The bungalow was lovely. Light, spacious, clean and the garden didn't disappoint - my granddaughters loved it, particularly watching the mother rabbit and her baby eating the windfall apples along with the two pheasants. It was in a great location just a couple of hundred yards or so from the Marina, for walking to Cat Bells down the road, and to the Lingham Estate where Beatrix Potter stayed on the shores of Derwent Water. The only comment would be there was no wardrobe in the second double bedroom only wall hooks and a chest of drawers. Maybe it would be better to have a smaller chest and a small wardrobe. Apart from that, attention to detail was very good, and a nice touch was the pack of cookies and two bars of Kendall Mint Cake on the hospitality tray upon arrival. Although the weather was not kind to us for our week, we got out and about and enjoyed the area which of course is beautiful.
