We had a fabulous stay at this apartment. It was extremely spacious for 4 adults and 2 children. The location was perfect and short walk to all the locations.When we arrived, we did not realize that a window was left open in one bedroom and unfortunately some mosquitos got in. One note when using the shared washer and dryer is that the dryer has a water tank that should be emptied out after a few cycles. We did not realize and struggled with some damp clothes. All in all, this was an amazing apartment to stay! Highly recommended!

If I could give this a negative rating, I would. The place was not clean. There was dust under the beds and furniture, mold in cubbards, blood stains on the sheets and the mold smell was unbearable. We also only hot water 1 1/2 days of the 5 day stay. When we first checked in, we asked to move to another property and that was not accommodated. We asked them to clean and the only thing they did was change the sheets on the one bed with blood stains. They did not make any of the other beds, empty the trash to sweep under the beds. When we booked the room, we specifically inquired about the mildew smell and was told that it had been resolved but the only thing that was done was to put air fresheners in the apartment. The patio was disgusting. We asked for the furniture cushions and asked them to clean and it never happened. Also, it was listed with 2 double beds and it turns out that one is a pull out couch and the the mattress is so thin, you can feel the frame of the bed. The furniture was dirty and disgusting. When we reported the hot water issue, we were told that the entire building had hot water and we were mistaken. It turns out, that after they actually looked into it, the entire boiler had shut down and flooded. I would recommend you stay as far away from this rental as possible if you want to have a pleasant stay in Florence.

I do not recommend this place. Pictures are old - likely when property was fresh and clean. Couch and chair are now heavily soiled. Patio area is dirty. Entire unit smelled musty, mildewy and dank. Multiple air fresheners we situated in each room as if they were clearly trying to compensate - it didn’t work. No one to greet us upon arrival. Hot tub, main reason we reserved this place, was broken one week prior and basement flooded. We were not told of this change prior to our arrival. In fact, when I messaged the host asking how to turn on the hot tub, he actually had the gall to give me instructions without informing me that it was broken and would not heat up. Clearly the flooding issue was the source of the mildew smell. I also messaged him asking for extra towels - we had hung 2 towels on the clothes drying rack provided on the patio so they could air out. When we returned that night they were heavily soiled from some unknown “droppings”. He never responded to my request for more towels. I also messaged asking for extra blankets as it was unseasonably cold while we were there - again - no response. He informed us prior to arrival that we needed to pay city taxes in cash only and to leave it on the table the morning after check in so it could be collected. We went out of our way to find an ATM to get euros, left the money as instructed, only to have it sit there for the full stay. It was not collected until the evening before we left. I could write so much more.

Very spacious. Great location. Second bedroom had a pull out couch for the bed instead of a traditional mattress but the private hot tub was a perk!

Location is the only good thing about this place.

When I say location is great, it really is great but everything goes downhill from here. When I first walked into the place it was really humid and had a funky mildew smell. We thought it was because the apartment has been vacant for couple days due to off-peak season. The air conditioner did not function properly and only had heat coming out. As a result after a day or two we started seeing mold in the room and on the walls. The rooms are damp and not enough ventilation so having a pool in the basement made it worse. I really don’t think it’s safe to stay in this unit. There needs to be a mold remediation before opening this place to other guests.

Great location, beautiful apartment, terrible smell

The location of the apartment was excellent and the building itself is very clean and new. Unfortunately, because of poor ventilation with the jacuzzi in the basement, there is a mold problem in the apartment. We found mold on the mattresses and in various areas around the apartment and the smell of mildew (and pool chemicals if we turned on the jacuzzi) was very strong. Other properties from this owner in the same building might be fine, but avoid this listing. After we checked in, I tried contacting the property managers to get moved to another property, but they did nothing to fix the situation. We had a very limited time in Florence, so we just ran the air conditioning as much as possible and tried not to stay in the building any more than necessary.

Nice apartment with disappointing jacuzzi (bad smell)

The apartment is very nice and perfectly located, but there was a big problem with the jacuzzi as the water smelled very bad. After 5 days, we still don´t have any official answer from the owner and we have been told we will receive an answer next 25th of August (aprox. 20 days later). When you offer something must be available and in perfect conditions to be used. Even the bad smell was felt in the apartment. The lady who welcomed us was very nice and always answering our messages. The decoration inside the apartment is very nice, new furniture and good washing and drying machines (shared with other apartments). Because of this disgusting problem, I do not recommend booking this apartment.
