What a WONDERFUL home and location. The space was perfect for our family of 5. We were able to walk to the beach, downtown and the cutest bakery. If we ever get the chance to come back we will definitely be asking to stay at this lovely home again!

quiet neighbourhood, very well equipped and spacious house, great location, only short walk to the beach and shops, very friendly neighbour who welcomed us at arrival and helped with everything we needed would definitely recommend this accommodation to everyone, Thank you Monsier et Madame Ducruet! One small thing,,, if you have a bigger car it doesn't fit into the garage but parking is available outside the house.

Detailed Review: 1) Location: 10 minutes to the great sandy beach. 10 minutes to train and bus stations although no noise whatsoever. 10 minutes to great local restaurants, bakery, cheese shop. Street is very quite , safe, pleasant to walk. 2) accommodation: ideal for 2 pairs of guests, family with 2-3 kids. Hard to imagine better place. Impeccably clean. All appliances work. Everything in place. Place feels like new. Owner keeps it like true home. Kitchen is equipment with everything visitors could need and yet more . All kind of utensils, knives, plates, boy, spices. There is closed veranda and open one- for any type of weather. Good decor. Good movies on DVD collection. Air conditioner is very quite and sufficient. Covers both first and second floor. Note: there is no air outlet for the second bedroom on the first floor- the only minus I could imagine to mention. Summary- with our quite high expectations the place exceeded them in every way. We will plan to come back in a year with 2 friends. Additional comment: st Raphael is incredible welcoming and pleasant city. Highly Recommend. Simon

ruhiges Häuschen im Familienferienort

Die Fotos geben den Zustand der Ferienwohnung korrekt wieder. Die offizielle 4-Sterne-Kategorisierung bezieht sich (wie bei Hotels) auf die Ausstattung, und tatsächlich ist von Klimaanlage und Wachmaschine über Prospekte und Küchenausstattung alles vorhanden. Tatsächlich müsste man eher mal das eine oder andere aussortieren, es ist alles etwas voll und nicht alles ist neuwertig. Das Haus selbst ist ebenfalls schon etwas älter, aber in gutem Zustand. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern lief per Mail (auch auf Englisch), vor Ort ist die freundliche, ältere Nachbarin für alles ansprechbar (spricht französisch, hat aber Geduld und Verständnis mit Gästen, denen das nicht so flüssig über die Lippen kommt). Unser Auto hatten wir über eine Woche nicht aus der (übrigens recht engen) Garage bewegt, weil Strände, Restaurants und Hafen leicht zu Fuß erreichbar sind, selbes gilt für den Bahnhof - die Zugstrecke Richtung Cannes/Antibes/ Monaco ist wegen der Aussichten deutlich empfehlenswerter als das Fahren. Wir waren zu viert in der Wohnung, und unsere Teenie-Töchter wollten gerne jeweils ihr eigenes Zimmer, was hier auch möglich war. Allerdings ist der obere Bereich mit Empore sehr niedrig und eigentlich eher für jüngere/kleinere Kinder geeignet. Nach ein bisschen Eingewöhnung ging es dann aber.. In der Hauptsaison ist diese Wohnung nicht billig, aber es ist halt auch die Cote d'Azur. St. Raphael ist durchaus touristisch, wird aber vor allem von Franzosen besucht, ist bodenständiger.

Trés bon séjour à bois Lurette une belle maison spatieuse tout confort il y'a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut on se sent vraiment bien dans cette maison est à proximité de tout centre ville plage commerces gare le propriétaire est super sympa joingable pour toute demande ou question. Lovely

A peaceful, verdant sanctuary with every domestic comfort. My family was unable to accompany me, but this would have been an optimal location for the five of us as originally intended. The town is 10 minutes by foot, a bakery ("des Plaines") even closer. The view from the terrace is outstanding; sea birds and swallows agree this is the best place in town.

Absolutely perfect - totally recommend!

We stayed at Bois Lurette for 13 nights - and didn't want to come home! Saint Raphael is a perfect location - and where this property is located means that everything is within very easy reach. The owners were very friendly and incredibly helpful when we were sorting out our booking and the property itself was everything that we could have wished for. The house is very comfortable indeed and very well-equipped - there was nothing that we wanted that wasn't provided. This makes things very easy if you want to just stay home some evenings and cook for yourself - the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need and more than most people will have at home. The area itself is largely residential and peaceful but within a short walking distance of the beautiful town centre, its attractions and amenities - including the train station/bus station if you want to make some trips further out - rail travel is very, very cheap compared to the UK and there are regular trains to neighbouring towns that are very well worth exploring. On arrival, the house was spotlessly clean and and very comfortable. A safe is also provided and a house alarm so that you can be sure of your personal property being kept secure whilst you are out. This is a brilliant location - the town itself has very much to offer, whether you are interested in dining out, sailing (there is a marina), experiencing local food and culture (there are a number of both food and craft artisan markets) or interested in history (there is a local museum) and of course, you are minutes from the sea. If you are self-catering, there a several very good local supermarkets, lots of bakers and butchers as well as a fish market - all within walking distance too - that should cater for all of your needs. On arrival we were welcomed by the owner's lovely neighbour who was extremely helpful and it was good to know that she was nearby if we did have any questions during our stay. Bois Lurette is the perfect place to spend a holiday - this property is also quite spacious and accommodates a family very easily - the mezzanine area is ideal if someone wants to just spend a bit of quiet time but not have to go to their room. It also has a very pleasant garden and balcony area for outdoor dining. We have fallen in love with both the people and the place and are really looking forward to visiting again in the future. We really cannot recommend this property or its lovely owners more highly.

Parfait! A recommander.

La maison, les prestations, sont en tous points conformes aux descriptions. Repas en terrasse le matin, à l'ombre du palmier le midi, le soir, et à l'abri dans la véranda un soir d'orage. La climatisation permet de bien rafraîchir en notre absence, de sorte de n'être pas obligés de la mettre en service la nuit. Excellent séjour pour quatre adultes et deux fillettes de 7 et 5 ans. Nous recommandons fortement, d'autant que les rapports téléphoniques et par mail sont d'une qualité rare! Bravo et encore Merci

Le rêve,calme et volupté.

Une location ou l'on trouve rapidement ses marques;on est séduit dès que l'on pousse le portillon. Un espace de vie très confortable (la mezzanine donne une bouffée d'oxygène au volume) ,un jardin très agréable,une terrasse en hauteur avec une vue dégagée (idéal pour le petit déjeuner),le tout à 10 mn du centre ville et de la plage.Toute la famille a été séduite par l'accueil et les prestations intérieures. Tout est fait avec intelligence et harmonie. C'est remarquable,bravo!

Maison impeccable, bien équipée et idéalement siuée dans un quartier résidentiel à 2 pas du centre , des commerces ,du marché ,de la gare ,du port, des plages Un vrai petit paradis à recommander pour des vacances en famille ou bien entre amis , idéal pour visiter la région ou profiter de la mer Nous y retournerons trés certainement une autre fois au printemps où bien en été .Les propriétaires sont très sympas et donnent de très bons conseils pour les visites , les restaurants
