We have booked for later this year, it was so good and hope to return may times. Communication with Ana was first class before and during our stay and the house was cleaned once with fresh towels delivered twice.. pool was cleaned every other day ! We loved it ! Thank you Ana

Sehr schöne Herbstferien

Objekt hat einen guten Zustand. Die Lage im Ort könnte etwas besser sein. Bei der Abreise war die Kontaktperson leider nicht mehr erreichbar.

After 20 year offering a wide portfolio in Tenerife, I can recognize very easily when a house is going to be sucess if all the important things that travellers apreciate can be founded at the same place: privacy, comfort, heated pool, barbacue and walking distance to restaurants. What else?
