We had issues with the internet the first night and after several hours of trouble shooting ourselves we discovered the plug in the master bedroom was not working. Also suggest curtains in the master bedroom. Unless you are extremely early riser the light coming in through the blinds is disturbing

This was a true let down of a vacation experience. Let me start by saying there were 3 adults and one 4yr old and one infant (6m). When we arrived all 3 of the adults could smell the cigarette smoke. One adult said it was like walking into her smoker aunts house. I immediately called the desk and was told they would call me back. Instead a man showed up at the door with a can of smoke odor spray. He claimed he couldn’t smell it but they couldn’t move us because they were fully booked (understandable). I asked if there could be any compensation as we were going to have to figure something out since I’m allergic to smoke and I also have an 6m yr old and a 4yr old. They said they would look into it. And brought us a mini air purifier. We sprayed the smoke odor ban and realized that it was the other smell we smelt other than the smoke. So they knew it was an issue and had already sprayed the stuff to cover it. I went downstairs to talk to the front desk the next day and I asked about if there would be any compensation and the lady rudely said, “I don’t know why there would be, he said he couldn’t smell it.” So apparently my semi allergic self was lying about having a sore throat only when I’m the room. Also, the dryer is the most janky set up I’ve ever seen and I’m pretty sure it’s a fire hazard. They have the return feed going into some reservoir contraption and they require to open the front door and the back slider to vent the humidity& the floors STILL get wet from humidity.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at the RGR since I was a teenager with my parents, very rarely do I have any problems. The condo was clean and well maintained, from the cable service, to the AC, and appliances all worked well! I love the 4th floor unit as it allows you the best views! The last day we were there it was rather windy and rainy, however being in a unit where everything worked and was clean made it ok. Oh and the indoor pool and hot tub are always great, temps were good especially since the install of the exhaust fan at the hot tub. All in all it was a great trip at a property that continues to upgrade and improve the building every year!

Disappointing Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at Royal Garden for years, I have stayed in several different units over the years. This unit is in serious need of preventative maintenance, first off two of three toilets do not flush properly, washing machine had no water pressure, it took more than 15 minutes to fill with water for the rinse. I had to fill a bowl with water from the kitchen sink and make 6 trips to fill washer before it would continue with the cycle. Also the garbage disposal made noise but it stayed clogged.And last but not least the unit was infested with cockroaches. And as I am in the hospitality industry I know they were really bad! I have never experienced this problem before at Royal Garden. I did report roaches, however I did not report other issues as I didn't want to spend my vacation with maintenance coming in and out of the unit. We were given a discount for the bug issue, however I would rather PM's were done to the units to correct problems before they arise. I will continue to stay at Royal Garden, I made this review to help improve the guest experience, not to cast a bad light on Seabreeze or Royal Garden.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The building is in a perfect location; however, the unit itself was dirty and very dated. The toilets were on shims and they still moved. The furniture was filthy and the comforters were equally dirty. This unit meds some attention badly. It is in a perfect spot but I would never choose this unit again. The building itself was fine.

Location on the 4th floor was just right for viewing the beach. Shopping located near by for groceries and other items. Restaurants near by included Crabby Mike's, Longhorn Steakhouse, and many more. Parking on site for convenience. Definitely a place I would stay on any other trip to this area.

The kitchen floor 'looked' clean, but our bare feet were blackened from the dirt. We talked to housekeeping, she was very understanding.

All rooms overlook the ocean. We were on the 4th floor, end unit which was next to the stairs so we got a little exercise by using the stairs. The stairway door is not loud when it shuts so we were not disturbed by it.
