Hi Steve, Thank you again for staying with us at Holiday Surf & Racquet Club. We are sorry to hear that you had a couple of issues with your stay. HSRC appreciate the feedback that you have given, as it helps us to try to effectively communicate more clearly with our guest about the polices in place. We do ask for the sliding glass to remain close behind you as you go in and out to the balcony due to the issues that can be caused to the AC units. As you know we have all guest sign and acknowledge the house rules at check in to ensure everyone can be on the same page. Certain times of the year Destin gets very hot and we have preventive measures in place to protect the HVAC system as it can be timely and costly to fix. We do hope this helps clears up any concerns about the sliding glass door and temperature polices. You are a valued guest and we do hope to have the chance to host you again.
