Delightfully situated in a tranquil rural setting. Both gites/Apartments are fully equipped and furnished to a high standard and personally prepared for you by the owners. Combined the two adjoining Gites offer a unique arrangement for up to 8 friends and family to enjoy independent living space when required. Also suitable for couples/retired with it's peaceful surroundings. Alongside there is a beautiful pool for you to enjoy. New for 2024 we have an adults only B&B pool room under the gites/Apartments, beautifully decorated to a high standard with its own ensuite shower room which is perfect for family such as grandparents or friends wishing to join you on your holiday (additional cost of €95 pp/pn) pool is opened end of May to the end of October. The property is situated down a quiet country lane and the views all around us are of rolling hills & valleys where local farmers graze their cattle, and woodland filled with wildlife. It is truly beautiful all through the year.
Watch the birds of prey overhead & at night gaze at the sky with it's abundance of stars, truly beautiful. The river Lot in the Aveyron is just 20 minutes drive away, kayaking and lot's of activities for all the family to enjoy. During the summer months there are lot's of local festivals, Bastille day is one of the most spectacular, with a meal on the river bank at Grand Varbre, music & dancing & a fantastic firework display. The gites/Apartments have lots of tourist information on our very quaint villages like Entraygues, Conques, Estaing and many more for you to explore. Walking & cycling. we are very fortunate to have a Deer park in our Village of Junhac.

Fantastic Stay!

We received a lovely welcome from Gary and Denise - wine and home-made bread was a lovely touch! The setting for the gite is stunning, it was immaculately presented and has everything that you could want including very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The views from the bedrooms and terrace were wonderful and time spent by the lovely pool was much enjoyed. Our three boys (11, 14 and 15) really enjoyed the pool and the games room – everyone’s table tennis skills have improved no end! We were joined on our holiday by our parents who rented the attached gite (Le Coin Perdu) next door. This worked out really well, as we were able to go next door for a meal on the terrace, or invite them over to ours for breakfast, etc. In summary, we loved it! We would thoroughly recommend a stay at this beautiful location, and hope to return ourselves.

Endroit magique !

L'emplacement est ideal, la vue est magnifique et l'environnement très calme. Le gîte et son terrain sont décorés avec soin et goût, il y a de plus tout ce qu'il faut pour y passer un très bon séjour (piscine, salle de jeux pour les petits et grands, barbecue...) Merci encore à vous pour votre accueil très chaleureux.

Un séjour formidable

Le gîte est splendide et très calme. Quel bonheur d'ouvrir les volets le matin et d'avoir cette vue sur la vallée ! Les hôtes, Garry et Denise sont très gentils et toujours de bons conseils pour faire découvrir la région. Merci beaucoup à eux pour ces magnifiques vacances ! Nous allons maintenant nous remémorer cette semaine en nous régalant des fruits du magestueux noyer ombrageant les jeux pour enfants.

Séjour enchanteur et tranquille

Le gîte est situé dans un hameau tranquille, a 5 min en voiture de Junhac et 15 min des commerces principaux (boulangerie, boucherie, marché,…) L’arrivée au gîte se fait par un charmant jardin très fleuri et ombragé. Le gîte était parfait pour 4 et très bien équipé. Terrasse ombragée à l’arrière donnant sur la colline et les prés. 2 chambres avec une superbe vue sur la vallée. Observation des oiseaux de proie. Dépaysement garanti. Grande piscine très agréable en été. Plusieurs espaces de détente et de farniente dans le jardin. Accueil chaleureux et avisé de Denise et Gary, toujours disponibles et de bon conseil. La région fourmille de belles balades sur le Causse et dans la vallée du Lot et de la Truyere. Une belle découverte.

Excellent séjour

Tout était parfait! Gary et Denise sont charmants, accueillants et sympathiques. Le gîte est calme, superbe, confortable et la description de l'annonce est tout à fait conforme à la réalité. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine, la salle de jeux, la campagne environnante sans oublier Deano, le teckel de Denise et Gary. Exploit remarquable pour ces 2 petits parisiens : ils n'ont même pas regardé la TV !!!

Dès l'arrivée, nous avons été charmés par le lieu où tous est réalisé avec goût et recherche du bien être des hôtes. Ce fut bien trop court et nous sommes tous décidés à revenir profiter et à faire de notre belle expérience à nos familles et amis pour qu'ils puissent à leur tour bénéficier du confort des gîtes et de la disponibilité des hôtes. par exemple, une visite improvisée pour l'enfant de 3 ans du poulailler et l'installation spéciale d'une mini piscine et de jeux d'eau à son intention... Un petit coin de paradis

Propriété très bien tenue et environnement relaxant. Beaucoup de visites et de balades dans les environs. Gary et Denise sont adorables, discrets et font tout pour que le séjour se passe bien. Nous y reviendrons et nous conseillons vivement "la belle châtaigne". Awesome place !!!!

Jardin anglais dans le Cantal avec piscine

Très bon séjour en famille autour de la grande piscine (d’eau légèrement salée) ; le jardin est magnifiquement fleuri, le gîte est propre et la décoration nous fait sentir immédiatement à l’aise. Gary et Denise sont très sympathiques et attentionnés (encore merci d’être venu nous chercher au milieu de la nuit alors que nous étions perdus !) Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Un été a junhac

Très chouette endroit je recommande vivement, Gary et Denise sont charmants. Si vous aimez le calme et la nature pour faire une coupure dans se monde dicté par la vie a 1000 à l heure c'est chez eux qu il faut aller. Même sous une forte Chaleur le climat est top avec ma piscine plus soleil du matin au soir. On y est allez en famille avec des enfants en bas âge ils ont adoré. Je recommande vivement gros bisous a vous Gary et Denise

Week-end Familial

Le gîte est tout simplement magnifique, très bien entretenu, dans un cadre idéal pour un séjour reposant. L'équipement de la maison est irréprochable, il y a tout le nécessaire pour pouvoir cuisiner et se détendre. Denise et Gary sont très accueillant et toujours disponibles. Je recommande leurs gîte et j'y reviendrai sans aucune hésitation. Patrick.

After many visits over many years to France, it was perhaps fate that we would move here. Many people dream of living the dream, Denise and I decided to follow ours and jumped in with both feet. We believe we have found our little piece of heaven here in the Cantal, a lovely old farmhouse with two superb gites/Apartment's, a large swimming pool, games room, Pétanque court and the most delightful views over the countryside you could possibly ask for. Denise and I both like to explore and we are centrally placed to reach the Med, Spain and even Italy. We love the garden and I like to play my guitar, while Denise loves art and is eager to re-ignite her passion for painting. We both have grown up children back in the UK who love to visit, just an hour from Rodez. we love where we live and look forward to it bewitching all our guests.

One minute high on the mountain tops then down again in the valleys and never far from cascading streams and yet beautiful meadows and forests all around. Deep rusty brown Salers Cattle graze and the new roads through the hills and lack of traffic on the roads make this area a pleasure to drive in. Experience the bustle of the local markets and fetes. The beautiful warm (30°) plus summers, balmy evenings, fresh clear clean air, peace and quiet and what is becoming rare indeed in the UK, lots and lots of space. both the spring and autumns vibrant colours make you just stop and catch your breath. And then in winter,you can still sit and eat outside and enjoy alpine blue skies with bright sunshine and the most spectacular sunsets. It makes this truly a special region all year round.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Gites/Apartments one and two both benefit from being next to the pool with glorious views over uninterrupted countryside. Inside there are all the mod cons you should need which include washing machines, dishwashers microwaves, over and above the equipment that you would expect to have normally. There is a games room underneath where you can enjoy a game of ping pong on the full sized table tennis table, also good for the children to get out of the hot summer heat when it gets too hot. There is space to play Pétanque or to just kick back and laze by the pool. If you wish to have a night in there are barbecues and the local good red wine, MARCILLAC is certainly worth sampling. we are only 3km from Montsalvy, where you have all types of shop and the nearest large town is Aurillac which is only 25 mins away. 20 minutes away the is the stunning village of Entraygues with its beautiful architecture right next to the river. Another beautiful village is Conque a must see. We are very fortunate to have a Deer park in our village of Junhac which the children love to visit. Our area is perfect for walkers and cyclists, often we have the Tour de France pass by.
