Hi Emily Thank you for your review. The pool could of been heated for you, but you declined the service. Pool heat is recommended between October and March. As you say, there is a Walmart 5 minutes away, the villa is self catering, although there are limited provisions supplied. Thanks again! Gary

Unfortunately, as with all villas in Florida, it is not possible to have A/C in the Garage/Games room, we do provide fans to help. Thank you for bringing the notices to our attention. Hi Lori-Mari Thank you very much for your kind review, it is very much appreciated and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. In relation to the comment regarding the pool. The problem stemmed from the late request and payment of pool heating (Day prior to arrival). The management company were informed that we were awaiting payment, but we expected it imminently. We would normally turn the pool heat on at least the day prior to arrival, during a pre-guest inspection of the villa. Unfortunately, due to the unseasonably low temperatures at the time of your stay, all pools struggled to maintain the heat during the night. Hi Christina I have tried contacting you numerous times without success. As you are aware, at no point did you contact the management company about any of your issues, this is exactly what they are there for. I'll try to answer each of your issues as you raised them. The trash was never left out by the previous guest on the day of your arrival, which was our collection day. The cleaner removed some of the trash to allow room for your use until the next scheduled trash collection. The villa was cleaned as normal by our usual cleaner, at no time did you comment regarding this during your stay. The foosball table comment is very confusing, both the management company and me agree there are no such issues, the table is assembled correctly and always has been. The grill is listed in the amenities, but it clearly says, available to hire locally (Our insurance will not allow for us to provide our own due to being liable for injuries). The temperature is the villa is set to 74 for guests arrival, guests may lower this to their own ideal setting (normally between 71 to 73). We have pest control on hand for any issues, as you correctly say, it is Florida, bug capitol of the world. If you would have reported any of the above issues during your stay, our management would have address them very quickly, unfortunately you never once called them during your stay to report any of the above.

We encourage guests to make honest and genuine reviews regarding their rental expierience with ourselves and the property, unfortunately in this instance, the review submitted is simply not true. I would encourage future guests to read our previous excellent reviews for a fair assessment of our villa. The heading of the review should say everything (100% honest review????). The guest initally contacted us commenting on the low temperature of the pool. We immediately contacted our management company who attended within a couple of hours. Kayleigh from our management company observed a number of children jump out of the pool and enter the villa. After speaking with the guest, they advised that the pool water level was slightly low from the chilren splashing around, which was resulting in the pool heater cutting in and out when people were using the pool. The guest was advised to keep the pool topped up with water to prevent the heater switching on and off intermittently. After this visit no more concerns or complaints were raised by the guests. Only after departing the villa did the guest again contact us to say the pool was too cold to use for the adults, but the children had been using it. On receiving this comment, we immediatly asked our management company to again attend to see if the pool heater was working correctly. As persumed, the water temparature was reading 88 degrees farenheight and was set to reach 90 degrees farenheiht, so slightly low, but expected as the current daytime temperature was in the 50's. The management company checked the heater on a daily basis over the next 5 days to be sure there wasn't a problem, each day the tempature of the pool varied between 88 and 90 degrees dependant on the outside heat, which is normal. Following a number further emails from the guest it was felt that comments were being made to encourage us to return all of the pool heating fee in return for a better guest review score. As the pool heater was working correctly, people were observed using the pool, they had admitted using the pool, we advised the guest there would be no full refund. Following informing them of this they quickly submitted the above negative review. If the pool heater was found to not be working correctly then we would of course instructed a full refund (as we have do so once in the past, when a childs bathing suit and plastic bag had blocked the water heater intake). We consider ourselves very responsible and considerate owners, but we will not be held to ransom for the return of a 5 star review. Unfortunately, we can't let one review spoil the many hours of hard work that goes in each week delivering a memorable expierience for all of our guests.
