We were seeking a comfortable, dog friendly, quiet location in the beautiful countryside for a few nights away with our springer. All of our aims were surpassed and thank Caroline and Chris for their kind hospitality and friendly welcome.

Overall great holiday , particularly location.

Overall great holiday , particularly location. Acharn Lodges are not well marked from main road so need to keep sharp eye out ( or use sat nav). We were a bit surprised in post covid times that there was no welcome pack ( or pint of milk even) & no visitor book from which we usually pick up recommendations/ wet day ideas. Recommend you bring an iPad or lap top as Free Sat tv very unreliable as soon as it rains! Wi fi is better. Your back garden is a selection of lovely fishing pools . Red squirrels spotted from the front door , a red deer bounded across access road. We enjoyed leaving car behind & walking the old railway line behind the lodge into Killin & into the forestry land. HighlandSafaris within easy reach at Dull near Aberfeldy. Lodge well equipped & help close at hand. We would stay again.

Amazing lodge and location

Perfect retreat for our holiday, the lodge was well equipped and very clean on arrival. The hosts were always on hand to answer any questions we had. The local village was a lovely evening retreat to sample food and a few drinks. A very relaxing stay.
