Rooms were clean, spacious and bins got emptied everyday. Host and in particular, the neighbour who looks after the property were fantastic and really helped us out with getting us a local taxi to the airport when our rebooked Uber let us down (don’t rely on Uber while in Corfu!). Short walk to port of Lefkimmi where there are some excellent boat tours (shout out to Captain Theo). Sunrise Pool round the corner was also a fantastic pool with some great food & drink choices at very reasonable prices. We also got the shuttle bus to Aqualand from a stop approx 15 mins away which was also a smooth experience. There was also a convenience store around 15 min walk away which kept us well stocked. Our family had a wonderful stay so thank you to our hosts!

Lovely property but the area not so much

We booked to stay for one week. We had a warm welcome and brief instructions with landlord. The property was lovely, clean and ok equipped, beautiful garden with seats, fireflies in the night and peaceful neighbourhood with not much light pollution. The area was not so great. Beach is 1 minute walk away but there's too much seaweed on the shore so you can not swim. Before I booked, I enquired about local swimming pools being opened upon our arrival and were reassured there are pools we can use. Arriving late May, all pools were still closed. We were all very disappointed. There are no shops, no bars nor restaurants within walking distance of the house. You need a car to get to these. If one is planning to do day trips and doesn't mind the surroundings the place is of good standard. We left after the first night as this wasn't what we were looking for and believe the advertisement is somewhat deceiving. Nevertheless, despite contacting the owner, I have not hear back.

It's sad that someone writes lies! The one pool next to the beach bar was open. The beach in front had been cleaned. There were 2 restaurants - cafes open within a 5' - 10' walk. 1 supermarket within a 3'-4' walk. The lady in question didn't even bother to ask but found the time to write an unacceptable comment full of inaccuracies and lies. It's also sad for the hosts that such unfair comments are written despite all the efforts they make to ensure that their guests have the best possible stay.

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings

The hosts were so lovely and welcoming. Very close to the beach and a lovely pool bar that serves food too. About 30minute walk in to main town or a short taxi ride.

The above review is totally opposed to reality and truth. Let's look at one by one the points that Ms. B. touches: - A / C: I reminded Ms. B. by mail 1 week before her check in of what was mentioned on the site about air conditioning (extra cost) and sent her the relative link. Many times, clients do not read carefully the description and details of the services provided by each house, so that problems arise. -The pool near the house had not yet been opened, but we had another (snack bar) very close and next to a beautiful beach with no seaweeds (3 minutes walk). I quote the e-mail that Ms. B sent me: "Good evening, We are very well installed and the apartment is very good, but I would like to know where is the common pool with its bar that we can use? Thank you cordially Ms. B. " And my answer:" Good evening Ms. B., the pool next to the house does not seem to be working this summer. But you can use the pool - Snack Bar "SUNRISE" on the beach. The bar staff is very nice ". Truly, Theo". - That does not match the truth with the mosquitoes. Mosquitoes can not enter with closed windows. On the other hand, the house has insect repellents. - The road to Κavos is 150 meters away, so it is a bit difficult to hear all that noise mentioned by Ms. B. The area is quiet and no other guests have complained. - All the negatives mentioned above by Mrs. B. seem to be her reaction to the extra cost of air conditioning. In the mail she sent me (1 mail) she writes: "Good evening, We are very well installed and the apartment is very good, but I would like to know where is the common pool with its bar that we can use? Thank you cordially Mrs B. " Nothing else. No problem! Merci Cordialement Mme B." Rien d'autre. Pas de problème!
