Family friendly quiet not as close to river access but definitely recommend I would stay again on hospitality alone

The closest river access is Cane Bottom, about 1.5 miles from the house, it's open May 1-Sept 29 and has no facilities. There is river access in Meramec State Park at the boat ramp and picnic area about 6 miles from the house. (open year round) which has facilities, bathrooms, picnic tables.

Clean house in a nice, quiet neighborhood and great location, so close to Meramec State Park! Communication with Deb, the host, was a breeze—she responds very quickly. Super budget-friendly, too—great house at a great price!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet retreat. We are vegetarian and were able to bring our own food to prepare in the awesome kitchen. We even ate breakfast on the back deck on the one sunny day that we had. Deer paraded by just to entertain. The close proximity to the caverns and St Louis makes it a great home base for day trips. Loved the fire pit, also.
