Good location for walking & bus terminal.

Good location for walking & bus terminal. pubs, restaurants, shops & supermarkets, take aways all within a short walking distance. We did have a problem with the bedside lights not working & no suitable replacements in the bulb store but other than that a very enjoyable stay.

Just had a short break at Elm Court.

Just had a short break at Elm Court. Location is ideal for Keswick with the added bonus of a parking space. Apartment is comfortable. The main issue we had is with the TV. There weren't any real instructions (apart from checking the cables) and 2 remote controls. We eventually worked it out but would be useful for some more instructions.

The location was great, shame about elements of interior

Handy to walk into Keswick and great walking from there. Buses from Keswick to the rest of the Lakes are close to the flat too. I had to ask for the check in information, I'm not sure when this was going to be sent out without my asking for it. In the flat we were greeted by a glass of dead daffodils in black water, that took washing up a couple of times to get all the grime off. A broken chair in the living room, broken stool in one of the bedrooms - would have caused injury if we'd sat on them. Please remove immediately as they're dangerous. The crockery had lots of chips and cracks, these should be thrown out as lots of germs stay in the cracks and people with weak immune systems like myself can get really ill. Thankfully we enjoyed our holiday as it was a great base to explore the Lakes. A lot more TLC is needed for the interior of the property.

This is my 2nd stay @ 7 elm court & as before it is the perfect to base for walking in lakeland either close to keswick or (if you haven't come by car) by public transport (keswicks main bus stop is 5mins walk away) with supermarkets, shops also just on the doorstep & so is Derwentwater! The décor in this flat is not as modern as some, but the views from the lounge and kitchen are beautiful and it is comfortable and well equipped (including towels supplied!). Although there are 2 bedrooms it's better suited (bedroom size and one bathroom) to a couple or a couple with one child rather than two couples or a bigger family. There is no dishwasher, which was OK for just the two of us but would be a miss for a bigger party. The carpets need a steam clean, the placemats need washing and the inside of the windows could do with washing - no criticism of the regular weekly cleaners, as ever they had done a good job.

A good location in Keswick, tucked away so quiet, yet a few minutes stroll into town. Great views of the river and the hills. It had recently been decorated so all the paintwork was very fresh. Bathroom a bit dated and the shower not the best, but it all worked. Would definitely stay here again.
