Amazing Holiday

The villa was everything we hoped for and more! Even more beautiful than in the photos. We had the best week ever and cannot wait to re-book and come back and enjoy the beautiful property and surrounding area!

Stunning location

Location is perfect. You do need a good car to get up the hill. House really nice, needs a little maintenance but overall good. Well equipped, everything you need is there. Owners really helpfull.

Paradise on Earth

We had the best vacation in this little paradise. Our kids (11 and 14 years Old) enjoyed the 14 days in what we called “our mountain” The hosts were very Quick to reply as we had small questions during our stay. And the place is just a place to Care about. We would love to come back! Mette and family (Denmark)

Vacation

While getting there was a bit nerve wracking at points, the view of the home is so so worth it! The outdoor area was amazing especially the pool that was bigger than we expected. The house was nice but it was very hot. Other than the kitchen everything was clean and organized. Overall we had a lovely stay

Awesome Place, with a beautiful view follow the Instructions from the eMail and the Drive up is doable. If you follow Google Maps the Drive is very challenging

The best sunset view

We just don't have enough words to describe our holiday at the villa, it was fantastic, unbelievable, stunning, amazing, breathtaking, incredible and much more than that ;) The place is absolutely great, nothing can be more romantic than watching sunset over mountains while sitting in a hot jacuzzi with a sea view at the same time. And on top of all that this villa provides the best value for money! The only advise is make sure that you follow the driving instructions provided by the owners instead of Google maps ;)

Absolute peace and relaxation.

We chose to stay overnight in Malaga before travelling to the villa as we had a late arrival. This made the trip to the villa in daylight a pleasurable experience, even though we got lost once. The road through the mountains provided beautiful views of the surrounding countryside but care has to be taken on some of the corners. The villa itself is great. Fantastic views all round. Exceptionally quiet with few distractions allowing us complete relaxation while enjoying the September sun. The villa has everything required- comfortable bed, lots of crockery, ample inside and outside seating, etc. we can’t wait to return.

2nd week in Andalucia

The property is charming, well appointed and beautifully located in the hills above Sayalonga. The outside area offers stunning views and a good sized pool. The property has fans in the rooms but not a/c so is hot in July if that were a problem for you. The payoff for the view is the challenging drive up to the property which is steep, narrow and not for the nervous driver who wouldn’t feel comfortable reversing if encountering a driver in the other direction. We had a 4x4 which made things easier but not essential. The property itself is charming and well appointed if you like cooking, with charcoal bbq, and a second fridge in the garage. We had a busy first week so we’re happy to chill by the pool, but access to Verja, Torre del mar etc very easy for lunch. However had 2 excellent meals in Sayalonga (meson Morisco and asidor Ruan) if you don’t want to go too far. We really enjoyed our time here and have no complaints

Stay Away: Unauthorized Charges and Poor Conditions

The hosts demanded an unauthorized extra cash payment outside the VRBO platform which seems inconsistent with VRBO’s policy. Later, a damage claim was filed, alleging we left outdoor cushions in the rain despite the hosts' request to move them every time it rains.It seemed unusual to expect guests to do this (they are outdoor cushions!) but in fact, we did bring the cushions to a covered area during the rain.We had several issues during our stay too: we experienced a major power outage due to moisture in the technical room (no electricity for nearly a full day) and hot water issues — after three days, there was no hot water, and we were told to replace the gas tank ourselves, something never disclosed in advance. In addition, the Wi-Fi was weak, mattress was sagging, twice during our stay we were disrupted by contractors hired by the hosts that had to enter the premises, no soap, shampoo and paper towels were provided, directions to the property were poorly documented, and the stove only worked if other circuits were off.

Wir waren super zufrieden mit der Lage – einfach perfekt. Der Pool und der Jacuzzi waren top und haben unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht. Die Wohnung war genau so, wie im Internet beschrieben – alles wunderbar und ohne Überraschungen. Besonders möchten wir Eric hervorheben: ein richtig toller, netter und sehr hilfsbereiter Typ,( unTyp genial )der uns super viel geholfen hat. Für uns steht fest: Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Ein absoluter Muss für einen gelungenen Familienurlaub. Danke Nathalie und Kurt

Super séjour

Merci aux propriétaires pour l'explication de la procedure d'arrivée. En effet, arrivez le jour car chemins de montagne tres difficile. Maison bien agencée avec tout ce qu'il faut. Vue magnifique sur les montagnes et la mer. Tres joli jardin. Tout était parfait. On reviendra sûrement.

Toller Urlaub

Wir sind spätabends angereist, und haben das Haus, Dank der tollen Beschreibung der Vermieter, direkt gefunden. Die Straße ist eng, aber nicht viel befahren, wir hatten keine Probleme. Aussicht ist phänomenal! Aussenbereich super! Das Doppelbett ist richtig bequem. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Sayalonga ist ein netter kleiner Ort. Wir waren vollends zufrieden!

Reiseabbruch - Kurzschlüsse und Stromausfälle

Positiv: - Ausblick bei gutem Wetter atemberaubend - Doppelbett sehr bequem - Vermieter waren sehr bemüht alle Probleme zu beseitigen - Haus trotz älterer Einrichtung liebevoll eingerichtet Negativ: - katastrophale Stromverlegung im Aussenbereich; div. Kabel laufen in einem Schacht zusammen, bei Regen läuft der Schacht voll Wasser-Folge-Kurzschluss - Sicherungen im Haus fliegen raus- kein Strom entweder im Haus oder in der Außenanlage - defekter Whirlpool von Beginn an (Ursache: Kurzschluss am Wochenende vor unserer Anreise - defekte Poolpumpe, leicht grünes Wasser - Ursache: defekte Elektrik durch Kurzschluss - in die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung im Haus, vor allem Bäder und Küche (kein Geschirrspüler!) - Weg rauf zum Haus sehr steil, zum Teil nur asphaltiert, sehr eng (zum Glück ist uns nie ein Auto entgegen gekommen) - niemals so wie wir mit dem eigenen Auto anreisen - für Mückenempfindliche ist die Berglage nicht zu empfehlen - Entschädigung vom Vermieter enttäuschend Wir hatten 18 Nächte gebucht, sind nach 11Tagen abgereist, da wir Angst um unsere Sicherheit hatten und wir trotz diverser Handwerkerbesuche an Tag 10 genau wieder da standen, wo wir an Tag 1 waren. Regen in der Nacht, Kurzschluss in der Außenanlage, kein Strom im Haus und draußen. Whirlpool auch an Tag 10 noch defekt. Fazit: Nie wieder! Jahresurlaub und Erholung hinüber. Wir hoffen sehr, dass die Vermieter die gesamte Elektrik überprüfen lassen bevor noch ein Unglück geschieht!

As was communicated by us from the beginning, there was a defect in the jacuzzi. From day 1 we had the electrician come as well as a specialized technician for jacuzzis. It turned out that there was a defect in the front panel, which had to be ordered. As a safety reaction, this caused the electricity to fail when it rained. Turning off the power to the jacuzzi solved this. I cannot imagine that you would have stayed 10 days otherwise. We informed you that the repairs would be done on day 11. You left voluntarily and received a very large compensation for this unforeseen inconvenience. Nevertheless, it is regrettable to receive a whatsapp from you afterwards with the threat to write a negative review if we would not compensate even more. We will not do this, knowing that our house has been fully inspected according to the Spanish law, is undergoing a complete annual overhaul and repairs are being made where necessary, while we are doing everything possible to remedy unforeseen circumstances and to offer people the best possible holiday. I suppose that at every house or hotel something can go wrong and we find it regrettable how this is abused and then suddenly everything is criticized.

Geweldig verblijf met een prachtig uitzicht!

Samen met mijn gezin hebben we een week overnacht op deze geweldige locatie. Met name het buitenleven is top! Het uitzicht is prachtig, het zwembad is heerlijk en zelfs de jacuzzi in de avond is genieten ondanks de warmte. Het huis is van binnen iets gedateerd, maar heeft in de basis alles wat je nodig hebt. De rit naar boven is best een uitdaging, maar gelukkig vond mijn man het juist leuk om te rijden en verliep het goed. Ik zou deze locatie aanraden als je van rust en ontspanning houdt. En als je toch wat drukte wilt opzoeken, dan is Nerja een leuke plaats om te bezoeken. Bedankt voor de fijne week!

Fantastische Aussicht

Außergewöhnliche Lage und Anfahrt! Der kurvenreiche und teils steile Weg dorthin lohnt sich: Das Haus ist eine Perle in ruhiger Umgebung, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die gut ausgestattete Küche genutzt. Ein toller Ort um Abstand und Ruhe zu finden.

Ontspanning met een top uitzicht

Het huisje ligt prachtig hoog op de berg met een fatastisch uitzicht. De buitenruimte is top met een goed zwembad, mooie overdekte zithoek en luxe jaccuzi die wij vooral savonds met zonsondergang veelvuldig gebruikt hebben. De keuken en badkamers zijn iets gedateerd, maar dat was bekend ahv foto's uit advertentie en zijn verder nog goed te gebruiken. Huur een automaat of 4x4 auto voor de rit de berg op, het is een best steil en spannende weg anders. Gelukkig is de weg op de steile stukken wel verhard

Vue incroyable !!!

La première montée vers la maison peut faire un peu peur. Mais cela en vaut vraiment la peine. La vue est tout simplement incroyable: vue sur la mer, sur la montagne, couchers de soleil inoubliables avec des couleurs que nous n’avions jamais vues. Très bel espace extérieur avec une piscine au top. Intérieur bien agencé et très bien équipé

Schöne Lage

Das Haus ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Die Anfahrt war interessant aber machbar und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter schnell und einfach.
