We loved our stay at Blackwell Branch Cabin! It was the perfect spring break getaway for our family. The cabin was very clean with all the amenities we needed. The location on the creek was peaceful and serene. Our kids loved fishing in the pond and exploring the trails. We cannot wait to go back! Truly a wonderful experience.

Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful property with trails, rivers, and fishing ponds. We could not have been happier with our stay. It was all the little details and thoughtful touches that made this place so special, from the handpicked flowers from the field to the fresh strawberries waiting in the refrigerator when we arrived. The owners are an absolutely lovely couple, and you can truly feel the care and pride they put into both the property and the guest experience. Simply breathtaking. We will absolutely be back again.

This was the cleanness VRBO I have ever stayed in and it was stocked with every utensil, and amenities you could need. We had an amazing stay!! The property is absolutely beautiful and secluded, but close to town and Ingles, etc. The creek is fantastic.

Honeymoon get away

The location was close to many different things to do. The creek was so relaxing to listen to while outside enjoying the beautiful weather. It was the perfect place for us.

Great Getaway!

Really enjoyed the stay here. Being able to hear the river from the porch and catching a few fish in the pond made for a memorable weekend. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Awesome stay

Beautiful cabin/property with amazing stream in the back yard. Owner was nice and cabin had everything needed for a 4 day stay.. highlight was the nature trail and the DEER!

Peaceful

We have stayed at the Blackwell Branch Cabin several times. We love coming her to reset and recharge. Linda and Jorge have thought of everything. I highly recommend Blackwell Branch Cabin to anyone who needs rest and relaxation.

Quick weekend getaway

Lovely Owner/Host. Attentive but not intrusive. The setting is very tranquil with a rushing creek in the backyard. Loved reading on the deck or in a hammock by the creek listening to the babbling water. Very relaxing!

The cabin was in a great location. Very clean upon arrival. Linda made check-in and the run through of the property very simple. Would definitely recommend to any nature lovers.

Just what we were looking for

We rent a cabin in the mountains every Labor Day weekend. We were very pleased with this cabin and location- very clean, well maintained, and the creek was awesome. Our kids enjoyed the playhouse, playing in the creek, catching critters and fishing in the pond.

As advertised

The property was just as advertised, if not better. My only complaint is that we were so busy doing day trip activities that I didn't have a day to just stay at the cabin and enjoy.

Absolutely Perfect!

The location is perfect! My son loved fishing and Cooper the dog loved swimming in the pond. Lots of trails to walk around the 2 ponds. We did smore by the fire pit. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need and very organized. The grill was clean and nice. They provided fresh strawberries, cider, crackers (these are yummy) & fresh flowers. We will be coming back!

Peaceful

This was our third time staying at Blackwell Branch cabin and it definitely will not be our last. The cabin is very clean and well stocked. Jorge makes the prettiest flower arrangements. Our favorite part is sitting by the creek reading a book or lying in the hammock. The sound of the creek soothes the soul. I highly recommend Blackwell Branch to anyone who is looking to relax and destress.

Wonderful, relaxing location

The location is the perfect place to step away from the grind. The creek out the back provides a relaxing back drop. The temperature is so nice under the trees. We enjoyed the firepit by the creek. The kitchen is stocked with most any cooking items you need. Linda's hospitality is top notch. She provided a special treat with fresh strawberries, sparkling cider, crackers, and even fresh flowers. Our family highly recommends!!

Beautiful mountain hideaway

Thank you Linda and Jorge for creating such a beautiful and well-equipped place for us to stay! Very cool and relaxing during the summer heat! Enjoyed our time in the creek and fishing in the pond and watching/naming the wildlife. We had never stayed in SW NC mountains and enjoyed getting to know Hayesville and N GA was only minutes away. But I can't say enough about our hosts - they were available for any question and so generous with time and great recommendations. Hope we can come back again sometime and will recommend to others wholeheartedly.

Absolutely Amazing!!

From arrival to departure our family had an amazing time. The property was private, beautiful and there were many trails to enjoy, a pond for fishing and a beautiful creek. When we first arrived we were greeted by Linda and given a tour of the house. She had fresh picked flowers, a bottle of sparkling apple cider, a treat from a popular local store and even a few dog treats for our pup waiting for us. The cabin was so clean and organized and the house was stocked with everything we would need for our stay. There were so many special touches including filled bird and squirrel feeders, dry firewood, plenty of outside seating and so much more. Linda provided great communication and so much information about the surrounding area and recommended fun things to do. We loved the app too. We will look forward to visiting again!

5 Stars - Our Perfect Place!

We had a wonderful experience that was above and beyond any other vacation rental!! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches inside and out. A home away from home! The location was ideal…beautiful, peaceful and serene. Nothing better than sitting under nature’s canopy while drinking our morning coffee and hearing the running creek water. We fished the creek and the pond everyday. Linda and Jorge were very friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. They are incredibly thoughtful…fresh cut flowers, a welcome gift, an anniversary card and sweets, a guidebook with lots of information (places to eat, see, and hike), etc. You can tell they truly care about making guests feel welcome and at home. We’re already planning our next stay. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free, and wonderful getaway!

Texas traveler

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the forest! The kids had a great time splashing in the creek that runs behind the house and the older ones enjoyed canoeing and fishing in the nearby lake. Our little dog had fun swimming after the ducks in the pond ( of course she never did catch up to them). The house was very nice and neat with lots of open space, loved the wrap around porch where we had breakfast and coffee in the cool mornings. We had fun making smores in the outdoor fire pit. The little ones had a great time playing in the tree house. I can't say enough about how helpful Linda and Jorge were. Linda provided bedding and a kennel for our little dog, so even she got the special treatment. I highly recommend a stay here and hope our family can make it back next year.

We very much appreciate your comments! We've only had the cabin since March, and we worked very hard to get it ship-shape. Since it's only been on VRBO since the first of May, our guests comments are very important in helping other folks when they're trying to plan a visit to our little corner of the mountains.
