Great villa

One of a kind villa, great location to airport. Owner rents moped which is handy to get to the shops and beaches near by. The villa has everything you would need, loved the pool table and large swimming pool. Lots of fans and AC, washing machine and a robot!! Highly recommended

Not for us

The Villa is fascinating, with some great vintage cars, creative art everywhere, a mini tourist attraction, our host was welcoming, and helpful. Those are the highs, the bedding was terrible, needs replacing, mattress's all stained, hot tub doesn't get to temperature, no matter what you are told, some contents in the fridge 2/3 years out of date, half the toilets do not flush. On departure, wife left a substantial amount of cash under her pillow, in a small cardboard box ( no safe) we contacted the host, we were told this " The housekeeper found the box, and threw it in the garbage, the garbage was collected today, she didn't notice the £1000 in it, I trust her all Thai people are honest" the housekeeper is the owners girlfriend, yes our fault for leaving behind, everyone else can make their own minds up on the remaining information

Hi First the bedding is New, 6 months old with a topper New on top, maybe too soft for you... The jacuzzi was heating until 36, After stop because too hot, sorry if you want hamman, i Come specially to put heater on. In villa, WE have a safe for customer, why you don t use it? And you text me you forget a box with money 2 days after...if i forget money, i réalize it in the hour, not day after...and yes i trust thaï people to be honest, i never have a problèm in 8 years.... For fridge, i leave some ketchup, jelly for customer, jelly is New in box, not expiréd... For toilet, WE have 4 in villa, and one one is full of paper, WE fix it, sorry but last customer do Bad with toilet, and we see After. I am sorry you re not happy, but 99% of comment for my villa is only positive, i have never have problèm...

Unexpected checkin experience

This villa is funky and unique just as the listing describes and definitely matches the pictures. The pool was great and the art work/decorations were interesting. However, on arrival we were asked to leave a passport with the owner as a deposit for the entirety of our stay, therefore one of us would have not had our passport on us whilst in the country which is not allowed for foreigners. In the listing it states that identification may be required on arrival and, which is normal when staying in hotels and houses and they will usually take a copy, however, I have never been asked to leave them as collateral. We were not made aware of this before the stay otherwise we would not have booked. After refusing to leave the passport, we instead agreed to leave a 20,000 baht ($850 aud) deposit in cash, leaving us unable to use this money during our stay like we had intended. Again, a cash deposit is completely normal whilst travelling, however, I have always been told an amount BEFORE checkin if it exceeded $300. This negative checkin experience overshadowed the whole stay and we were stressing that we were not going to receive our deposit amount back as the whole interaction seemed irregular. The owner was extremely welcoming and was very prompt with any assistance we needed whilst staying at this villa. Overall, the stay was as expected and the villa matched its’ description. The only downfall in the villa is the lack of privacy, as some of the showers are only curtained off.

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry about deposit, but everybody never complain to leave original passport for deposit. And you give me cash , and i give you back at check out. You must understand than i have many expensive artistic stuff in my villa, why i need a deposit. My villa is 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, , 2 bathrooms has doors, and 2 bathrooms has curtains, because open space, it s the style of the villa... Hope to see you next time Your welcome

Unique home

Lou was accommodating and knowledgeable on places to go and helped set up tours, car rentals, dining experiences and some really interesting facts about the area. The house is a must see in itself...an overall pleasant experience....thanks lou lou
