Always a great time!!

This is our 2nd year staying at the property. Absolutely love it there. The Staff is super nice there and always helpful. Feels like our home away from home. The owner is always great with us and always so nice. Thank you for another great stay.

You could not ask for a more relaxing and accommodating place! Wonderful condo with excellent amenities! Everything from the comfortable king size bed to the amazing view to the hot tub and the beach! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat for families or a romantic getaway for couples!

Wonderful property, great hosts

Emerald Isle was amazing. The staff was professional and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pools, beach, and the well-kept facilities. The view from the balcony of this condo is just incredible. And the unit itself had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Bunty and Raj are terrific hosts, and the communication about the the condo and check-in were perfect.

Beautiful view, 18th floor, 2 beach chairs and umbrella provided. Furniture could be updated or cleaned, same with linens and towels. Nice condo on the beach!

Nice Condo!

This condo was overall very nice. The photos on the listing could be updated to better demonstrate the property. The balcony was large and had seating for everyone. I would definitely recommend this property to others. It is a little far from Pineapple Willys area but other than that everything was great. Mikes restaurant across the road was very good and quick during the busy spring break week.

Family getaway

Within our group we had four condos at Emerald Isle. Ours was the only one that wasn’t recently updated. I expected the dark furnishings from the photos but think we would prefer a lighter, brighter interior when we return next year. The glassware looked dirty so I had to prewash everything before using it. Of course, we still had a wonderful time!

This condo was very nice for the view,,,we had an issue with the tv in the living area, that never was totally resolved. Mr Bunty obviously has no one to call to do his repairs. The entire condo needs a thorough cleaning and more towels..I hate to be negative but these were glaring issues..

Room was a little dirty but no big deal my biggest problem was with property was the gym was extremely hot no air-conditioning and property manager was extremely rude threatened to kick us out of gym accused us of dropping weights we didn't once drop weights tried to explain but she didn't listen for me the gym is a big deal I've been working out for years won't be staying here again because of that

Luxurious and Comfortable?

Emerald Isle Condominiums is a lovely resort and we found all the staff we were in contact with to be friendly and helpful. The building itself was well kept and clean. Our unit on the otherhand was advertised as luxurious and comfortable; no need to bring beach equipment, because all would be furnished. Not true. The unit looked as though it had NOT been cleaned; we put all kitchen items we would use through the dishwasher and wiped out the drawers. Food crumbs were found under the table and in the drawers. The master bath shower liner was disgusting; all painted woodwork was chipped and in much need of paint. Screen in bedroom was off and leaning up against the window. The TV in spare bedroom never worked, And the washing machine smelled really bad . We could have easily overlooked the outdatedness of the decor had the unit been cleaned with a fresh coat of paint. Give us a blank check and two weeks' stay and we will have that condo looking great again.

Great condo & beach but, a few details to know

The condo was large and accommodated our four adults fine. The balcony is large & 18th floor provides great views. But: 1) Prior to arriving I emailed the property manager asking if beach chairs are available. He responded with a 1/2 page rant. He'll respond to this saying I'm wrong somehow but look at his response to other reviews. Noting is his fault, it's all of us that are wrong. 2) The building provides 2 beach chairs already on the beach. There is only one adult beach chair in this condo closet and it is rusty and hard to get to as the closet is piled high with years of old beach stuff. 3) Others have complained there is no hot water in the master shower. We figured it out. The hot & cold were installed backwards so turn the cold on for a hot shower. 4) We take a trip like this every year & this is the first beach condo that did not have beach towels provided. It seems to be a small investment by the condo owner but instead we hauled bulky beach towels for 1,600 miles. Overall - It was a nice place but we were nervous with a hot tempered property manager we did not know what would suddenly be our fault. He'll reply that I did something wrong or no reply. That's his style. I've added him to my prayer list and hope he finds peace in his life.

BEWARE of renting here!

I was to be at this property 9/28-10/1. However, I’m in the Ft Myers area and a hurricane was due to hit us…and did! I started calling the owner, Bunty, prior to the storm, to let him know I would not be able to come because of the hurricane. Left messages and even called VRBO to see if they could reach him. They ended up leaving him a message as well. Finally, in the middle of a Cat 4 hurricane, I got a call. Bunty said I couldn’t get money back but I could have another date. I asked for 3/24-3/27. But he stated that was high season. . .he had to talk to his accountant… But would call me back after the hurricane. Then he called me and accused me of being at the property! And if I wasn’t there, I must have given the code to someone else because I was the only one that had the code. Ft Myers was totally flooded, torn apart by the hurricane and roads impassable. I couldn’t of gotten there if I tried! At this point, I figured he was just trying to rip me off! I don’t recommend renting from him! He may accuse you of something you didn’t do and you end up having to pay. I’m giving this property a 1 rating based on extremely poor customer service! BEWARE!

Misleading advertising!!!!!

If you are college kids just wanting some place to lay your head...this is the perfect place. Pictures on listing are misleading. Owner aware of broken shower. Aware toilet doesn't flush correctly...didn't fix it. Still broken from May when another tenant complained. Says no smoking, found cigarette packs on balcony. Balcony is disgusting. Very dirty. Furniture not what is shown in picture. Lamps inside and out rewired to have click switch on it Very dangerous. Washer smells like sewage. Dryer tears up clothing due to lint trap. You can tell toilets have leaked in the past. You can see and smell it. Trash in second bedroom all over floor up against beds. Beds are on the floor. Cable doesn't work in second bedroom either. Blood found on bedsheet by cleaning crew. Owner accused us of stains. Had I seen it I would have thrown a fit. Overall...condo is basically swept and mopped and that is all. This isn't including the fact that the building itself is not up to pare. We have stayed here in the past...seems to have went downhill. Thanks to storm the elevators didn't work our first few days. Building manager yelled at guest to not press on buttons so much...turned out to be an electrical issue- trapping guest. When we reached out to owner in regards to everything we had noticed (so that we didn't get charged) his response was to involve his personal issues. Also blaming cleaning crew. Overall dirty condo. Misrepresented.

We are four partners (Atul, Bunty, Raj and Ravi) primary friends and neighbors that love the beach and used to jointly go to Panama City Beach quite frequently. We are all engineers by profession and live in Duluth GA.

We go to the beach so often and enjoy the tropical weather. On one of our trips we had a chance to see Emerald Isle when they had opened up for sale. We were all impressed by:
1. The BALCONY - it is the only building in PCB with such a huge balcony (300 sq. ft approx).
2. The quality of the construction.
3. Located on the Quiet Side (West Side) of Panam City Beach.
4. Proximity to Pier Park - just 1.6 miles west of our condo.
5. Just 5 minutes to Hombre Golf Course.

We spend a lot of time on the balcony - if we are not on the beach itself. We all enjoy a nice wine on the balcony and like to watch the most stunning sun sets and full moons from the balcony.
We have hence invested a lot of money in good furniture indoors and on the balcony.
We have all that we need and can still attend to our jobs if we have to while we are at the beach.
Its our home away from home - come stay with us and you will see why !
