Very convenient location to the beach and shops. Great property with plenty of room and garage space. Fantastic outdoor shower area to wash off the sand.Great communication and priced as advertised.

My family has grown up coming to Madolly Cottage during Easter breaks and have loved the space. Great new additions with outside chairs and door. 2nd bathroom a great extra. We will be back

Great location

2 night stay with my adult children and our golden. Fantastic location, easy walking to Shoal bay foreshore. The house was clean and tidy with great outdoor space.

Yearly catch up at Shoal Bay

We very much enjoyed your house howevera small arm chair for the lounge room would have been good although we did sit outside quite a bit. It was raining a lot and the lounge was a bit cosy for three adult ladies. Maybe replace the couch in the sleepout with a chair that can be moved into the lounge area as I know it’s quite small. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The chair from our side got hard to sit in after a while and the bean bags ok for kids. A couple of pot holders would be good too.

Great hosts! Top location!

Steve and Jackie really came through for us after the huge storms in Port Stephens left us without power. Such great hosts! Despite the wild weather the location of the house is perfect to enjoy Shoal Bay on a budget. Highly recommended!

Annual Shoal Bay friends catchup

Positives: Fabulous little cottage, very homely & comfortable. Large outdoor rear covered deck with BBQ & entertaining area. Good size backyard for our dog, who found the property very comfortable too. 5 min walk into town & beach. Undercover carport garage for your vehicle. Negatives: Can be a noisy road at times when we were sleeping mostly in the early morning being a residential area. Would be better with sheets & towels included in the price as other properties do include. Outside 2nd toilet should be available to use even with 3 people, states you must have 4 or more people.

Magical Madolly

We had an amazing stay at Madolly. The house has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Our kids and dogs enjoyed playing in the secure back yard and we loved waking to the beach each day. Madolly is walking distance to everything you need/want. Restaurants, cafe, parks, walks, beaches and more. We felt totally relaxed and at home. We will definitely be booking again.

Winter getaway

We have stayed in this property once before and it was nice so we decided to come again. This was one of those rare occasions where the property has actually gotten better! The Reno’s to the bathrooms and better heating have improved the property a lot, and we can’t wait to come back again next year.

My wee dog loved the big yard and we appreciated it was fully enclosed. Loved our stay - some more chairs in lounge wouldn’t go amiss and mildly annoying taking own sheets and towels but other than that fantastic

Pleasant family holiday stay

The accommodation is walking distance to the beach, the local shops and restaurants. The owner was very easy to communicate with and gave clear instructions regarding check-in and check-out procedures. The property is very dog friendly. We brought our 2-year old cavoodle with us and he liked exploring the backyard.
