We enjoyed our stay at Lake Village 22 in Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms this past week.
The resort facilities are only a short walk away down a shaded sidewalk. Parking for 1 car is OK, but for two cars one driver will need a machete to hack through the palm fronds hanging over the driver's/passenger's door if pulling straight in.
Here are some other things I found you should be aware of.
Maple and holly trees are growing in the gutters.
The left railing leading up to the door from the parking area is in need of repair. It is very loose, as are the balusters at the bottom of that section.
The balusters on the landing at the same door have been kicked out of the bottom and are in need of repair.
The towel bar/shelf in the master bath has been pulled away from the wall slightly.
The toilet in the hall bath rocks on its base.
The vertical blinds covering the sliding glass door in the living room work only by hand turning each individual blind strip. It also opens toward the door handle rather than away from it. The “stick” which should open and close the blinds as well as aid in pushing the blinds away from the door is not even attached and couldn’t work properly when attached.
And for sure, the lowest wattage bulbs possible are used for lighting in all the fixtures.
But one thing is for sure...the HVAC works very well!
