großartiger Pool, ungewöhnlich groß, toller Meerblickgroßes Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern, die jeweils ein eigenes Bad haben - ermöglicht Aufenthalt befreundeter Paare oder zweier Familienetwas abgelegen - ideal, wenn man Ruhe sucht, aber man braucht ein Auto da weder ein Minimarkt noch ein Restaurant fußläufig erreichbar sind (auch kein Starnd, übrigens)Küstenstraße ist nahe, aber nicht störend, da man die Autos kaum sieht und hörtSchade: es gab keine Poolhandtücher und die Auflagen der Liegen waren etwas abgenutztviele Haustiere (Katzen und Hunde) auf dem Außengelände - wirkten geplegt und waren süß, aber muss man mögen, vor allem wenn die jungen Katzen gelegntlich den gedeckten Tisch erobern wollen :(Adapter nicht vergessen: Englische Steckdosen!!!!

Fantastic holiday

Fantastic holiday in a quiet spot amongst olive, lemon and orange trees with great outdoor areas and big pool, easy to find. Small clean beaches nearby and small supermarkets within 10min drive, big supermarket and lots of restaurants in Polis about 20min drive. We went just before Easter so not all nearby smaller eating out places were open. Our host was very friendly checked in with us midweek. We loved it!

Urlaub in einer traumhaften Idylle

Wir waren im April 2024 in der bennnaten Unterkunft. Die Umgebung ist sehr ländlich geprägt, was für viel Ruhe und Entspannung sorgt. Heisst aber auch das man ein Auto braucht. Direkt vom Haus aus kann man ausgedehnte Spaziergänge ob bergauf oder flach, unternehmen. Die Gegend haben wir als sehr abwechslungsrreich empfunden. Die blühenden Zitrusbäeme verbreiteten einen herlichen Duft. Der Pool war sauber und sehr angenehm. Zum Meer konnten wir zufuss hinlaufen und es uns gut gehen lassen. Schuhwerk wegen felsigem Untergrund muss unbedingt getragen werden. Wassertemperatur war OK. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und hat unseren Bedürfnissen völlige Genüge getan. Die zwei BAlkone und die Terrase sind sehr angenehm. Lediglich die Betten waren etwas hart und die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Anlage ums Haus herum war sehr schön. Alles in Allem, wenn die Ansprüche nicht zu hoch sind, ist es eien empfehlenswertet Aufenthaltsort.

Zonvakantie in prachtig huis.

Prima. Mooi ruim huis met prachtig zwembad en uitzicht. Veel privacy. Helaas niet schoon: rommel onder het bed en een beschimmeld koffiezet apparaat. Erg veel zwerfkatten buiten op het terras (11!) Hierdoor konden geen deuren of ramen open op de begane grond. OOk klopte het laatste deel van de routebeschrijving niet, waardoor we in het donker erg hebben gezocht.

Thank you for your hospitality.

We spent 5 days here. It is a large house with three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The style of this house reminds me of the 90s, but it has its own atmosphere. A big plus is the view of the sea 🌊 In my opinion, it is worth doing a small renovation of the shower cabin in the bathroom next to the bedroom downstairs. Other than that, everything's fine. Thank you for your hospitality.

Lovely peaceful location,

If you want peace and quiet this is perfect. The villa is set in its own grounds, very private and not overlooked. It is well equipped with everything you need, unfortunately there are some areas that are a bit tired and they need to be replaced to make this beautiful villa perfect. The beds are not the comfiest, maybe a little hard and the downstairs bathroom could do with updating. The pool is great, large and the water stayed warm enabling us to have a late night swim. Having the downstairs bedroom and bathroom were good for us as I have reduced mobility. The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with . We did have a very cute furry visitor whilst we were there as next doors puppy came to visit several times a day, also there are several cats that seem to hang around which didn’t bother us as we are very animal friendly. We had a fab holiday here and we’re very sad to leave. It would have been better to have had some info in the villa of the local area, shops, restaurants etc.

Lovely location just would have liked more restaurants closer to property The downstairs en-suite needs some attention and beds not the most comfortable The owner could not have been more helpful and even bought us oranges from his trees.

Fantastic Sunset View

The location was perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The swimming pool is great and also allows a great view to the ocean. Around the house everything was nearly perfect, maybe a parasol more would be good. Inside the rooms are very nice and big each with a private bathroom. Some more kitchen equipment would be fine. We can highly recommend the place. The owner is very friendly, too.

The place is great! a little dated and the beds aren't the best but for this price it was perfect! the pool was amazing and you have a lot of privacy. Sofronios was very nice, however most communication goes via the email and a different rental service, works fine though. would definitley recommend and perhaps return :)

Our stay at the Marilena Sunset villa was amazing. The house is very well maintained, the pool was great, the garden with the orange trees was really nice. The garden fences were really great for our two small kids (2 and 4 years old). You can close off the pool, as well as the terrace that's next to the house. There were some cats and the neighbors friendly dog, which the kids also adored. The house was clean, and most basic stuff was there (oil, salt, toiletpaper, cleaning supplies). The microwave was broken, and was quickly replaced by the owner for a new one. As said, the pool was really nice. Water was clean, temperature was nice. The persons who hired the house before us had the pool heated, and during our stay (beginning of may), we had no trouble keeping the pool at a nice temperature, by using the cover during night and early mornings. Earlier reviews said that the road leading to the house was problematic, but I guess this was fixed. We had no trouble reaching the house with our rental Kia. The owner was super friendly and very approachable. He even brought us a whole crate of oranges from his own garden! The (sunset) view is amazing. The house was lovely. We would love to come back someday!

Schönes Haus, leider teilweise kein warmes Wasser

Großes und den Bildern entsprechendes Haus, sauber und das Inventar ist gepflegt. Leichte und schnelle Kommunikation mit der Vermietung. Leider hat der Boiler nicht immer funktioniert, so dass wir nicht wie geplant an den kühlen Abenden im November ein heißes Bad genießen konnten. Die Badewannen waren für uns einer der Gründe warum wir das Haus ausgewählt hatten. Auch das Duschwasser war teilweise nicht wirklich warm, was bei den Temperaturen im November unangenehm ist. Ansonsten sehr gute Lage, leicht zu finden mit den gegebene Koordinaten und Anleitungen. Der Pool ist schön groß und auch ansonsten kann man sich sehr gut auf dem Gelände aufhalten (Tischtennisplatte ist vorhanden) und einen schönen Urlaub haben.

Super ruhige Lage

Die Lage des Hauses war sehr schön und auch die Außenanlage war super. Die Sauberkeit in der Küche lies allerdings etwas zu wünschen übrig und und die gesamte Innenausstattung ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und war nicht immer funktionsfähig.

Traumhaftes Haus in herrlicher Ruhe

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und prima eingerichtet. Betten bequem und nicht zu weich. Ausreichend Decken und Kissen. Die Elektrik ist teilweise mit Zeitschaltuhren geregelt, funktioniert aber prima. Klimaanlage und/oder Heizung haben wir nicht benötigt. Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, die Tür der Spülmaschine muss heftig zu gedrückt werden. Der Eigentümer war bei uns lediglich ein Mal nach 10 Tagen da, es gab aber auch keinen Bedarf unsererseits. Ist aber sehr nett und brachte frisches Obst mit. Wir hatten Riesenglück mit dem Wetter und in den ersten beiden Novemberwochen Sonne pur, blauen Himmel und kaum Wind, um die 28 Grad. Daher haben wir den Pool noch gut nützen können, reinigen mussten wir allerdings selber. Das Meer war sogar noch etwas wärmer als der Pool. Geschätzt Pool 20, Meer 22 Grad. Toll in Pachyammos. 3 Bäder, nur eines davon mit Dusche, 4 Toiletten, alles prima. Sehr viele Katzen in der Umgebung, die gerne Futter annehmen... die Türen zur Terrasse dann besser nur noch leicht öffnen. Die Nachbarn und die Straße hört man kaum, sehr wenig Verkehr, ab und zu Hundegebell und Grillen. Essen kann man sehr gut in Polis oder bei Paradise oder FlyAgain, alles in ca. 5-20 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Einfahrt ist etwas versteckt, gegenüber einer großen grünen Mülltonne vor Solarmodulen in einer kurvigen Senke am Ende des Dorfes Nea Dimata (nur einige Häuser). Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen, vor allem wenn man Ruhe sucht und abschalten möchte.
