Just fabulous!

This is the second time my family has gathered at Greg’s glorious lake house! We had such fun, in spite of the frigid weather! Spacious and light and comfortable with all amenities anyone could ask for and more! We especially loved all the games and the hot tub and the view of the lake and the windy waves rocking against the ice formations on the shore! Thank you!

Winter get away

The cottage was very clean and looked like the pictures. We were confused about the amount of people included in the cost. Be sure to check that so you understand. Owner not close ,I suspect ,as I was asked to deal with septic workers at 9:00 AM and take package off porch. The pool table was a hit as was the poker machine. Good spot to get away after the holidays.

Great getaway

I loved this house. The listing is accurate but don’t think it captured how great the house is. We walked downstairs to the game room and Wow. Kitchen is fully stocked, We did some cooking and it was easy to find everything we needed. Nice appliances that all worked. Being able to walk out the back door and sit on the rocks looking out over the lake was perfect. Didn’t meet any neighbors but they seemed very nice waved from their cars as I walked my dog. Sitting out back looking at storms forming over the lake with a jet skier going by and waving was just perfect for the feel of the house all weekend. Last comment the host was very responsive when I reached out with a few questions.

Family getaway

It was the first all 8 of us have been together in years. The house was as discribed and was large enough so we could have private time if we wanted. I would definitely go there again.

Lakeside

Seven of us stayed at this property for my son's RIT graduation in Rochester. It was a bit of a drive to the college, but well worth it. The lakeside location is amazing. The deck and outdoor area is perfect for enjoying the view. It was a bit inconvenient for the 3rd toilet to be unavailable because of the touchy septic system. There was plenty of bedroom space and linens. The kitchen was well stocked. My family, including elderly parents, had a great time there.

Incredible getaway

My family spent thanksgiving here and had an incredible stay. The views were so beautiful and peaceful with the sounds of the water. The house is spacious and has everything you may need! Would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting a quiet getaway in nature with friends or family.

Fishing Trip

We had a great time and had plenty of room. My only complaint is the bathroom in basement was out of order but there was 2 upstairs The kitchen had everything you need and 2 large refrigerators. Views of lake is amazing

Breathtaking

Took my family here for a nice getaway. 4 young men (20-24), my husband, dogs and myself. The view of the lake is amazing and the sunsets were beautiful. The deck was secured enough for the dogs to be loose out on it with us. Inside, there was something for everyone for evenings and rainy days.

Beautiful and relaxing

We went to just get away for a few days. Greg was very responsive and helpful when we encountered some power outages due to storms. Very pleased with the accommodations and hospitality offered by Greg.

Great entertainment House on Lake Ontario

This is a wonderfully large house that is chock full of entertainment. Located in a peaceful area on Lake Ontario, you feel like you are at the ocean. The sunsets are out of this world! The decking is huge with the hot tub, a gas fireplace patio grouping, an outdoor bar area and a gas grill. Under the deck there is other peaceful groupings that we did not use due to the chilly temps during our stay. The great room has a lot of seating especially the unique river table. The kitchen area easy to prepare meals. The downstairs is jaw dropping with the music entertainment decor and fireplace beautiful. The pool table & shuffleboard was enjoyed by our family. Also there is a video poker table & checkers/chess table. A large bar area with 2 wine fridges along with full fridge and freezer- a large plus to store drinks for our family gathering. The third bathroom down there not able to use this time of year due to high ground water pressure from winter. Nice large washer & dryer which was convenient. The house was very clean. We were there to attend the PGA Championship at Oak Hill in Rochester. The Seaway Trail is a beautiful drive from Rochester. Most of the time we obtained any extra groceries from Wegmans in Greece off Latta Rd about 20-25 minutes away. There is a Dollar General about 6 miles from the house for something urgent. Communication with the owner was excellent and we could call or text him with any questions we may have had. Many thanks Debbie & Greg!

Lake view was amazing with a beautiful lake deck and wrap around deck with a hot tub. The house was lovely decorated nicely and very clean. A nice game room for family fun. Looking forward to going back again.

Another wonderful stay at the Lake House!!

We absolutely love coming to stay at this property. Rain or shine, warm or cold, it is the perfect place for a getaway. There is so much to do to keep everyone busy, unless we are cuddled up watching movies or taking an afternoon nap! The amenities are perfect and the house is well stocked with household items and the basic necessities. Greg and Debbie are gracious hosts who want every trip to be enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your property with our family!! We will be back again for another home away from home vacation.

Relaxing game weekend

My friend and I rented this house for 4 days in Feb. We had 3 older teenagers with us and our spouses. There was plenty of room for all of us with room to spare. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked all our meals at the house. It was nice to have spices there to use and so many baking and cooking tools! The beds were comfortable but not super soft and the showers had good water pressure. We loved the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks below. It felt as if we were at the ocean. The back deck is quite amazing and I imagine in the summer it really is quite something! Greg was always quick to respond to our messages and very helpful with plenty of info on the house. A fun stay!

Wonderful view, beautiful home and an amazing game room / bar!

We booked Greg's property for Valentine's day / Super Bowl weekend. It served both purposes wonderfully. We had all we needed to make a nice meal and a massive spread for the Super Bowl, and all weekend the billiards and shuffle board tables kept us having fun!

Beautiful view

Beautiful location. Very nice yard and deck. Great hot tub. The basement is so cozy and has so many fun things to do. We thoroughly enjoyed this space. Great fire pit to sit around at night and reflect on the day. Conveniently located to a store if you forget anything. Very well equipped kitchen and the River table is amazing! Love the fireplace in the basement. Warmed the whole house. Plenty of sleeping space and 3 bathrooms is soooo nice. Huge fridge and the ice machine downstairs is fabulous.

From the minute we booked this place, we knew it was going to be a perfect fit. We actually booked this property from Tuesday-Sunday with another family of four. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out: kids to play & run around, parents to relax in one of the many outdoor spaces. The incredible lake views & sunsets, fire pit for roasting marshmallows combined with all of the comforts of home--well-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, game room in the lower level, small watercraft & PFDs to use--kept us busy & relaxed. Clean, quiet & accessible, Greg made us feel at home and kept the check in/out process simple. We inquired as to the availability of a slow cooker and they purchased one as it had been on their list to get anyway! Such a beautiful setting and we were all so glad to find this home away from home in the country and on the Lake.

This was the best experience I have ever had renting a house. The house is amazing. The views are spectacular. The beds are comfortable. It was great having WiFi and multiple TVs spread throughout the house. The game room in the basement is loaded with fun stuff. And, Greg is super responsive. We had to ask him some questions about how to turn on lights and stuff like that. He responded almost immediately. He welcomed us with a bottle of wine. And, even stocked the bathrooms with shampoo and conditioner. We could not be happier. We are already planning on returning next summer. Thank you, Greg!! We loved our stay at your home.

Greg and Debbie are the most accommodating hosts! They emailed me beforehand, welcoming me to their home. The house, itself, is pristine, and the location is breathtaking. We had a fire next to the lake, and it was just gorgeous. The basement is so much fun.
