The house was clean and matched its description perfectly, equipped with everything we could possibly need. The host family owns a tavern, where not only was the food exceptionally delicious, but the warmth and kindness of their hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Milatos Beach is a little village with beautiful shores. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay and left with wonderful memories.

Peace and quiet

The apartment was home from home which we really appreciated. Everything you need was there. The village and beach was beautiful and plenty of restaurants to choose from. And a big thank you to the family for making us so welcome.

Fantastic Milatos Appartement

We really love this beautiful relaxed village Milatos direct at the seaside. We recommend this pretty, clean, comfortable, well equipped, new and modern apartment! Even better than pictured

The flat was really cozy and clean, just like pictured if not better. Kostas and his family were very nice and accommodating, even sending us tips for local events to check out. It was only a 5 minute walk to a quiet rocky beach with trees for shadow and a sandy beach with beach loungers. The whole village is small and quiet with some high quality fish restaurants directly by the sea. We would love to come again some time!

Beautiful Apartment In An Idyllic Area

The pictures don’t do the apartment justice, it was spotless and had everything we required for our stay. The communication with the host was excellent and even when we had travel delays and a late arrival this was not a problem. The area has a small convenience store that is well stocked and several Tavernas overlooking the sea, one of which is owned by the parents of the apartment host that we would highly recommend. We had a fantastic meal and evening sat under the trees watching the sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning our return.

Tranquil Escape in Milatos

I recently stayed at a wonderful apartment in Milatos, Crete, and had an excellent experience. The apartment is located in a calm and peaceful area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, be aware that you will need a car to get around as there is no public transportation available nearby. The apartment itself is fantastic—very clean and well-maintained. The host is incredibly nice and always available to help with any questions or concerns. Highly recommended for those looking for a serene stay with the convenience of having a car.

Milatos

The apartment is spacious, clean, well-appointed with all the necessary equipment for a nice holiday and we slept well in a comfortable bed. The decoration is peaceful with charming personal touches. Milatos Beach, with its tavernas along the front, including one run by Kostas’ family, has more the laid back feel of the villages on the south coast. We can recommend the food at the family taverna and ate there frequently enjoying the very warm hospitality of the family. We would recommend it.

Logement très agréable, conforme à l'annonce, très propre et fonctionnel, confortable. Terrasse appréciable, un peu bruyante cependant. Commerce, tavernes au bord de l'eau et plage à proximité. Paralia Milatos est un village tranquille et reposant, pas encore envahi par le tourisme.

Sensationell, ich würde auch 50 Sterne geben.Super Einrichtung und Super sauber. Es fehlt an nichts. Von Alufolie bis Zahnstocher ist alles vorhanden. Wir waren begeistert. Die Freundlichkeit der gesamten Familie war Klasse. Wir werden nächstes Jahr ganz sicher dort wieder unsere Ruhe genießen.

Great apartment

Tolles Apartment, praktisch eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war problemlos per Mail möglich, immer sehr sympathisch und wir haben viele gute Tipps bekommen. In der Woche haben wir einige Ausflüge im östlichen Teil von Kreta unternommen. Kultur, Strand, Gebirge – Kreta hat alles. Mit dem Mietwagen ist man recht schnell in Agios Nikolaos, an die Südküste dauert es etwas länger - für einen Tagesausflug lohnt es sich allemal, da es auch unterwegs viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt. Im November sind nicht mehr alle Tavernen geöffnet, wir konnten aber trotzdem einige Male das hervorragende Essen und die herausragende Gastfreundschaft in der näheren Umgebung genießen. Das Wetter war gut und mit bis zu 20 Grad auch recht warm.

Excellent séjour à milatos

Située dans un petit village paisible en bord de mer, la maison de Kostas est un petit havre de paix. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre et se ressourcer. Une taverne à deux pas est tenue par la famille de Kostas, où l'on peut savourer des plats traditionnels avec un accueil très chaleureux. Je recommande !

Die Wohnung ist wundervoll und wir haben uns darin sehr Wohlgefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und das Bett war sehr bequem. Milatos ist ein sehr kleiner Ort mit vielen Tavernen am Meer und einem kleinen Market, der aber alles nötige hat. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr nett und wir haben eine Menge Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen bekommen.

Zeit am Meer

Ferienwohnung war insgesamt perfekt, sehr gemütlich u super sauber!!! Gastgeber hat uns herzlich empfangen u wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!! In wenigen Minuten waren wir direkt am Meer u verschiedene Tavernen haben uns kulinarisch verwöhnt. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu erkunden und wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!! Gemütliches, sehr schönes Apartment

Wir hatten hier, in dieser sehr schön eingerichteten Ferienwohnung, ein schöne erholsame Zeit. Unser Vermieter Kostas uns seine Familie waren hier vor Ort immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. In Milatos Beach ist es sehr entspannt und ruhig. Alle Menschen sind sehr nett und viele kleine Tavernen laden mit sehr guten Preisen zu einem gemütlichen Essen direkt am Wasser ein. Für einen entspannten Urlaub sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Apartment

Ich kann diese Wohnung ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Top Ausstattung, Top gepflegt und sauber. Die Wohnung entspricht den Bildern und ist meiner Meinung gehobener Standard (Luxus).Leider konnten wir unseren Vermieter nicht persönlich kennenlernen, da seine Familie aber im Ort eine Taverne betreibt hatte man immer die Möglichkeit persönlich in Kontakt zutreten. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt und bis zum nächstmal. Um Milatos zu erreichen bzw. für Ausflüge ist ein Mietwagen fast schon Pflicht.

Wundervolles Feriendomizil

Unsere Ferien auf Kreta waren so schön. Dazu beigetragen hat natürlich Kostas wunderbare Wohnung in Milatos, auf die wir uns jeden Abend, wenn wir von unseren Ausflügen oder von den Dorfstränden zurückkamen, gefreut haben: toller Wohnungsschnitt, komfortabel und liebevoll eingerichtet, die Küche voll ausgestattet, das Bett von sehr guter Qualität, das Bad perfekt genutzt mit Waschmaschine und großzügiger Duschkabine. Alles war wohlüberlegt konzipiert, sehr sauber und gepflegt! Einfach klasse! Kostas haben wir als wirklich aufmerksamen Gastgeber erlebt. Unterstützt wird er von seiner besonders freundlichen Mutter und der ganzen Familie. Milatos ist ein schönes, nicht überlaufenes Dorf und bietet vielerlei Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und für Unternehmungen in die interessante Umgebung. Vielen Dank für alles! Wir kommen wieder, sobald wir können.

Schönes Appartement

Wir sind sehr herzlich von Kostas begrüsst und empfangen worden. Das Appartement liegt in der 1. Etage in einem kleinen Haus und ist sehr modern und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war alles sehr, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl - wie in seinem eigenem Zuhause. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet (viele Küchenutensulien, wie z. B. Toaster, Sandwichtoaster, sehr viel Geschirr, Töpfe etc.). Es fehlte uns an nichts. Kostas Familie war jederzeit für uns ansprechbar - eine sehr herzliche Familie. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The apartment was lovely furnitured and clean. The Check in was very warm and welcommy. During our stay, Kostas always was available for recommendations, questions and tipps in general. The little village was lovely. We enjoyed every minute and are looking forward to Come back as soon as possible !

Moderne Ferienwohnung mit allem was man braucht

Super eingerichtet, sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Es wurde sich immer mal wieder erkundigt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Preis Leistung Top. Waren zu zweit 10 Tage in dem Ort, im Nachhinein hätte man die Reise teilen sollen, da der Ort schon recht abgelegen ist und man dort nicht all zu viel machen kann. Das aber nur als Tipp für alle anderen. Gelegentlich fahren morgens ein paar Motorquad-Touren durch die Straße, das war etwas nervig. Ansonsten ruhige Lage.

Hi everyone, i am Costas.
I grew up in Milatos in, the Crete countryside, but I've been a city-dweller now for the last 15 years. I am married to Eleni and we are co-hosts of this apartment together with a second one in Heraclion in Crete.
We love to travel and when we do we like to stay in cozy, well equiped and super clean apartments. This apartment has been decorated and equipped to meet thosse standards.
Thank you for considering our flat for your stay. We are experienced hosts so you can be sure that we will go out of our way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
When we are busy there will always be a member of my family to welcome you upon your arrival. I will be available via my cellphone or e-mail for additional information and advice for food, daily trips, local monuments, transportation etc.
Do not miss the opportunity to visit our family tavern "Meltemi", a few steps away, on the beach of Milatos and taste traditional dishes, cooked with vegetables from our family garden, cooked with olive oil from our olive grove, fish caught by local fishermen and drink local raki.

We are excited about Milatos as it is one of the last parts of the northern part of the island that has not been unaffected by mass tourism, preserving its natural beauty, genuine people and restaurants with traditional recipes.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The apartment is located on the main street which leads to the square with the traditional fish taverns by the sea and a short walk from the harbor with the local bar and the sandy beach and the other pebble beaches. The traditional village, with its narrow streets and stone houses, is very close by, while a little further away at 3 km, is the cave of Milatos with its important history.
Starting from the apartment, in a short walk the visitor can walk by the sea, observe the seabirds, feel the smells like thyme, oregano and other herbs, , walk through roads alongside the rich olive grove of the area, visit some from the unique chapels and end up on the hills that surround the village to gaze at the beautiful view of the area.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2018, it is fully equipped, it has been decorated with love, it is suitable for couples, but it can accommodate up to four people in the bedroom and on its comfortable sofas.
