Great and place to stay

Very clean and nice cottage and a remote but ideal location to explore Cornwall. Our kids loved the donkeys and the goats.

Fantastic Country Retreat!

I booked this property on behalf of my parents for an Easter weekend away. Accommodation was spotless, warm and well-equipped. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming as were the furry friends in the barn! Overall, we had a fantastic time and hope to return soon!

Beautiful cottage in family farm

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. The owners have done a great job restoring this property. It is very well equipped and it has very comfortable beds. The property is a lovely holiday letting to spend few days with the family. A quite place where you can only hear the birds. We have grown up kids but it is perfect for small children who would love the animals in the farm.

A perfect cottage to wind down and explore Cornwall

We had an amazing time in the Cottage. On arrival we enjoyed the very tasteful, homemade scones. The landlords are very friendly and easy to communicate with. The kids loved the animal feeding. The animal food was provided in a sweet organized bags from the landlady. It is definitely a place that we can highly recommend!

Lovely cottage in easy reach of everywhere

Great cottage in a very rural and quiet location. Hosts onsite and ready and willing to help. 100% need a car and be confident driving Cornish lanes (think grass down the middle and good reversing skills!) This is the 2nd time we have stayed and its so convenient for the areas of Cornwall we love and so nice to come home to a warm and comfortable cottage.

Cornwall holiday

Lovely place to stay for a relaxed Cornwall holiday in the east of Cornwall around Bodmin. Description fits 100%. Need some minutes to the supermarkets in Bodmin or Waybridge. It was lovely to get some fresh scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Always worth coming back again.

Withiel ist zentral in Cornwall gelegen, so dass wir alle unsere Ziele von dort erreichen konnten. Wir haben die Ruhe und das sehr schöne Ferienhaus genossen.

Very well designed interiors and facilities. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming. One small comment. Needs some low lighting in sitting room area as well as over head lighting. Would recommend to other travellers

A Wonderful week with Friends away

This is the first time we have used Vrbo and I was very pleased to see how easy it was. On this occasion I can say it was exactly as advertised. It was very clean, just as the photos show a beautiful cottage. The owners were on site if needed but left you in peace, just checking all was ok when you arrived. The welcome cream tea was lovely to find waiting on the side. It was nice to see the Donkeys and Goats and even feed them. The cottage was in a good position to visit most attractions about 25 mins from the coast either way. Thank you very much to the hosts Charmion and Charles for a wonderful week and we would defiantly Recommend you try this for your self. We may even revisit.

Peace and Tranquility

A fabulous place to stay out in the countryside. We based ourselves here and all villages in Cornwall are a drivable distance. It was perfect for our Port Isaac visit as we are huge Doc Martin fans. Charmion the owner was available 24/7 to answer any questions and make suggestions. She makes the best Scones in England! The house was spotless, very roomy, (bigger than we thought from the photos) and has everything we needed. We would highly recommend staying here.

Wunderschön 🤩

Das Anwesen liegt abgelegen und wunderschön mitten in Cornwall. Das Haus ist genauso schön wie auf den Bildern. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bei Ankunft gibt es selbst gebackene Scones mit Jam und Clotted Cream 😋 Außerdem liegt Futter für die Esel und Ziegen bereit, die auch dort wohnen. Mit dem Auto kann man alles gut und relativ erreichen. Wir kommen wieder ☺️

A Snug in Deepest Cornwall

Away from the crowds in a very rural location but within easy (car) reach of local towns, the accommodation is first rate, spacious and very comfortable. The chorus of owls at night was amazing.

Lovely cottage

We went as a family of 5 and the cottage was spacious, extremely clean and beds were very comfortable. The welcome scones, milk and water was a lovely gesture. I hadn’t realised how rural it was and it took some time to get used to the narrow country lanes. My only criticism is that it would be useful to have a bigger freezer (it’s only a tiny compartment within the fridge), you can’t even fit a pizza in. The kitchen is well equipped but could have done with a few more dinner plates. But it was nice to have washing up liquid, tea towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets already provided. In all, it’s a really lovely, warm and spacious cottage.
