O sr que nos recebeu foi impecável . Mas o apartamento está muito desatualizado , os colchões eram de molas super antigos , não dormimos nada bem , as almofadas péssima qualidade , os utensílios de cozinha os tachos muito antigos , e já muito usados . O apartamento não cheirava nada bem , tinha cheiro de mofo , e a limpeza muito fraca , o chão estava cheio de pó e casa de banho com bolor. A localização fantástica , mas de uma forma geral pagamos bastante e ficamos decepcionados pois está muito antiquada a decoração . Sofás super desconfortáveis … e não tinha cheirinho a limpo como em algumas casas que já alugamos .

Foram 7 excelentes dias. A casa tinha todas as condições para usufruir de uns bons dias de férias. Os únicos pontos menos fortes são, a limpeza ( embora estivesse limpo, havia pó pela casa), os colchões, tanto de casal como individual já poderiam ter sido mudados. Colchões com muitos anos e a internet, tendo um custo de 30€ a mais no valor do arrendamento é internet móvel que faz com que não haja sinal quando se usa em 2 ou mais aparelhos ao mesmo tempo. De resto tens todas a condições para uns dias excelentes.

Férias agradáveis

A estadia foi muito agradável. Os quartos estavam bem limpos e os utensílios de cozinha foram os necessários. As toalhas de banho eram muito pequenas. A maquina de lavar roupa estava avariada o que foi desagradável para 15 dias de ferias. Obrigou a recorrer às lavandarias locais. É sem duvida um lugar a considerar numa próxima ocasião. Deixamos a nossa panela de pressão na casa como poderemos reavê-la?

Boa surpresa

O apartamento correspondeu ao descrito no site. Bem equipado, apenas uma ressalva relativa ao mobiliário pouco confortável e antiquado. Uns sofás novos e uns cortinados mais leves tornariam a experiência perfeita. A comunicação foi fácil e eficiente. Muito disponível para ajudar e as nossas solicitações foram correspondidas. Será certamente considerado numa futura visita a Cabanas de Tavira.

Good location

The apartment is in a good location, close to shops, restaurants and beach access. It’s great as a base but does not offer much in the way of comfort or those “little extras” that make it feel like home. I appreciate that we visited at the end of the season but kitchen equipment was decidedly lacking.....few mugs, no egg cups, not much glassware, bowls, jugs etc. The balcony is nice to sit out on to watch the world go by and I don’t understand other reviews re the air con unit being noisy......surely if you’re outside the air con doesn’t need to be in use, we do have a planet 🌎 to save after all. Small problems we had were sorted swiftly which was appreciated. If you’re looking for a base in a decent location then this apartment would fit the bill, however, if you want something a bit more, then I suggest looking elsewhere.

Quiet location, handy to everything

The apartment is situated in a quiet area. It is a short walk away from the seafront area where there lots of shops and restaurants. The main beach is also accessed from this area by taxi boat over to a boardwalk that leads to a very long stretch of beautiful sandy clean beach. In the opposite direction from the apartment and also a short walk is the train station with routes to Faro, Tavira and Villa Real de St Antonio amongst others. Beside the station is a tourism office where we booked a trip into Sevilla and a river cruise that was great craic. The resort itself is quiet - there are plenty of eating establishments but no bar in a sense that an Irish person might expect. There are 4 pools around the apartment that are very well kept, clean and comfortable. An entrance card gives you access to any of the 4 you chose. We went as a couple and stayed here for 10 days. As you see from above there was always plenty to do. I would recommend it.

Apartamento ideal para família até 4 pessoas. Cozinha bem equipada para quem fizer as refeições. Caminhada de 5 a 8 minutos até a praia. Muito bom.

Disappointing for a " Premier Partner"

The apartment was clean and spacious. Location to ammenites was good, eg shops/supermarkets and beach. Air con in all rooms efficient, however the condenser unit is situated on the very small balcony which is not suitable for four people and is too warm and noisy when the AC is on. The balcony also overlooks a crossroads and carpark, not a pretty view of the town as is mentioned in the owners description. Pool quite cold but clean and secure. There are no sun loungers however you can hire a plastic chair for 1 euro. Quality of towels/bedding and pans very cheap and dated . TV had no signal .(apparently x4 Portuguese channels only) This issue was never resolved by owner after we made contact with him on the second day. Would have been nice to have had a welcome pack or at the very least a bottle of water in the fridge. In need of a full length mirror and dressing table as the only mirror is in the bathroom. Agree with last review regarding balcony and bedroom privacy. The owner did not offer any suggestions for transfers to the apartment when asked prior to our visit and overall did not appear as helpful and friendly as previous reviews have stated. This is an honest and genuine review.

We could not fault the property with a few exceptions. The balcony was smaller than expected ,and was also the location of the a/c condenser. therefore was not comfortable to sit out with the ac running. We also thought the description the the balcony gives lovely views over the village as a bit misleading as the views were of similar apartments opposite. We would also suggest a full length mirror or at least a mirror of some description as the only one is a small mirror in the bathroom. Finally being ground floor there was a certainlack ofd privacy. However these points do not detract from the good points, the host was most helpful , the apartment is roomy and extremely well equipped , the pool was lovely. The location was just a 10minute walk from the front with all its restaraunts etc. The resort is in our opinion very beautiful and would certainly recommend the apartment and location to others

Amazing second stay in Cabanas

This was our second stay in this apartment and another fantastic time had by all, just not long enough. Love this apartment (so clean, tidy, spacious and well equipped), love the swimming pools and the outside areas. People are so friendly and kind and really make you feel welcome. Tavira is a must town to visit. Very pretty, quaint, and lots to see and do. The restaurants and bars in Cabanas are fabulous... food is fantastic and so reasonable and the drink even better. See you next year and thanks again for everything.

Perfect, cool and relaxing apartment.

A couple with the children, looking for a relaxing summer holiday, we couldn't have asked for more. The apartment was lovely and cool, as there is air conditioning throughout, very clean and very well furnished, making this a relaxing place to stay. The swimming pool is only 10 meters away and was frequently used by us all, especially the children. The apartment is only a short walk to the beach and all other amenities so we did not hire a car, this made the location of the apartment perfect for us and we will definitely return.

Fantastic, modern, clean and great location.

Fantastic apartment. Spacious, very modern, fully equipped and in perfect condition. The air conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms was great to have, as was the balcony. The overall complex was excellent with a great pool and lovely tropical gardens. The apartment is very well located and is less than five minutes walk away from the local supermarkets, taxi rank, bus top, beach and loads of high quality restaurants. I highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a relaxing family holiday, one of the best apartments we have stayed in.

Wonderful light & airy apartment.

Stayed for two weeks in June, the weather was hot and sunny, the apartment was very clean and well equipped - everything we needed for our relaxing holiday. Breakfast on the balcony first morning in the warmth of the sun and 5 flamingoes flew over - couldn't be better. The pool was great, with good access and right next to the apartment. Cabanas is such a lovely laid back place you instantly feel relaxed. Our friends joined us half way through and we had a great time, the apartment is so spacious we never felt on top of each other. it was very easy to get in contact with the owner when we had questions, We're sure we will be back.

Just what you would hope to find.

This is a wonderful apartment. Clean, beautifully presented with many thoughtful touches that make your stay perfect. It has air conditioning and a great swimming pool, Just beautiful. Mark and Agnes are excellent hosts who go out of their way to be helpful, suggesting places to eat (which are excellent value and serve beautiful food) and sights to see. The apartment is perfectly situated for the beaches (only a 5 minute walk) and interesting towns, and is only a 30 minute drive from Faro airport. Tavira has all the supermarkets etc that you need and a lovely fishing port plus the opportunity to take a boat trip around the Ria Formosa nature reserve and, as we did, visit the nearest thing to a desert island beach that you'll find so close to the shore! In all, a great place for a holiday and highly recommended.

Lovely apartment in a relaxing location.

We stayed for a week in September, needed to recharge the batteries and this was just what was required. The apartment perfect for 4, well equipped, spotlessly clean and is exactly as shown in the photos. The balcony is an added bonus especially if you want to chill and catch the sun. The swimming pools are lovely, set in mature gardens and lawns, very relaxing. Location is great, away from the town (not that is was noisy or busy) just a 5 minute stroll away. We visited Spain, Tavira (worth going to), boat trip to see Flamingos (and other sea birds) Loule on Saturday for the market, but the veg and fish market were lovely as were the local stalls but it all depends what you are looking for. We enjoyed all the restaurants in Cabanas but our favourite was Pedros, service and food excellent. If you want a relaxing holiday with lovely beach, food and surroundings then this is for you.
