Maui Vacation

Our stay was wonderful. Any problems we had were dealt with immediately. The view from the unit was wonderful and access to the pool so easy. We would stay here again.

My family and I had an amazing time. The location, people (guests and residents) were wonderful. The condo had everything we needed and more and Miranda was readily available for any property questions. We will most definitely be back.

Great Condo

We love Papakea and really enjoyed this Condo. It was very roomy for what we needed and great location. It had everything we needed as far as towels, beach gear, etc. It may be a bit outdated for some, but perfect for what we wanted. We would definitely rent this condo again!

Amazing Property

The Papakea is an amazing property with gorgeous views, tons of amenities to keep kids entertained, and in a perfect location to walk to the grocery store, Honokowai beach, and food trucks! The staff are incredibly friendly and the property is well maintained. Our room was just perfect for us. Clean, comfy bed, good appliances, and reliable WiFi!

Great family time!

Place was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed, including chairs, cooler, boogie boards, new pans for cooking, bbq supplies etc. We were fine without air conditioning. We just opened the windows and let the breezes cool off the place. Would definitely stay here again

Great location, beautiful property. Condo could use some upgrades and air conditioner but you forgot it all as you sit on the lanai and take in the beautiful view.

Family Maui getaway

Our stay in Maui was absolutely amazing. Definitely a memorable experience. Will loved that we can grill by the pool as our kids are swimming and the fact the the beach was just steps away from our resort. The stores, restaurants and food trucks were also in walking distance. We will be coming back for sure. Mahalo

Third Time to Papakea

This was our family’s third time staying at Papakea. We have stayed in 3 separate units and they are all great. Our stay at G205 was great. Great view and the unit had all we needed. No AC was not an issues as long as your allow for the cross breeze and keep the fans going. Kitchenware such as dishes, glasses, pots and pans, etc could use an updating.

Nice but lacking supplies

Place was great, but very skimpy in supplies: soap, dishwashing & washer pods, garbage bags, toilet paper, foil, etc. Had to go buy more. Neighbors were up with loud voices before 6am every day but VRBO couldn’t do anything about that. Great location & grounds. Nice furnishings in condo.

It was hot

the property was wonderful and so pretty, the only downfall was it was so hot and the units did not have A/C, that can break your trip when you are that hot.

Wonderful Experience

The grounds of the resort were beautiful, clean, and nicely landscaped. Loved that it was so close to the ocean and also had pools and hot tubs. Covered patios with plenty of seating to have lunch outdoors and plenty of lawn chairs. Even shuffleboard & putting. Great experience! Our condo was clean and comfortable. Hot during the day, but we weren’t usually there during the day. The ocean breeze helped cool it off in the evening for sleep. Nice view from the balcony. My host, Miranda, promptly answered my questions prior to our arrival, reached out to me during our stay to see how things were going, and responded very quickly when I asked for some extra pillows and towels. My only suggestions would be for the second bedroom to have a Queen or king bed instead of two twin beds and to have a very lightweight bedspread in each room.

Not super pleased with our specific condo

There was nothing in this condo. We knew wed have to purchase somw items but we had to purchase laundry soap, toilet paper, etc... things we'd use VERY little of during our stay. So, itll be pretty awesome for the next guest. Also, lots of cockroaches. Fridge was broken. Lost quite a bit of our cold groceries before they could get a maintenance person out to fix it. No reimbursement for anynof that. NO AC in this unit made it pretty unbearable in August heat. Then we were there during the hurricane and fire. So we were without power for about 12 hours before we had an incident in the fire, cam back to the resort, still no power. Couldn't get gas. No cell service or wifi. Had to leave a day early to make sure we could catch our flight out with no issues. We dis howver get reimbursed for the one night. Overall, if I were to ever go back, I definitely would not stay in this specific, super outdated condo. Wasnt worth the miney we saved.

We understand there are bugs on the island. We did not think they should be constantly running on the kitchen counters and backsplash. The fans used instead of any a/c could use a serious cleaning. They were filthy. View was nice and rooms nicely appointed.
