Stylish cottage

My overall impression of the property was favourable. However, the main reason I would not return to this place is that there is a toilet IN THE BEDROOM with no dividing door for privacy or hygiene. There are many steps within the property including of course, the stairs to go to the second bedroom. The aforementioned steps make it difficult for some people to move around the cottage easily. The upstairs bedroom has extremely low beams, which means you have to crouch very low to get into or out of bed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen area was clean and was well stocked with utensils. We were given more mugs when we asked for them, which were definitely needed.

Enjoyable holiday.

Lovely barn conversion with every comfort. Quiet location in beautiful countryside. Plenty of walks and pubs around with good food. Made very welcome by owners. Would recommend.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning area close to Exmoor and the coast. Quiet but very convenient location not too far from nearby towns of Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. Very relaxing holiday overall. Good places to eat nearby, enjoyed meals out at the Black Venus in Challacombe.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Threshing Barn, it suited us perfectly and the bed was very comfortable and facilities good. As we were going out and about every day we found the position ideal as we rarely had to go over the same ground, being able to go north, south, east and west to visit different areas. The weather was not particularly sunny but had it been, sitting outside would have been our only criticism. The area is close to those next door and on arrival their washing was close to our door. There was no view from the sitting area.
