The outside was rather unattractive looking & untidy.

The outside was rather unattractive looking & untidy. The inside looked as if some work had just been partially completed (in the bathroom. It was cute inside but the TV service did not work, not able to connect to internet with any of the 2 suggestions by owner. Just not a happy experience only stayed one night out of two booked. Requested a refund for second night but no response from owner!!

Day of her arrival she contacted me at 11:15 a.m. to request an early check-in. The current guest had not even left. It was downhill from the time of her arrival. We send a QR code to all incoming guests. The television is equipped with Roku. All guests have access to Netflix ,Hulu and Prime. The cabin is clean and well equipped. The guest made many complaints about lack of cell phone service. I have no control over the guests inability to access services. I also have no control over their cell phone carrier. She informed me the next morning that she was leaving and wanted a refund for the night she did not stay. I did respond but she did not like my response. Please take a look at previous reviews on this site, Google and Airbnb before you make a decision about her comments. With other vacation rental sites we have over 255 star reviews on this property. My wife and I put a lot of effort in making our cabins welcoming and comfortable. I wish Miss Moore all the best in her future stays with someone else.

Best place to stay in the area!

We have stayed multiple places in the area on frequent weekend trips. This is the only place we will stay in the future! Cecil is everything and more that a host should be. He upgraded us for free, let us check out super late, made sure we we had whatever we needed, and uses thoughtful personal touches. We felt so welcomed. The cabins are immaculate, updated, cozy and comfortable. They are decorated very tastefully. The bed was so comfy! We enjoyed making our meals in the kitchen. Our dog loved the enclosed deck. I can't say enough about how Cecil made our weekend so special. A++++

Amazing Experience!

This property was just darling and perfect for just my partner and I! So many accommodations within the cabin were given and communication with Cecil was amazing! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is just wanting a little getaway!

Convenient & Quiet Location!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay with our dogs while looking at property in the area. We were cozy & had everything we needed. The owner communicates very well & doesn’t charge outrageous fees like most. We will be back!

Nice getaway

Cute little cabin with anything we needed for a night away from normal life,even had a greeter cat that my wife fell in love with.

Nice cabin!

after "home away" gave us a scare us by over booking it was good. The poor owner had to scramble to move people around. It was a pain in the ass for him (Cecil)....He had a very nice welcoming family. He made sure we had everything we needed...the cabin itself was very nice, was surprised how nice the interior was. we'd come back in a minute and probably will. Were from central florida, this was a nice break for us....don't use home away! Thank you Cecil!!!

Wonderful stay!

Prior to our trip there was a temporary problem with the cabin we were going to stay in. No problem at all they notified us ahead of time and provided other accommodations that were outstanding! The view was beautiful and the cabin was so clean and homey. They had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. We will be back.

We actually didn't stay at this one. He had problems with the water, so moved us to a different one. Which was a nice cabin. Not as secluded as we hoped. Mattress on the floor, in the loft with sloped roof, made it a little difficult for standing. No curtains on the window in the loft for privacy. No screen on loft window, to open window, no a/c to cool down cabin, (window unit not installed) and no fans to circulate air. Everything was ok.

Cute Comfortable Cabin

My wife and I really enjoyed our mountain getaway in this cute cabin. The cabin looks rustic on the outside but has all the modern conviences and amenities to make your stay comfortable. My wife and I had a great time exploring the area and there was so much to see and do. Cecil was very helpful with suggestions and directions to what Johnson County and the surrounding area has to offer. Many thanks to Cecil and his wonderful family for helping make great memories. We are looking forward to our next stay here. Tom & Jo

Everything you could hope for and more!!!

I must admit I was a little skeptical of such a small cabin and the price seemed to good to be true. There are so many great things to say about this property it is hard to begin. The cabin is easy to get to from county roads but still gives a great feel of being in the mountains and away from city life. Cecil was our host and was a great asset from our initial reservation, and continued throughout our stay. He is very knowledgeable about the area.His family manages this property and several others. It is clear that they are proud of what they do and have a great respect for East Tennessee! The accommodations were high quality and exceeded our expectations.
