Great communication with our host. The house was in a great location with a beautiful beach at the end of the road and an IGA and fishmongers a few minutes walk. The house was ideal for our stay with a lovely garden and outdoor shower. Lots of beach toys and bikes available which we made good use of. Kitchen fully stocked with lots of appliances and plenty of space. Great spa bath and comfortable beds made for a perfect Christmas break. *****

House was clean cozy and everything we wished for in a winter escape. Wide open deck in front of house to enjoy bbq and a kick of the footy on the front lawn. Bikes included which allowed our teen boys to venture to the famous Busso Jetty only 10 min bike ride away. Loved our stay.

Pleasant stay

The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Location was fine but we found the road noise quite loud as close to a busy road (can’t be helped). Gardens were immaculate and very secure and we enjoyed the walk to the beach with our pooches. Comfy beds. Main bedroom blinds don’t cover the windows so you wake with the sun. Nice big bath, which we enjoyed after months living on the road. We found the bedrooms cold at night due to time of year. Host allowed us to buy a heater for one of the rooms which helped as we had a baby with us. A cot with bedding was also kindly provided. Host was very accommodating and we are grateful for all the prompt communication. We didn’t use the bikes but I’m sure they would be put to very good use to families with children. Overall we were happy with our stay and Justine did everything to make our time there comfortable.

Nice coastal getaway

The house was cozy, clean and within walking distance to the centre of Busselton. Unfortunately we didn't get time to use the bicycles and kayaks but we would like to come back again.

Fresh escape holiday house

The best thing about this property is it's location,walking distance to beach and town.However, it was advertised as having 2 bathrooms, which it does not. It only has a second toilet. I would not have booked this property if I had known this , because with 4 adults and 4 children staying, , a proper second bathroom is preferred.The double bunk bed in the back bedroom was below standard, making a loud clanging sound with every movement .We paid extra for linen and towels but they were old and low quality and there were only 6 dining chairs, where 8 were needed.Otherwise the house was well equipped.

Our stay at the Fresh Escape house in Busselton was fantastic, the house was nice and close to everything. Close to the beach and everything that we needed. The host had great communication. Will definitely book again.

Perfect for a family get away, so child and pet friendly!

We stayed with our two kids and our dog, and we will be back! Justine was a really attentive host. The place was so secure for the kids and dog, the front yard is spacious and so relaxing. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck. We loved that the house felt like a comfortable beach home. We walked down the to beach and was nice to be able to have beach chairs etc available to use. The kids made good use of the bikes as well! Such a great spot. We loved our stay, thanks again!

Perfect for young children

Great house for our family, it is stocked up on everything we could have needed; games, movies, bikes (with baby seats) and a beach cart. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we'd booked the house for longer!

Fantastic House

Very close to the beach & shopping precinct. The house is warm & has a lovely beachy feel. Outdoor shower is a bonus. Would definately recommend this for a weekend getaway or longer holiday.

Originally from the UK at the age of 19 (in 1987)!! I decided to come and work/travel round Australia and basically never looked back! It was soon after I was married at 21 and emigrated with my husband to Perth, W.A.
We had many wonderful holidays in the South West as a couple and later with our two boys. It was from there we decided to buy our 'little piece of heaven' in the South West which we named Fresh Escape!

This property was and still is 'Our Happy Place', this is where memories are made and family time is had. Electronics get put away, card games/board games are played with every generation around the table, bbq's, wine/beer/coffee drinking, cricket in the garden, cricket down the beach, family and friends gather, be it summer or winter! Bike riding, fishing, kayaking,walking the dog. I would love you to share your memories here too.

Our place is unique, it is clean, comfortable but not precious. You can walk in with wet/sandy/muddy feet (plus dog), who cares! Nothing that a broom and mop couldn't sort! Over the 15 or so years I have rented 'Fresh Escape' out, I love compliments of how at home people felt, loved the beach vibe and decor, I want you to feel that you really are on holiday, whether it be a long or short stay.
Our Unique benefits are that the house is fully enclosed from the road, children and pets can play safely in the garden. A huge deck area to enjoy family bbq's, outdoor hot/cold shower to wash those sandy feet off or 'just to shower outside'! Some like the short walk to the beach, bike paths to town, figs and mulberries off our trees. Why don't you come and see what all the fuss is about and explore the South West, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
