wonderful experience

the facility offers every comfort, the paddel court is an exclusive and the pool is really great. I recommend this place to families and companies of friends. Also the village of peniscola and the sea have nothing to envy to more rennomated locations

Wonderful experience

The roomy house was perfect for the 8 people and two dogs in our group, and the indoor terrace was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was clean and convenient. The house is located within walking distance of the castle, old town and the center of Peniscola. The paddle court was a huge bonus and very appreciated by everyone in our group. The hosts were very helpful and addressed any issues quickly. We highly recommend staying here!

Lovely spacious villa and pool in a quiet neighbourhood

Maria was really kind and helpful in contacting and greeting us, as we were diverted to Reus airport on our arrival day. She messaged regularly to advise us and was there to greet us and show us around when we finally reached the villa. The villa is very spacious, light and airy (we were a group of 7: our 4 grown up/teenage children and my elderly mother) and we were all able to enjoy our own space to relax on the many sofas and easy chairs. Everyone loved the pool and we spent many happy hours swimming and relaxing, and sunbathing. The nearly Mercadona is fabulous and has everything you could need for a stay. We also enjoyed walking the 10 minutes into Peñiscola to eat and browse. The old town around the Castillo is absolutely beautiful and fascinating. We also enjoyed using the bikes to go off and explore the local area. We had an absolutely wonderful holiday and would recommend the villa to anyone. Thank you so much, Maria and Guillermo. Xx

Schönes Anwesen in guter Lage

Waren 14 Tage mit 3 Erwachsenen und 5 Teenagern dort. Der Pool ist richtig schön groß, so dass man auch mal ein paar Bahnen schwimmen konnte. Die Paddle-Tennis-Anlage war für uns ideal. Machte viel Spaß. Am Abend sogar mit Flutlichtanlage bis 22 Uhr (wegen der Nachbarn) nutzbar. Das Haus an sich ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber schön groß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man zum Zubereiten von einfachen Mahlzeiten benötigt. Gäbe es noch eine Klimaanlage und eine Spülmaschine wäre es absolut perfekt. Immerhin gibt es im Hauptschlafzimmer einen starken Deckenventilator und 2 tragbare Ventilatoren für die anderen Schlafzimmer. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und zu jeder Zeit ansprechbar bei Problemchen oder fehlenden bzw. defekten Dingen. (Beschädigte Liegen wurden für uns innerhalb von 1 Std. ausgetauscht.) Der alte Ortskern um das Kastell (ca. 2 km entfernt vom Haus) ist sehr sehenswert. Viele nette Bars, Restaurants und kleine Geschäfte. Ansonsten im "modernen" Peniscola viele große Bettenburgen, Hotels und Appartementhäuser. Möchte man von dort aus andere größere Städte anschauen, muss man bis Valencia oder Tarragona fahren. Beide sind 150 km entfernt. Im nahegelegenen Naturschutzgebiet kann man aber prima wandern oder mountainbiken. Dort gibt es auch viele kleine Buchten, in denen man (fast allein) baden kann. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen!

On a passé de très bonnes vacances. On remercie les hôtes pour ce beau moment !! Seul point que l’on pourrait reprocher c’est que l’habitation est à 20-25 minutes à pied de la plage, ce qui n’était pas annoncé sur la publication.

Séjour à Peniscola

La maison est très agréable, mais le problème c'est que le descriptif ne correspond pas à la réalité, pas de wifi, pas de four, les plombs qui sautent constamment et la plaque de cuisson qui marche une fois sur deux, à notre arrivée pas d'eau chaude et pas de chauffage j'ai dû quotidiennement écrire au propriétaire qui certes venait rapidement ne me disantr que ça allait être régler mais rien ne se passait au final nous sommes restés 10 jours et seulement 3 jours de wifi et pas d'évolution côté cuisine étant parti avec deux jeunes enfants cela a été compliqué et la cuisine n'est pas bien équipée non plus. Déçue par rapport au prix de la maison il faudrait que le descriptif corresponde.

Buenos dias , la verdad no entiendo nada este comoentario tan desafortunado , al cabo de diez dias de abandonar la propiedad. En todo momento tuvimos una relacion muy coordial, solucionando cualquier incidencia al momento lo cual queda reflejado en los whatsapp , que nos pasamos. De hecho confraternizamos con ellos les invitamos a la fiesta de la alcachofa que se realiza en Benicarlo y les regalamos un obsequio de alcahofas con Denominacion de Origen Protegida de Benicarlo. Gastaron los 60 GB del Wifi y les proprcionamos otro wifi, con mas megas que gastaron rapidamente. Por la molestias les liberamos de la limpieza de la casa (Es grande) y solamente limpiaron la cocina y los aseos. Pero simepre tuvimos una relacion muy coordial. Como he dicho anteriormente no entiendo a los diez dias ese comentario tan negativo , creo que esta fuera de lugar y d e plazo.

Péniscola chez Maria et Guillermo

Accueil parfait des propriétaires. Disponibles et serviables à la moindre demande. Villa très bien située à 15 minutes à pieds de la plage, 25 ' du centre. Location avec de grands espaces à l'étage. Cuisine correcte mais sans lave vaisselle, par contre 1 grand frigo-congélateur, plus un second dans le garage et encore un petit dans ce même garage. . Grand salon avec des baies dominant le jardin et la piscine et avec vue sur Peniscola. La maison est faite pour 8 personnes or nous étions 9, donc un lit d'appoint impossible à mettre dans une chambre. Lit installé dans le salon... Quartier calme avec une super-marché à 3minutes à pied. A noter, nous avions réservé pour 15 jours et au bout de la première semaine tout le linge de maison a été changé (serviettes de toilettes, draps, torchons) Seul bémol les 2 derniers jours nous avons eu la visite de blattes... Mais le séjour reste un très bon souvenir.

Late Summer Break

We had an excellent family holiday at this splendid villa. Maria the charming owner of the property was very helpful and friendly. The villa is extremely well equipped but lacked a kettle which is vital to us tea drinking Brits ! A word with Maria and a new kettle was there almost immediately - excellent service. I have no hesitation in recommending this villa for a perfect family holiday but a car is a must. It is possible to walk into town ( about 30 mins ) but there is a bit of a climb back to the property.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus

Wir haben eine Woche zu Viert hier im Ferienhaus verbracht. (3 Erwachsene, 1 Kind) Besonders toll fanden wir den großen Garten mit Pool und der Wintergarten im 1. OG mit riesigen Panoramafenstern, von denen man einen schönen Blick nach unten bis zum Meer hat. Mit den bereitgestellten Leihfahrrädern ist man in 2 min im großen Supermarkt Mercadona, was wir sehr praktisch fanden. Auch wenn das Wetter im Juni bei uns nicht so gut war (3 bewölkte und kühle Tage von 7), haben wir dank der netten Unterkunft den Urlaub dennoch genossen. Eine richtige Bettdecke hätte ich mir nur gewünscht, denn mit nur einem dünnen Leintuch waren die Nächte doch sehr kalt.

De belles vacances

Grande maison, très propre. Formidable accueil et disponibilité de Guillermo. Piscine immense et bien entretenue. De multiples arbres sur le terrain, et gazon bien vert. Logement bien équipé en vaisselle. Coin Barbecue. 2 machine à laver dans le logement (idéal pour 2 familles avec enfants). Guillermo a mis à notre disposition (et gratuitement) 2 vélos neufs pendant notre séjour : idéal pour réaliser les petites courses du quotidien. Les draps et les serviettes sont changés toutes les semaines. Nous avons découvert les joies du Paddle pendant notre séjour. Il ne manque qu'un lave-vaisselle dans le logement. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

A wonderful house, pool, ball court and location

We stayed in this house with 2 late teenage, early 20's boys. We loved the pool which is large and clean, and steps at one end to walk into easily and the boys loved the paddle court - like a mini tennis court with high netting. They actually just messed around there with a football, but it gave them something to do between other things. There is also a good table tennis table in the garage for more sporting activities out of the sun. The house has a lovely conservatory with floor to ceiling windows which slide open and there are superb views of the sea and bay. Parking is no problem on the road just outside the house. There is a large, modern supermarket with everything 5 minutes walk from the house, with a large car park if you need to buy a lot of things. The house is just off the main entry road into Peniscola so it's easy to access and get out again when going on excursions. There is no noise from the road, the house is in a quiet area. No disturbances. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and live in a neighbouring town if there are any problems ( which there weren't). Peniscola is in walking distance, and is an interesting location with old city, wide promenade, lots of restaurants and shops. You can drive for 5 or 10 minutes to the beach further along the bay where parking is relatively easy and the beach is less crowded. The sea and beach are both beautifully clean.
