We stayed here for a month, lovely house and location. Diningroom chairs should be replaced the seats are falling apart.

Little gem of a villa

Fantastic Villa and premises, it’s actually got 5 double beds and 3 good size bathrooms- loads of space and nice location You’ll need a car to travel if you visit here as whilst it’s in a lovely surf village it’s s little remote. We had sone issues with appliances not working ( air-con and the oven) but I’m sure that’s a one off All in all a lovely peaceful stay

Wonderful and relaxing stay! 🙃✈️🥂☀️🦐 (July 2021)

The house is beautiful! We were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The rooms were all spacious, clean and nicely furnished. There were 3 fully equipped bathrooms, each with a window, instead of 2 (as described in the advertisement). The huge kitchen invites you to cook with all the necessary utensils, the culinary corner is rounded off with a built-in barbecue in the entrance area of the garden. The house has a beautiful and sheltered garden with pool (not heated) and all the garden furniture you need to relax. The location of the house in relation to the beach is ideal, as soon as you leave the house you reach a beautiful wide and long sandy beach with 4 restaurants (2 at each end of the beach) after a comfortable 5-minute walk. Unfortunately, the immediate surroundings are very deserted and there are no supermarkets and no small shops, pharmacies etc. except for a market where you can buy fresh fruit/vegetables and fresh fish (very cheap and great quality!!! - definite recommendation). The nearest possible supermarkets are in Peniche (Lidl, Aldi, Intermarche, Continente) - about 10 minutes by car, so absolutely necessary as there is no bus. The hosts welcomed us very nicely, showed us the house and gave us the keys. During our stay, they always informed us about changes in the COVID measures if they were relevant to the district and were always available and ready to help. We have seldom felt so comfortable and at home on holiday. We say THANK YOU ❤️👌 and definitely recommend them to others - we would come again :) !!

Good sized villa in Peniche

Great location, close to good restaurants with walking distance from the house. Umani restaurants was outstanding! Large property and well appointed, particularly the kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms (X3) were well appointed and spacious too. On site parking and external garden and pool, BBQ at the rear which we used. Pool was a good size that felt private. Nice touch on arrival when the host left us fresh fruit, juice and local.wine. Host was easily contactable and friendly. There is air-conditioning units in the house which didn't work. These were visible on photos but not listed. However, we managed to keep the house cool in late June. Some of the tech wasn't working. Such as the fast broadband near the router and lots of good quality wifi boosters which hadn't been set up. The awning wasn't operational, however the host ordered a new remote. In the interim a large sun umbrella was provided. There wasn't a net to clean out the pool each day to remove bugs. There was only a kids size fishing net that wasn't appropriate. A sufficient net would resolve this issue. The pool maintenance guy came the day before we left which was good. The garden would benefit from comfortable sun loungers, perhaps four would be beat. The only one available didn't have padding and was very low down, which wasn't comfortable. There's two balcony/terraces, patio which are in need of chairs. Overall, small improvements would enhance this property.

Man könnte mehr aus dem Haus machen. Schöne Lage!!

Die Bilder stimmen nicht mit den aktuellen Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, man sieht dass sich hier nicht mehr gekümmert wird. Die Lage ist schön, man ist unmittelbar am Strand und es ist schön ruhig. Der Außenbereich wird von mehreren Kameras überwacht, was die Privatsphäre stört (es steht auch nirgendwo). Es gibt leider nur 2 Liegen; wenn man aber zu 4. oder mehr ist, ist das echt doof. Die Terrasse wurde auch nicht gesäubert und es gibt einfach ein Haufen Ameisen, welche auch im Haus und sogar in den Schränken sind. Man müsste dort einfach mal wieder was am Haus machen und dieses aufrüsten und erneuern. Positiv war aber die Kommunikation und auch das schnelle Handeln des „Hausbesitzers“ er war zwar nur ein Freund des eigentlich Eigentümers aber er war super freundlich und zu jeder Zeit zu erreichen. Kurz und knapp gesagt, war es etwas enttäuschend für die Kosten.

Fantastic house in a great location

A big spacious house with a big kitchen, great decor, comfortable beds and a lovely clean pool. It backs onto a golf course so has a sense of spaciousness and the big sandy beach is only a 5 minute walk away. The upstairs balcony has a lovely view of the sunset over the sea. We would definitely recommend this house as a family seaside getaway. Our only problem was a lack of towels for the pool and beach.

Excellent house

Very spacious house which is well equipped and comfortable. Ricardo was very responsive and helpful. Neighbourhood is new and so that was the only downside. Having said that only 5 mins walk to a Lovelly beach.

Relaxing stay

This high spec house was spotless and provided restful rooms with comfy beds, shutters controlled electronically and a quiet neighbourhood for a great night sleep. Nearby restaurants serve amazing fresh fish. Special mention to Umami which also has vegetarian dishes. The property has a very well equipped kitchen. Pool maintainence personnel attended weekly. Lovely outdoor space for family time was nicely furnished. There is an outdoor barbecue/ grill for evenings by the pool. The beach is wonderful, clean clear water and lifeguards. Option of smaller coves underneath the high cliffs to the south. We met our hosts, Ricardo and Patricia a few times. They were exceptionally helpful from before booking untill we left and we benefited greatly from their local knowledge and help. This is a wonderful spot for a family holidays . Good surf facilities at the beach less than 5 minutes from the front door.
