Dawn was lovely and accommodating, we got a lovely Scottish welcome package as soon as we arrived, had all the information booklets we needed to run the cottage, was lovely and clean, had a great stay :)

Really nice property in an amazing location, the cottage was well equipped with everything you could possibly need, cosy and in a great location with shops nearby, take away’s and plenty of local scenery to enjoy. Really enjoyed my weekend away and there was plenty of great places to visit within a reasonable driving distance.

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! It was super cozy and had everything we needed, and the hot tub was an absolute dream after a walk around Loch Leven. The scenery was beautiful and so peaceful, jjst whar we needed to switch off for a few days.We also tried a couple of local spots for food - The Muirs Inn was great for a nice meal out, and the pizza at La Cabana was amazing! Everything aboit the trip jjst felt easy and relaxing. Wojld definitely come back again!

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, hat zwei Badezimmer, ein bequemes Bett und ein kuscheliges Schlafsofa. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Schöne Terrasse und man wohnt zentral, aber ruhig, so dass Loch und Läden gut zu erreichen sind.Die Vermieter sind einfach toll, hilfsbereit freundlich und die Kommunikation vorher lief super. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Trotzdem aufgrund seiner Lage perfekt für eine Erkundung (Süd)Schottlands geeignet. Und auch ein Ausflug zum Glennfinnan-Viadukt war machbar...

Eine wundervolle Ferienwohnung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Kinross und in der kleinen Ferienwohnung von Darren und Dawn sehr genossen. Es war sehr sauber und richtig hübsch eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Die Lage in dem kleinen Örtchen war ebenfalls toll. Ein rundum schöner Urlaub.

Cottage

My husband and I loved our stay in this beautiful little cottage. The Cottage had everything needed for daily living and the kitchen was well equipped. Kinross is an amazing little town and the location is perfect. Dawn is a wonderful host. Highly recommend staying here!

Cute cottage in good location

When we arrived the check in process was very easy. The cottage itself was very clean and warm. Bed was comfortable and two bathrooms which is great of you stay with a whole family. If you want to use the hot tub make sure to tell the owners immediately once you book. I told them a week before arriving and had had to ask twice to be able to use it. We could see in the guest book other people had been greeted with welcome basket. We didn’t. Would also been great if there were a welcome letter with tips about the area, where to eat what to see etc. But with that said we do recommend the place!

Great location and cottage.

No.22 is a great base to explore this part of Scotland. It’s comfortable, welcoming and has a good range of facilities. We’re planning a return to Kinross in future and won’t think of staying anywhere else.

A week at Kinross

A lovely well equipped property in the centre of Kinross. Ideally located for exploring the Loch Leven heritage trail and the Loch Leven RSPB visitor centre and a great base for exploring the surrounding historic towns and villages. The host was very welcoming and friendly and the welcome hamper was a thoughtful addition. We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay here.

Amazing stay

The host, Dawn is very welcoming, he helped us with the late check in and even gave us a small basket of food for the morninh after. The cottage is precisely as advertised, clean, and spacious. It is not far from the airport nor Edinburgh center (30 mins drive) and is located in a nice village with grocery shops at 5 to 10 mins walk. We highly recommand you booking it for your visits.

So Welcoming

My husband and I stayed two nights at this sweet oasis while we toured the sites of Edinburgh, Stirling Castle and Falkland Palace. Dawn provided nice quality toiletries, a well-stocked kitchen, excellent hot water pressure, and a very comfortable bed. She greeted us warmly and gave excellent recommendations for places to go in town. (There is a fabulous wood fired pizza take-out place called Casanova and several other restaurants. I recommend a reservation). The apartment was clean, tastefully decorated and inviting. What a nice stay.

Cosy little getaway

Myself & my partner loved our stay in this charming little cottage. Perfect having bikes available to use & then a hot tub at the end of the day. Very comfy bed too! Dawn was great at being in contact, thanks again :)

Weekend getaway

This cottage was a lovely place to escape to for the weekend. It was a very cosy home to stay in for a special occasion. There was everything you’d hope for to feel at home, away from home. The kitchen/living area was spacious enough, yet intimate enough for any young family’s looking to get away for a few days. A great place to go for a peaceful couples getaway or to get yourself in the country to go for an explore in suitable weather.

We are a family of five with all of our children now flown the nest for pastures new. Our holiday let is next door to our house and was developed and designed by my husband and myself. When family and friends come to visit they stay at Number 22, so we have tried to create a relaxing space where people can have all the benefits of their own home.
This is a family business as my husband and I are professional people and work full time. We enjoy meeting new people from across the world and introducing them to the beautiful area we have the privilege to live in.

Number 22 is ideal base for accessing central Scotland. We have good road networks which allow simple access to the main cities and towns.
Our cottage has been upgraded to modern living standards with both a shower room and bathroom meaning this is ideal for two couples, or a family. From the outside it looks traditional, however upon entering you will see how we have created the best of both worlds. The kitchen is fully fitted with all the equipment required to cook a three course meal. The open plan living area has been designed to maximise the space and reflect modern living trends. Upstairs we have managed to create a small study area with a desk and laptop space where light streams through the large velux windows. The bedroom offers a comfortable night sleep with a high quality mattress and backout blind. Finally we have a fully decked the outside courtyard which is south facing. Here we have created a calm space for alfresco dining or just a simple glass of wine at the end of a busy day.
Our cottage is designed well for leisure or work.
