Loved the house, had a wonderful time with family and friends. The house had everything you could possibly want. However the pool was not so great, it was a green cloudy colour for the two weeks we were there.

Great place for a hot summer stay

We enjoyed this spacious house, comfortable sofas, excellent TV (for Paris Olympics). Well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ. Best of all was the lovely pool. The basement table tennis was a hit with our boys. The photos don’t do it justice!

Very comfortable villa, good sized bathrooms and pretty much everything you needed. Pool was lovely but a lot of shade in the afternoon. Really liked that you could walk into Ceret which is a lively town with a great market. We had great days out - beaches at Couillore, visit to Castelnou (prettiest village in France) and a short trip on the Little yellow train. Was easy to find something for everyone or just staying put and soaking up the sun.

Belles prestations

Belle maison, vraiment pour 8 personnes, bien équipée, au calme. Propriété bien placée près du centre ville. Mise à disposition de plans de randonnée 👍. N’hésitez pas !

Lovely holiday at this lovely house

The property has plenty of character and was very comfortable. With good size bedrooms and bathrooms and a well equipped modern kitchen. The house is well maintained and near enough to the centre of Ceret to be convenient, about 15 mins walk. A great pool area with welcome shade provided by mature trees in the afternoon. A good location for a family holiday. We would be very happy to recommend this property.

We love this beautiful region of Southern France and have enjoyed many family holidays at our house in Ceret. Since purchasing the house we have had a pool installed and have updated the kitchen/diner and the bathrooms. We have also enlarged the front terrace to create a wonderful sunny area overlooking the pool and with mountain views. We find the terrace to be a perfect place to relax, and to enjoy a glass of the local wine in the evening.

We are delighted by the positive feedback we receive from our guests, especially from our repeat bookers.

Ceret is well situated as there is easy access to the long, sandy French Mediterranean beaches, with beach bars and restaurants and all types of water sports. Alternatively you can drive over the border and visit the sandy coves and white-washed resorts of the Costa Brava. Inland the countryside is beautiful with walking and riding in the mountain ranges, plus olive groves and cherry orchards.

Ceret is a lively town and everyone comes into the centre of town on a Saturday morning for the market where there is a breathtaking display of local produce . Depending on the season, taste the cherries, nectarines, apricots and melons.
At the end of May there is a cherry harvest festival. The main festival is in mid July when there is much dancing and drinking. There is a well known Museum of Modern Art in the centre of town, with work by the Fauvists, Cubists and Surrealists. On Tuesday evening during the summer season there is a craft market .

The house is detached and has a well established garden including a lemon tree, olive tree, lavender and mimosa. The pool is a good size (10m x4m x 1.54m depth). It is surrounded by a pool deck with sun loungers, and there is a lockable safety fence.
The house is spacious with 4 bedrooms and 2 updated bathrooms. There is optic fibre WI-FI. There is a large cellar with a table tennis table .

この宿泊施設の特徴

The villa is located on the edge of town so the shops and restaurants of Ceret are within easy walking distance. The area is wonderful for cyclists, with a “voie verte” running along the valley. A stage of the 2021 Tour de France started in Ceret and passed in front of the villa.

There are so many places to visit in the local area (both in France and in Spain) but the villa is also a perfect place for relaxing beside the pool, or on the terrace.
