Petaloudes is located on the edge of Kamilari on the quiet South coast of Crete, 2.5 km from the kilometer-long sandy beach of Kommos and 2.5 km from the ancient Phaistos palace.
From the large terraces Petaloudes you can enjoy a wonderful view of the village, the Libyan Sea, the mountains and the fertile Messaravallei.
For the people who use a wheelchair there is a large apartment available on the ground floor. (Petaloudes 2, house number 8373039)
For those who enjoy good and cheap food and drink, swimming and sunbathing, a boat trip, hiking, archeology, museums, visiting the cheerful gypsy markets, Petaloudes as a base is highly recommended.
It is a source of peace for those who want to leave the stress behind or want to discover Crete at their own pace.
Here you can find the genuine hospitality and the simple beauty of the authentic Crete.
Nearby: Definitely worth visiting Matala, hippie village in the 60s and 70s! With its beautiful sandy beach and the Roman cave houses, the cozy shops and taverns you can still feel the atmosphere of the 'Flower Power' in the bay of Matala.
From the picturesque village of Agia Galini you can make beautiful boat trips or a day of fishing with. There are also snorkeling - and surfing.

In this large, comfortable apartment there is a full kitchen including microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, ..., a pleasant living room, 2 spacious bedrooms with dressing room, bedside tables and reading lamps, large bathroom with bath / shower, closet with mirror and lavabo, washing machine, separate toilet, a spacious covered terrace with sea, mountain and Messara valley views, a large terrace at the front where you can relax in the spring, autumn and winter. There is air conditioning and heating. Each window has a mosquito net and shutters. Around the pool are nice terraces with seats, sunbeds, tables, chairs and parasols. There is also a convenient outdoor shower. There is free parking for our guests at the house.
The pool is polished with organic products.
Groups (families, hikers, cyclists, spirits, musicians, ...) up to 6 people can book Petaloudes and Petaloudes 2 in the same period.

Perfekte Wohnung für unseren Aufenhalt im Süden Kretas

Die Wohnung ist super gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Wir haben es geliebt auf der schönen Terrasse mit Weitblick zu frühstücken und in den Tag zu starten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und helfen bei allen Fragen. Wir können einen Aufenthalt bei Rita und Paul wirklich weiterempfehlen!

Schöner Urlaub in Kamilari

Sauberes und großes Appartment wo wir alles was man braucht vorfanden. Der Pool verschaffte uns herrliche Abkühlung. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gute Lage, in der Nähe tolle Restaurants. Ein Auto sollte man aber unbedingt haben. Die Südküste Kretas ist einfach ein Traum!

Uitstekend locatie, fijn apartement!

Kamilari is een gezellig klein dorpje voorzien van een praktische supermarkt en een paar heerlijke restaurants. Het appartement is ruim, licht en voorzien van alle gemakken. De hostess is ongelofelijk aardig en weet veel van de lokale omgeving; mooie stranden, bezienswaardigheden en goede restaurants. Er is een zwembad met een klein badje eraan vast, ideaal voor kinderen. Bovendien is er een tuin om in te ontspannen. Het apt ligt in een rustig stuk van kamilari, dus geen last van verkeer of drukte/ lawaai. Aanrader!

Hein en zijn familie zijn heerlijke gasten. Ook tonen ze veel interesse in de omgeving en het leven hier op Kreta. We willen hen hierbij ook danken om het appartement zo netjes achter te laten.

Région superbe, maison impeccable et bien placée.

Rita parle français et c'est bien pratique, surtout qu'elle et son mari habitent juste à côté, et qu'ils se rendent disponible pour toute question ou conseils sur la région. La maison est très agréable ainsi que la piscine. Juste la deuxième chambre est dans la partie commune, qui est très grande. Je conseille cette location.

Caroline à resté dans l'appartement au réz-de-chaussée (70 m2). Ils sont des gens très sympathiques et respectueux. Ils ont quitté l'appartement très propre!

Excellent sejour

Villa bien équipée, tres agréable avec ces 2 terrasses, de grands dressing dans les chambres sejour spacieux, linge fourni avec piscine située au calme et a proximité du supermarché et des restaurants. Rita la propriétaire est une personne charmante. nous avons passé un agréable a kamilari. A recommander++++

Mooi appartement met schitterend uitzicht.

Heerlijk appartement met fijn balkon met schitterend uitzicht. Echt heel mooi. We hadden het appartement met 2 slaapkamers. In een heel leuk nog echt Grieks dorpje. Met hele leuke en lekkere tavernes op loopafstand. Ook is er een kleine supermarkt in het dorp waar je alles kan kopen. Ook het zwembad was fijn en schoon met fijne stoelen en ligbedden. We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad.
