Peace and tranquility.

My wife and I spent 10 days in this beautiful and rural villa, the setting really was outstanding. The greeting that Jacquie gave us was really warm and welcoming, and the prearrival communication was excellent! Jacqueline and Peter were fabulous hosts, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The villa was immaculately clean and was packed with all the essentials needed. (Welcome pack was a nice touch!) All the rooms were well presented and comfortable and the full size leather sofa was an added luxury!! In the evening the porch was a lovely place to enjoy a glass of wine whilst taking in the stunning views. All in all if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay then look no further, we have already booked to go back in November. Tony and Wendy

A real home away from home; comfortable and serene with stunning views

We've just had two weeks of chilled bliss in this beautiful traditional bungalow in Tefia, with all mod cons and the comfort of home. The house sits in it's own grounds and you have a stunning view from every window. The owner's, Pete and Jacquie live within a stone's throw and are on hand, but not intrusive and their main objective is for you to have a memorable stay - and that's exactly what we did. The house is more than equipped with everything you can think of and more including beach umbrellas, hiking poles and even reins for young children. The house is spotlessly clean and feels brand new and the welcome pack of wine, bacon/eggs, tea/coffee/milk/bread and amazing biscuits etc. is not only handy, but thoughtful for those like us arriving on New Year's Eve. They even left a bottle of fizz to see in the New Year! Jacquie also let us know in advance the local shop opening times, which made it reassuring to plan ahead for meals etc. We took advantage of the spacious terrace, spending most of our time lazing around on the comfy outdoor sofa, eating, drinking, sunbathing and watching the goats/sheep graze on the hillside or the butterflies in the garden. It truly was so relaxing and peaceful. The bungalow is situated roughly in the middle of the island, which was great for us to explore and we found some amazing spanish restaurants and tapas bars and never ate in the same place twice. We were sorry to leave on our final day and return to our lives in the UK, but we felt refreshed and energised and have already started planning our return. We are very grateful to Pete and Jacquie who went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable and we look forward to seeing them again in a few months. Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to get away, relax and chill at your own pace in comfort and with superb views. You will not be disappointed.

La posizione è strategica per visitare al meglio tutta l’isola. La dimora è spaziosa è dotata di ogni comfort, situata in un contesto meraviglioso e ideale per le famiglie. L’host si è dimostrata oltremodo disponibile e accogliente, pronta a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Purtroppo durante la nostra permanenza per 3 giorni è manca l’acqua corrente, NON imputabile si proprietari che ci hanno prontamente forniti di taniche. Per questo abbiamo dato punteggio complessivo 4/5, poiché è un’eventualità da considerare data la posizione isolata

Perfect vacation location

We were welcomed by the most warmhearted hosts to this very nice and spotless clean house with all the amenities and comfort. The house was the perfect location to explore the island for 10 days. We simply loved our stay with Jacquie and Pete who where on hand if needed. We had the chance to have all our meals at the terrasse enjoying the beautiful landscape and the quietness of the nature. We were extremely sorry to leave at the end of the vacation... this was our first but certainly not the last stay with Jacquie & Pete. Thank you so much for the most wonderful vacation!

Lovely place to stay

We had a wonderful two weeks holiday here. The hosts are extremly friendly and accessible as needed. The house is furnished with virtually everything needed and even more incl. any type of equipment for a beach vacation. We were the first time on Fuerteventura and used this place as a hub to explore the different parts of the island and to do hiking. Its central location makes the place the ideal spot for that and at the same time it provideded us with a tranquil refuge place to enjoy ourselves and the landscape around. There is simply no reason why we would not pick this house again for our next visist.

Perfect home away from home

My husband & I really enjoyed staying at this property. We gave it 5 stars because it came with all the amenities you'd need and more at no additional charge. We gave it 5 stars for many many reasons!! The location was also peaceful in the interior. We had mountain views from every window. The owner lives nearby and that provided a sense of security. Knowing there are a few neighbours nearby. The owners are very helpful if you need their help. They care about their property. She introduced us to the place when we arrived late after a day of sightseeing (we started after picking up our rental car) which was very sweet of her. She even left us a welcome package. The bungalow was also very spacious and very clean. It has been renovated nicely with comfortable furnishings. It felt like a home, more than a rental. It was the perfect home away from home. We especially loved the traditional charm of the place. Outside the earth tone colours and the way the bungalow looks- it certainly blends into its surroundings. The surrounding area is mountains and country... pretty and peaceful, natural scenery and not full of people.... No subdivisions and no holiday apartments...which tend to be loud and ruin the natural landscape of any place! In a short drive you do reach pretty villages with stores, and more things to see. You need a car to stay here but that goes for the whole island. It is just more convenient to rent a car. I recommend this property to couples or families. There is also plenty of space around the property to walk or bike or for kids to explore/play. It was important to us that the rental was clean and it was vert clean. The windows also has screens. There are shutters as well. You get a cool breeze at night. It was our first time on the island and it was good we didnt have to worry about the rental place we were staying in. We could just focus on sightseeing and exploring this beautiful island. We knew we would come back to a safe , and clean and comfortable place at night. It is a good nightly rate and affordable especially for those who want to spend more days on the island. Definitely do not miss the night sky when you stay here. No light pollution at all. Also take time to notice all the little special touches to the property; the painted rock decorations, the paintings on the wall etc

Un séjour idyllique dans un cadre ideal

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié ce séjour. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement accueillants et attentifs à répondre aux attentes de leurs hôtes. La maison est très jolie, très bien entretenue et excellemment équipée. Son emplacement est également idéal pour répondre aux attentes de ceux qui sont désireux de découvrir les différents sites de l'île car il est très central. De plus, le cadre est juste magnifique. Bref, une des meilleure expérience de location que nous allons largement conseiller à notre entourage.

Una casa ideal, muy tranquila y en la que no falta de nada.

La casa está perfecta, confortable, comoda, silenciosa, tranquila, muy limpia, nueva y con todo lo que podrías necesitar para la estancia. Además tiene bonitas vistas desde el porche que es ideal. Tienes a los propietarios cerca por si los necesitaras para cualquier cosa. Jacqueline y Peter son encantadores y muy amables. Gracias por los detalles de bienvenida. La zona es ideal si quieres visitar todo fuerteventura ya que esta mas o menos en el centro de la isla. Tienes una playa a escasamente 10' en coche. Algún pero.... algunas hormigas lo más normal en el campo y fuera de él. La recomiendo con total confianza.

Beautiful and comfortable house with great view and an unique host

The host did receive as very favourable with a bottle of wine, bread, fresh egs and a refrigerator with lots to consume. A comfortable house with equipment as described, but we miss the wifi, which the host hope to fix in the future - and then 6 stars.. The house looks like a house in a dessert and have an amazing view over the valley and to the mountains. There are very silent in the area, but sometimes you can hear dogs barken. We did love to stay here. Thank you.

Mooi ruime bungalow, wijds uitzicht, fijne gastvrouw/-heer

Fijne ruime bungalo met ruime keuken , goede kookmogelijkheden, grote koelkast, diepvriesdeel, 2 aparte slaapkamers. Alles in goede staat. Minstens even belangrijk: een goede gastvrouw en gastheer die er alles aan doen om het verblijf tot een geslaagde vakantie te maken. Verder een heerlijk terras..waar je kunt genieten van het uitzicht en de zonsondergang. Tv is in hoofdzaak Spaans Na 6 weken op deze fijne plaats was het wel weer wennen aan het Hollandse klimaat..

Remote but not isolated

We stayed here for 4 nights and would love to have stayed longer! Jacqueline is a lovely hostess and kindly provided a delicious bottle of wine to help us settle in. Her husband kindly fixed a blocked sink for us within a few minutes of us mentioning it - and it wasn't even blocked, just a lack of knowledge on our part about the very smart plug with built-in strainer :-) ! The bungalow was spotless inside and out. We really enjoyed being able to sit outside on the patio for breakfast every morning as the sun came up, and having a glass of wine there in the evenings as the sun disappeared behind the hills and the stars came out. Jacqueline has provided a beautifully hand-crafted book containing lots of information about things to do and places to go, which was really helpful especially on our first evening finding somewhere for dinner. The bungalow is well-sited for touring the island; we preferred the more remote locations as built-up towns aren't our favourite - you will definitely need a hire car. There is no wifi which didn't bother us at all - it meant that we really were able to "switch off" in the evenings, and have a bit of a technical detox, but I believe there are plans to install it in due course. There is a huge TV but we didn't use it - we played games (some are provided) and actually talked to each other! The bungalow is booked solid for the winter months to come, which surely speaks for itself - get in early if you want to stay here! If we return to Fuerteventura, this will definitely be our "go-to" place to stay.
