Great Location

We had a lovely time in Vernazza and the rental was stocked with everything that we needed while we were there. It was very comfortable and right in the heart of town!

Perfect Location

The location of this property was an easy walk from the train station and to the sea. The listing prepared us for the steep stairs up four stories. We enjoyed the balcony and view of the beautiful city.

Wonderful stay!

The property was wonderful! The balcony was spectacular as well. It was the perfect place to explore Cinque Terre. Wonderful location and home! We really appreciated the hospitality basket upon arrival!

Great location in Varenna

This unit was spacious and very well situated. As others have noted, there are a lot of steep steps to get up to the unit, but after you get your luggage up there, the steps are not a huge problem if you are in moderate shape.Being on the main street in Varenna and just a 5 minute walk from the train station is great. And the fact the unit is about four stories up limits the noise heard from the street. And there is a sunscreen on the balcony which really helps on a sunny afternoon.

From this high point at the rooftops of Vernazza we were able to enjoy all the Cinque Terre has to offer. Conveniently located between train station and town beach.

Vernazza stay

Wow amazing central location. Very clean modern apartment. Love love the terrace. 2 bathrooms made it very comfy for us and 2 daughters. The stairs were a challenge and we are very fit people. But it’s CT so get ready for stairs!

Nice apartment

Everything was as described including 4 flights of steep steps. It is in the middle of Varnazza close to everything. The AC worked well on a quite hot day so no worries about staying cool.

Almost great

We loved the location and the cleanliness and aesthetic of this apartment. There is one AC in the master bedroom and one in the kitchen. The kitchen AC was broken. The property manager was aware it was broken when we checked in, and it was not fixed during our 3 night stay. We would have liked to have been told and given the option to find a different place. This is a top floor apartment and it was HOT. The WiFi did not work during our stay. If these two important items were working, it would have been great.

Recanissu is a GREAT Vernazza Stay

Recanissu is a great location in the wonderful Italian region of the Cinque Terre! The apartment was as promoted on VRBO, it was clean, and it was in a great location within the town of Vernazza. It worked well for our travel group, because it offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen/eating area is good-sized and well-equipped. We enjoy cooking, so this is an important criterion when we book. The apartment is on the building's top floor, and has a terrace accessible from the kitchen and the main bedroom that overlooks the main street through town. You see and hear daytime activities, but the town is quiet at night. Cinque Terra Riviera (CTR) is great to work with when booking and getting questions answered. When we arrived, there was a very nice package of focaccia breads and sparkling wine on the table! During our stay, we had a question about the oven, and when CTR came by they not only fixed the situation (it was a VERY simple fix- we had accidentally turned off the power to the oven!), but also they changed out the linens. Great service! Our travel partner had recently had ankle surgery, and the stairs up and down to the apartment were a concern when we arrived. However, after a day or two in the apartment, she was navigating the stairs without issue or concern. We highly recommend staying at Recanissu when you stay in Vernazza.

Belle Vernazza!

The location was great, quiet and clean. We loved sitting on the outside deck overlooking the main street of Vernazza. The apartment was spacious and provided everything we needed. We even washed our laundry and hung it to dry right outside our bedroom. The only caution is the steps. There are quite a few and the last set of stairs is very steep. But, you won't find many places in Vernazza without steps to climb. If you can handle the stairs, this place is well worth it!

A cozy apartment in Vernazza

We enjoyed our stay at Recanissu Apartment. The location was very central but the stairs... oh my. We were traveling with my in-laws who are in their 70's and getting up and down these stairs was quite a challenge for them. So much so, once my mother-in-law got up there, she didn't want to come back down. Bringing luggage up and down them was even more of a challenge. Thankfully, there is a porter service offered at the train station which I would highly recommend for anyone who isn't super strong or has more than a backpack in terms of luggage. We know that is one of the challenges of staying in the Cinque Terre. I don't believe any of the apartments there have elevators (I've never seen one) and many of the apartments are on the 4th of 5th floor. Aside from the stairs, the apartment was very nice. The furnishings were beautiful and the kitchen was functional but lacked some basics to make meals. There are a lot of good, inexpensive food options right outside the front door though. The check in process was easy and the management company was helpful. Overall it was a good stay.
