Its careful and modern decoration define the personality and elegance of this apartment, located in one of the most prestigious areas of Funchal.
Its proximity to the sea and the city gives you space to enjoy the city and cosmopolitan environment during the day and a refreshing swim in the evening!
This apartment has two bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with two single beds, and a living room with a sofa bed. Come with friends or family, you will find that your vacation will be a dream one. This property has a maximum capacity for five people.

The apartment is fully equipped with all amenities and has a free parking space.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
Situated in one of the most prestigious tourist areas of Funchal, this apartment is close to a pleasant promenade, beaches, supermarkets, pharmacies, stores and the Forum Madeira shopping center, which has several international brands and movie theaters.
Nearby there are several bars and restaurants where you can delight yourself with our gastronomy or with international cuisine. Besides the closest options, you can also go to Funchal city center (five minutes by car) where you will find a larger variety of restaurants.
Praia Formosa beach is about two kilometers away from the apartment, perfect for swimming and sunbathing on the black sand.

TRANSPORT
For departures and arrivals from the airport, there is an aerobus stop about 2 minutes from the house. For departures and arrivals from the airport, the best option to reach the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport!

OTHER REMARKS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not booked within a maximum of 48 hours, guests will be subject to our staff's availability.
- All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers, and fire blanket in every property.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

One of the best places I've stayed at

The location near Forum and a private parking space were super convenient. The apartment was nice and cozy. Kitchen was equipped well enough and the balcony was a great plus as too.

Highly recommended

Very well located with a shopping mall 2 minutes away, with lots of restaurants, supermarkets, and coffee shops nearby. Close to the beach and easy access to Funchal centre by bus. Very clean and fully equipped. Nice and responsive staff. Decio was excellent in helping us promptly with any queries we had. The property could have benefitted from air conditioning but there were 3 fans that could help with the heat at night. Overall, excellent place, highly recommended.

L'appartement est bien situé dans une zone commerciale où l'on trouve tout à proximité (commerces, restaurants....). Il dispose d'un parking souterrain ce qui est très pratique. Il est bien équipé et propre. Cependant, il est très mal isolé, sans climatisation (il fait plus chaud à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur). Il donne sur une rue très passagère et bruyante (circulation, restaurant au-dessous de l'appartement). Enfin, il n'est pas dans le centre de Funchal (plus de 4 km soit une heure de marche). La voiture est donc indispensable sinon il faut utiliser les transports en commun pour se rendre dans le centre.

Adequate but could be so much better.....

We choose this apartment because of its location. As with most accommodation it had its good and bad points which I have tried to outline fairly below. It is reasonably priced, which is important if you are intending to stay for an extended period, as we were. The apartment is bright, well laid out and had all the usual kitchen aids you would expect but the crockery could do with a bit of an overhaul. We had one or two issues with appliances ‘tripping’ the electricity when turned on. Suspect they had been dropped and damaged and had not been reported prior to us getting there but they were replaced fairly swiftly when reported. We found it to be quite a warm apartment and never used the heaters provided. There was plenty of hot water and the towels and sheets were changed once a week by the cleaning staff. However, there were some negatives. The apartment looked ‘grubby’. I know you do not expect a rental property to be as clean as your home but you do expect a reasonable standard, especially as it displays the ‘safe and clean’ sticker on the rental booking form and you cannot gain access until 4 p.m. to allow for ‘extra cleaning’. All I can say is the cleaners must have missed this property out as our first task was to pop to the supermarket and buy cleaning products. Please don’t get me wrong, I am not some type of cleaning freak, I don’t have OCD but I do not expect dirty fingermarks on doors, walls and tables. The dining table was so filthy it took 4 times scrubbing it to get it clean enough to eat from. The cushion covers on the sofa were so dirty I could not bear to touch them, other than to remove them to wash them (I have photos of the water colour). Generally, the whole apartment is overdue for redecorating and soft furnishings need replacing. The weekly clean is hardly sufficient to do anything other than scratch the surface and it requires a good, deep clean. There are issues with building maintenance and the lifts. Sadly, I cannot recommend.

Гарне розташування - через дорогу супермаркет та торгівельний центр. Поруч багато кафе та ресторанів. Підземний паркінг. П'ять хвилин на авто до чудового пляжу. Зручні ліжка. В квартирі все не нове - меблі, сантехніка, побутова техніка, але нормальної якості. Тверда четвірка по п'ятибальній системі.

Ajuda II Funchal enjoy

Apartment is situated in the new part of Funchal. Close to the shopping mall, cinema, shops, restaurants and bakery. The apartment is very cosy, bright and well equipped. In the kitchen we found everything what we needed. There is a washing machine and dishwasher. WiFi is good but the signal in bedrooms could be better. What is the most important there is a private parking place in the building. We enjoy our stay very much.

Extremly good value for money

Modern, spacious and very practical interior. The bedrooms are on the quiet side of the building, the beds are very comfortable. The living room is spacious, from the balcony you can observe the busy local life with a partial sea view in the background. A shopping centre is just on the corner with a lot of services, but also small local shops are around. The apartment has its own covered parking space, also frequent bus connections are available to the city centre. The property management is responsive and provides a full set of information.

Boa Localização mas limpeza fraca

A limpeza não foi feita durante as 2 semanas que estivemos alojados, supostamente devido ao covid-19. Houveram alugueres nesta fase de pandemia que fizeram limpeza... Não percebo! O comando da TV não estava bom e pedi durante as duas semanas para trocarem pilhas e nada foi feito. Boa localização mas na próxima escolho outro local.

Maravillosa estancia

Apartamento equipado con todo lo necesario para sentirse como en casa. Muy bien localizado, a pesar de no estar en el centro de Funchal cuenta con muchos servicios próximos de panadería, frutería, centro comercial, bares.... El tener aparcamiento propio es tambien un punto a favor pues toda la calle es zona azul para estacionar. Volvería a repetir si de nuevo visitamos Madeira.
