great venue over looking the Hinterlands and close to every thing I wanted to do on my trip to the Crystal Gardens & Mullumbimby and the hospitality provided by Ouida was very appreciated sourdough bread and vegemite YuM

Lovely Byron Stay

This was a lovely home in the most beautiful location. We enjoyed being in the hills of Byron, whilst still being close to town. The place was cute and cosy, and was exactly what we were looking for.

Idyllic Hideaway

Thankyou Ouida for being the perfect host, the breakfast goodies & tho you lived close by you respected our privacy. The cottage & views upon arrival set the scene for our restful get away. The cottage was very close to local tourist attractions & beautiful Bangalow.

Wow wish we were there longer

My wife and I are making our way up the coast from Canberra to Cairns and booking stops along the way. This place was absolutely gorgeous (both the room and the surroundings.) The host provided some fresh locally baked bread for the morning as well as their own produced coffee grounds as well as some jams, milk chocolate, blueberries and more. What a find!

Gem in the hinterlands

Beautiful area surrounded by nature. Fantastic treats in the fridge. A few insects inside as expected but all add to the charm. Loved our stay here!

Loved our stay

We had a wonderful one night stay celebrating our anniversary. The property was perfect for what we wanted. We loved all the extra little touches. Definitely above and beyond what we expected. Will be coming back again for sure as would love more time to explore the land.

Tranquility

A beautiful location 20 minutes away from Byron. It was quite well kept, just what we needed to escape the rat race of Sydney. Qudia was a lovely host so welcoming and happy to make your stay comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

Night getaway

My hubby and I stayed 1 night at this beautiful little retreat. I would recommend making more time to enjoy the serenity as we didn't get much time unfortunately as I was caught up at the Crystal Cave. My recommendation would be to stay 2 nights if you can to take it all in. The host Ouida was also very accomodating and made us feel just at home. In summer time that pool would be amazing to soak in all the beautiful nature. The room itself is very private, even though the owner is next door you won't even realise as it's hidden off with lush greenery. Worth the stay 😇

The property was very secluded feeling and overlooked the west hills so we could watch the sunset. It was a perfect location for a relaxing little weekend, 10/10 recommend!

Weekend getaway

Great location for a relaxing weekend, but still close enough to Byron and other coastal towns to explore. Weather wasn't great but we still enjoyed the hut and the surrounding area
