Lovely, clean apartment with everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Th beds were incredibly comfortable and the flat is walkable to most attractions. The close proximity of the tube station made travel easy, including to the airport. Marco, our host, couldn’t have been more helpful!

We really enjoyed our stay! Marco was terrific, and very accommodating. Property was clean and well maintained. Very convenient, as there was a store across the street, and restaurants nearby. We will be contacting again the next time we are in Porto!

Excellent large property in great location only 200 yards from metro stop.

Would recommend this property. Easily sleeps six. Only 200 yards from the metro and then from there ten minutes to Porto centre.

Girlfriend trip

We had a great time seeing Porto. The accommodations were very good. Marco helped us very well. We had some noise with young people yelling on a Friday night after bar time that went on all night.

Porto 2 day trip

Marco was an amazing host! He made sure that the 3 bedroom apartment was well equipped and spotless. The complimentary wine and coffee was an extra touch and helped us feel welcomed. We will definitely plan a return visit to the beautiful city of Porto ❤️

Paranhos apartment

The apartment is stocked with all the essential amenities that you will need for your stay. Great cafe’s, bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. The metro Marques is an easy way to get down to the river very quickly. You will find all of Porto at your fingertips from this apartment.

Great neighborhood location

The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood away from the crowded tourist areas . We felt very comfortable in the apartment and walking around the neighborhood. The unit was as described on the VRBO listing and perfect for a family of four. Marco was a fantastic host. He communicated with us in advance of our arrival and throughout our stay if we needed assistance with restaurant recommendations or things to do in Porto. It was a pleasure working with Marco . He made our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay in the unit again.

Simply Outstanding!

Five of us stayed for four nights. Marco our host, was in communication with us before we arrived which we greatly appreciated. He made the checkin process very smooth and went beyond expectations to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He walked us through and showed us everything we needed to know. The apartment is outstanding - well equipped, clean and nicely furnished. The location is great with easy access to the metro. We loved the apartment and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about visiting Porto. Thanks again Marco you are a wonderful host!

Apartment is bright, sunny, clean white walls, view over city, well-equipped kitchen. Well situated for commute to FEUP -- short walk to Marques metro station with direct connections to FEUP to North and São Bento station and historic section to South. One drawback: the covered forecourt to high-rise is a hangout for late Friday and Saturday "after parties" -- noisy very early weekend mornings and trash only picked up on Monday...

Our host, Vania, communicated very well with us, and check-in was smooth and informative. We did have a couple issues within the first hour, and our host replied rapidly and was able to resolve the issues quickly. The apartment was so spacious and comfortable! We even saw fireworks off the balcony! We had a group of 7 and the apartment was perfect for our group. Our time there was brief (only one night), but I would love to return to the property and spend more time to explore more of the area and of Porto. Excellent property and I would recommend it to anyone!

Key /elevator disaster

Six women stayed at this location. It came fully stocked with all the necessary supplies for our stay. But unfortunately the key and door is antiquated and we got locked in and out on several occasions . On our last day we were stuck on the elevator together for 20 minutes and had to be rescued by the fire department. This situation ruined our stay in Porto. Host made us feel like we were dumb Americans!

Excellent place to stay

We were 3 couples visiting porto and the condo was clean, spacious and had enough space for us for the week to enjoy our stay. There are 2 bathrooms, so no worries when someone is taking a bath or shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and we could all ours meals without missing anything. When you get there, there is even coffee and a few small milks to get you going the next morning. The washer and dryer were also great when you only have a carry on to visit. I would recommend if you want to stay in porto. Only downside was the noise overnight on Saturday. But that’s porto itself and nothing that they could have done for that. Metro is a block away with the Marques stop being just there. If you fly in, you can take the metro down and change to the yellow line. But Uber is also supper cheap and will get you there for less than 10€

Great Accommodations in a Great City

The accommodations were just what we needed for our family gathering of 2 grandparents and son and family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The location while not in the center of town was easily accessible to the center. Grocery stores and restaurants were easily accessible. While there is public transportation nearby, Uber is quick and inexpensive. We came in to Porto by train and used Uber to get to the vrbo. The pluses outweigh the minuses. I would choose to stay there again. Meeting the person to access the apartment was confusing and their nighttime entertainment was loud until 2 in the morning. This might have been because it was Passover Week but there is a nightclub outside the front entrance. If there are light sleepers, they need earplugs.

Hi I am really sorry for the delay of my review! It was a hard time since I came back from lovely wonderful Porto! First of all we all (4Persons) agree that we were very well and perfect welcomed by Marco! He explained us everything, in the apartment which we found very comfortable and cosy! Enough space for us ladies:)) with well equipped kitchen! gave us a lot of informations about the city , good restaurants! He even made us a reservation in a good restaurant where we had the best fish ! And we recommend all our friends if they want to go to Porto, to choose your wonderful apartment. Really we had a great time there. We had everything nearly. Shops, bakery, restaurants and Metro. Thanks again that we could stay at your location. And a big thanks to Marco. He was very professional and helpful.
