If you are looking for a warm cosy cottage, dog friendly, in the middle of a working farm, with lovely friendly helpful hosts (even in the middle of lambing in storms....) - then look no further! It’s all freshly decorated so all just like new.
3 horses to greet you at the back door every morning. Free range hens, geese and guinea fowl wandering around the yard. 1000 pregnant ewe’s in the surrounding fields, with about a dozen newborn lambs every morning. Cute little Dexter calves as well. And of course cats and sheepdogs. Oh and Red Kites in the skies.
300 acres to walk - including the hill opposite, with amazing views down to the sea. Just the sound of animals, birds, and water (as the stream has lots of lovely little waterfalls).
But it’s only 2 miles down the track to Pontarddulais where there are pubs, takeaways and even a big Tesco’s if that takes your fancy.
What’s not to love?
And if you fancy finding out more about this lovely farm & family find the bbc documentary online on Emlyn “Looking after lambs”.
To Justine and Emlyn - thank you! Despite the weather, we had a great time - and we will return.
