I spent a wonderful week with with family (15 people). The house is splendid and spacious. The owner Massimiliano was really very kind and has been at our service throughout all the week to meet all our requirements in order to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The place is simply beautiful I highly recommended it.

When can we return?!

Our family of 12 ranging from 7-70 made lots of memories here… convenient to the beach and comforts of shopping, well-equipped kitchen for amazing dinners, excellent dining nearby, gorgeous sunsets… something for everyone! Max was very responsive in answering questions before and during our stay. Grazie Mille !

Great family holiday on a great property at the Tuscan coast

Great family holiday on a great property at the Tuscan coast Wonderful villa with a great location and a very helpful host (Max). Aways responsive before and under the stay. Max organized a wonderful dinner with recommended wines at the villa with a private chef. The villa is a short walk from the beach and the small-town center. We were a family (3 generations from 1- 64) and everyone enjoyed the stay. Dinner at the terrasse and a lot of fun in the pool. We all had a relax and very nice week,

Gem of Tuscan coastline

Really enjoyed this beautiful estate 5 mins from the beach. As Max said walking slowly can get to a sandy beach in no time. Enjoyed the sun, beautiful and gentle waves, amazing sunset from the outside dining table. The small village has some amazing gelato and welcoming friendly hosts with plenty of activities such as tennis, boat charters, wine tours and etc. Above all Max just does things above and beyond and is always super responsive. He drove me around to show the local restaurants and shared some amazing stories of past famous Italian actors.

The best villa we ever rented and a great host!

It was the ever best villa we rented. Ofcourse you see the nice pictures before you book, but normally you’re always disappointed when you arrive. But this time it was completely the opposite. What a place, what a luxury and what an ambiance. Every room is beautifully decorated, with good taste, a historical touch and with lots of love. Outside there are many nice places you can relax. Around the swimmingpool there are more then enough relaxing sunbeds available, and on the terrace on the first floor we have been enjoying the singing of the birds in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Apart from this everything you need either in the kitchen, in the rooms (every bedroom has a very good airco!!) or outside is available. A huge refrigerator, a second kitchen and more then enough bedrooms. We were with only 2 couples, but also the many singles had their own bedrooms. Again we never rented such an amazing villa, So beautiful and only 5 minutes walk to the village and the beach! Thank you so much Massimiliano. You are a great host!

A mini resort on the Tuscan coast!

The villa, the pool, the gardens, the town, and the beach have much to offer anyone looking for a happy getaway. Add that it's Tuscany and you get amazing weather, food, and views. Our family of fourteen, seven adults and seven kids, alternated between meals at home and local restaurants. The kitchens (two) were great. Shops and restaurants are close and there's a farmer's market. Evening strolls included sunsets and gelato and finished with additional dips in the pool and lolling about on the various patios. There's plenty of parking though we opted to go via train and stayed car-less which was no problem. With a washing machine on the premises, pack very little! Be sure to contact the owners to make arrangements for any cooking lessons, wine tours, beach services, and other extras you may want. The villa was beautiful, safe, comfortable, and the owners were very helpful in making our stay perfecto!

What a great place!

Wow! Is a great word to summarize the property. The house is simply stunning and the surroundings are very well maintained. We had our family of 9 stay at the property and we had more than enough room. The location is great, next to restaurants, shopping, supermarkets and the beach. You are also a short drive or train rides to larger towns such as Pisa, Livorno etc. Max and his family are amazing hosts. They welcomed us with fruit and wine. Then showed us around the area where to go eat and get drinks! We also had a minor issue with the water in the house which Max took care of quickly and efficiently. The one thing to watch out for is electricity usage in the property. There is some that is included in the rental but if you go above you need to pay. Understandable as it’s really hot in August, so AirCon is running and electricity is not cheap in Italy! Overall, this place is amazing. You won’t regret your stay here and Max is truly an amazing host! Next time we are back in Tuscany we will definitely stay here again.

The perfect family vacation!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the villa was or the exceptional support provided by the host Max. We had a family group of 14 people ranging in age from 6 - 77. The house was perfect for all of us. The children (and the adults) loved the pool and when we weren't out exploring Tuscany there was ample space for us all to hang out around or in the pool. The villa is very large and it accommodated us all with no problem. There was even a bedroom with 2 levels and 4 twin beds for the kids to share - they loved the "sleepover" feel. The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the villa or the views from the front bedrooms. I woke up every morning and was able to go on the balcony on my bedroom and look out onto the sea. As stated in other reviews the villa is a short walk into the town center where you will find many restaurants, shops, groceries and pretty much anything you would need for your stay. I highly recommend the Cornettos (Chocolate) and a cappuccino at Caffe Ginori which is about a 5 minute walk away. The train station is also nearby, about a 10 minute walk, and from there you can easily get to many locations in Tuscany. Before this trip I was unfamiliar with the Tuscan Coast and that is where Max proved to be an incredible host. He helped us plan a private chef dinner at the villa (one of the best vacation experiences I have ever had), a tasting at an amazing winery and a private cooking lesson for our group at the villa. I am ready to go back!!

Ein wunderbarer sehr italienischer Aufenthalt in einer tollen Villa, nicht weit weg von Bolgheri (Wein) mit Pool, kleiner praktischen Küche, Grill im Garten, nur wenige Meter zum Strand und zum bezaubernden kleinen Ort Castillioncello, kleine Geschäfte mit sehr schönem Angebot, kleine Restaurants und Cafes, alles sehr gepflegt! Der Strand ist wunderschön mit guten Restaurants, für ältere Personen allerdings nicht geeignet, da man sehr steile Treppen zum Strand hat.

One of the best holidays in Europe!

The villa is absolutely beautiful, stylish, elegant, full of history and historical pieces! Our large family of 11 (three generations) loved staying here! The place is super central to Tuscany! We experienced wine yards in Bolgheri! Went to see Forte Dei Marmi, Florence and Pisa. We also walked to the city in the evening to experience a very lively place with little shops and amazing restaurants! The beach is 5 min away, we walked there with kids and spent a lot of time swimming in the sea and sun bathing! Coming back to the house was like coming back to a safe haven. It’s so great that it has so much land! It is so beautiful and romantic that we are already planning our next year’s stay! Thank you to owners who made us feel welcome! To Daniel and Natalie for your work! And to the chef who made a great meal the first night! We miss this place already! Tuscany, you stole our heart!

Family Vacation

Our Family stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. The Owner was extremely accommodating and very helpful with restaurant reservations and activities. The villa is very comfortable and walking distance to town for shopping, restaurants, beach clubs, basically everything you could need. We look forward to returning next year.

Imposantes Haus

Wir haben mit der ganzen Familie einen schönen Urlaub in dem Haus verbracht. Es war ausreichend Platz für alle. Uns wurden sogar andere Matratzen angeboten, falls uns die vorhandenen nicht genehm gewesen wären. Bei Fragen zur Umgebung oder auch zum Haus hat jeder sofort eine Antwort bekommen.

Our family of 13 loved our stay at this house. It’s beautiful, large , elegant and perfect!

The house had everything we needed, was few minutes walk to restaurants and shopping in the quaint but upscale Castiglioncello. The pool was great and the owners responded immediately to any questions we had. We asked them to arrange for a chef to prepare a dinner for us— it was exquisitely delicious. I highly recommend doing that. We had a wonderful vacation and would like to return.

We couldn't have asked for more! We invited our extended family to stay with us to celebrate a birthday - 10 adults & 2 children. Barbara and her entire family were so welcoming and did so much to ensure our stay was fabulous! Bathrooms were spacious and clean. Bedrooms all had AC units for comfort/windows with shutters if you prefer. No screens on windows, but mosquito repellent plugs provided for each room. Grounds were amazing! Terrace was perfect for sunbathing or playing card games. Loved the outdoor eating space off the kitchen; cooked several meals at home & let children swim until dinner time. Lots of spaces to gather as a family or retreat for alone time. We wanted to celebrate the birthday with everyone and without hurrying around or making the two children sit at a restaurant for several hours. We hired a caterer and Barbara organized everything for us including appetizers on the fantastic terrace! The town of Castiglioncello was perfect; we could easily walk to a great fruit/veg vendor, small grocery, several restaurants/cafes & gelato. Our stay included cleaning service 5 days. The pool was perfect for the kids to play, beaches were easily accessible & stunning. Would definitely return!!

A perfect place..

A really nice place, the pool near the Villa creates a fantastic atmosphere protected by a park of palm and pine trees in front of a beautiful golden beach A perfect place
